Item Abordaje fisioterapéutico en mujeres con incontinencia urinaria de esfuerzo. Revisión documental período 2009-2018(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Lucumí Caracas, Marly Andrea; Gómez Ramírez, EsperanzaEl presente trabajo se denomina revisión documental en abordaje fisioterapéutico en mujeres con incontinencia urinaria de esfuerzo según lo reportado en la literatura en los años 2009 al 2018 cuyo objetivo principal es determinar las técnicas fisioterapéuticas más utilizadas en la rehabilitación en la incontinencia urinaria en mujeres que la padecen. La Sociedad Internacional de Continencia definió en 2002 la incontinencia urinaria (IU) como la manifestación por parte del paciente de cualquier pérdida de orina involuntaria. Se pueden diferenciar diferentes tipos de IU, de esfuerzo (IUE) como pérdida involuntaria de orina durante un esfuerzo, el ejercicio físico, la tos o el estornudo, IU de urgencia (IUU) como la pérdida involuntaria de orina acompañada o inmediatamente precedida por urgencia e incontinencia urinaria mixta (IUM) como pérdida involuntaria de orina asociada a la urgencia y también a un esfuerzo, ejercicio físico, al estornudar y al toser. A bibliographic review is carried out on the cognitive behavioral theory, which provides the theoretical and practical tools necessary when thinking about the behavior, cognition and emotionality of the human being, as well as the coping strategies that have been theoretically described. Therefore, what is proposed is a work of analysis and synthesis regarding the coping strategies described by the models of: Lazarus and Folkman, Ellis and Beck, Jeffrey Young, and George Kelly regarding the contributions that constitute the cognitive model behavioral as a theoretical body that integrates these contributions, as well as their possible therapeutic applications that respond to the problems that the elderly person is going through: depressive states, anxiety problems, progressive isolation and social discrimination. Monografía.(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2024) Pérez Herrera, Ana María; Valencia Salazar, Marcela María; Rivas Jiménez, Valentina; Villamarín Betancourt, Eder Antonio (Director)Cow's milk is a common source of protein in the diet, however, some people may develop intolerance or allergy to these macronutrients, this can trigger different symptoms in each of the affected individuals, predominating gastrointestinal, skin and respiratory disorders; it should be noted that this allergic reaction, like any other, if not treated effectively, can be potentially fatal. Objective: To analyze the scope of allergy to cow's milk protein in order to identify the pathology and thus improve the time of treatment initiation and prognosis in minor patients as a clinical challenge for current medicine. Methodology: a review of the literature was carried out that included cross-sectional descriptive observational studies, cases and controls and cohorts in patients with a clinical history compatible with Allergy to Cow's Milk Proteins "CMPA". Articles published in Spanish, English and Portuguese in the period between 2016 and 2023 were selected, using the PRISMA flowchart and consulting databases such as: Scielo, Scopus, Dialnet, ScienceDirect, Elsevier and PubMed. Results: the main symptom found was atopic dermatitis, where the highest incidence occurred in children living in urban areas. The methodology used to achieve to answer the objective was the following: Search of articles in various databases, a critical reading of the articles based on the Caspe scale, Filling out the PRISMA flowchart and the creation of a database in Excel. The results offer an in-depth analysis of the literature in the field of study, highlighting the variety of research methods, the geographical location of the studies and the interest in the topic. As discussion, the following topics were handled: Most frequent alterations in students' mental health, Physiological and psychological consequences related to continuous intellectual exposure, Academic aspects that influence mental health and Coping strategies. To conclude, this qualitative systematic review will contribute to a better understanding of mental health disturbances in undergraduate health faculty students, their consequences and the coping strategies used, these could serve as a basis for the development of interventions and policies that promote mental health in the university setting as it is crucial to address the mental health of students to enhance their quality of life, academic performance and ability to cope with upcoming challenges. The aim of this study is to investigate and characterize the deterioration of oral food intake in patients with Alzheimer’s disease in relation to geriatric syndromes and changes associated with cognitive decline. A scope review of studies published in repositories including PubMed, Medline, Lilacs and Google Scholar from 2013 to 2024 was conducted using relevant MeSH and DeCS terms. In this work, an analysis of two cardiopulmonary resuscitation guides will be presented, with the last update in 2015, the American Heart Association (AHA) guide and the European Resuscitation Council (ERC) guide, with a focus on the analysis of advanced pediatric life support. Priority will be given to the analysis of variables such as the quality of chest compressions and the use of medications during cardiorespiratory arrest in pediatric patients. The protocol of these guidelines shares too many similarities, as well as highlight and denote the differences found in them, thus bringing to the reader a critical perspective for the care of advanced pediatric cardiorespiratory.
