Involved in intracellular communication, adapting pathological and normal processes according to the demands of the environment. Objective: To determine the effects of neurofacilitation in the development of neuroplasticity in adults with neurological alterations reported in scientific evidence. Methodology: Keywords (Neuronal Plasticity, Neurological Rehabilitation, Rehabilitation, Treatment, Physiotherapy, Physical Therapy Modalities) were used in 16 search strategies in the different databases (Medline (Pubmed), Physiotherapy Evidence Database (PEDro), ScienceDirect, Springer, Dialnet, Scopus, Oxford Academy.) of the last 10 years (2011-2021), finding 2,538 articles related to the investigated topic. The selection processes of the articles were by reading the title, keywords, duplicity, abstract, information insufficient, theme and quality; later 8 articles were selected for final assessment. Results: 8 articles were identified in which neuroplastic changes were evidenced through the different neurofacilitation techniques in adults with neurological alterations and, in addition, the efficacy of said techniques could be identified. Conclusions: The different neurofacilitation techniques provide the physiotherapy professional with a series of tools and strategies that promote functional, significant and integral changes in the adult user with some neurological injury or alteration, in order to generate new neural networks and neuroplastic processes as a means of rehabilitator.
