Item Alfonso López Creativo: Un enfoque holístico de desarrollo a través de prácticas Deportivas, expresiones artísticas y fortalecimiento comunitario 2024(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2024) Amézquita Cortes, Jairo Alejandro; Burbano Muñoz, María del Mar; Pulido Enríquez, Karen MasielThe document details the development and proposal of the Alfonso López Creative an sports and artistic project, which aims to be applied in the Alfonso López 3era Etapa neighborhood located in Santiago de Cali, Colombia. This study focuses on addressing social problems that affect the physical and emotional development of children and adolescents in vulnerable contexts, specifically those exposed to high levels of insecurity and violence; seeking to offer participants constructive alternatives for the use of time, improve their physical and emotional development, and strengthen the social fabric of the community. A mixed methodology is applied for contextual analysis, which includes data collection through surveys and interviews, and comparison in databases. The results of the study show the benefits of applying the artistic and sports project, such as the increase in the participation of children and adolescents in constructive activities, the improvement in physical and mental health indicators, the reduction of risk behaviors and the promotion of a safe and conducive environment for integral development. Furthermore, it is expected that the project will contribute to the generation of social capital and soft skills among the participants, thus strengthening the sense of belonging and community cohesion.Item Amenazas y desplazamiento forzado en colombia en los años 2010-2019(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2021) Pérez Pérez, Isabella; Tayakee Sanchez, Tathiana; Vargas Rojas, Marlyn VanessaThis paper aims to determine the relationship between threats and forced displacement in the municipalities of Colombia for the years 2010 - 2019. Econometric estimates were made on the conflict and violence data of the CEDE panel, with the purpose of determining the association of these variables. With this information, it was obtained that the explanatory variables such as homicides, terrorist acts and enforced disappearance present a positive and significant relationship to forced displacement in the municipalities of Colombia. In addition, the development of the work seeks to provide a description of the characteristics of displacement and threats, taking into account the conflict situation in the country.Item Análisis comparado de las brechas salariales por género entre el tercer trimestre de 2019 y el tercer trimestre de 2021 para Cali y su área metropolitana(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2022-11-28) Perez, Catalina; Obregón Morales, JohynerWage discrimination continues to generate a broad paradigm among economists and researchers who try to explain the origin of wage differences between men and women. This research aims to estimate the gender wage gap for the city of Cali and its metropolitan area between the third quarter of 2019 and the third quarter of 2021, using as a database the large integrated household survey (GEIH) provided by the national department statistics (DANE). Wage differences due to human capital characteristics and unobservable effects or discrimination factors are estimated using the Oaxaca Blinder wage decomposition method. The results show the increase in total wage gaps during the two periods 1,1% and more pronounced in feminized activities 8%, where women are highly concentrated, while in masculinized activities where female participation is very low, women have higher labor income higher hourly averages than men, which reverses the gap in favor of women (-8,3%; -10,6%). Although women have managed to match the levels of productivity represented by the traditional factors of human capital (education and experience) which continue to be relevant to understand the behavior and evolution of the gaps in many sectors of the labor market, these factors only manage to explain a very small proportion of the pay gap.Item Análisis comparativo del desempleo juvenil entre hombres y mujeres en cali y área metropolitana para el tercer trimestre del año 2019(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2021) Burbano Sossa, Daniela; León Navia, Paola Andrea; Obregón Morales, JohynerYoung people face different obstacles when entering the labor market. The purpose of this research was to comparatively analyze youth unemployment between men and women in Cali and its metropolitan area for the third quarter of 2019. This research was inferential and a binomial model was used to carry it out. This work was carried out with secondary information from the DANE page. The results show that women are more likely to be unemployed (56.5% unemployed women vs. 43.5% unemployed men). However, gender is not the only variable that affects youth unemployment. In conclusion, the work shows that the applicant's education increases the probability of job engagement for women 1.8%, as opposed to the probability of job engagement for men 1.0%.Item Análisis de la influencia del Big data en la innovación tecnológica del sector financiero en América Latina(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2020) Giraldo, Yamid Hermida; Bolaños Nequipo, Shary Alejandra; Mendieta Meza, Liliana María; Mina Varela, Carlos AlbertoIn Latin America, it is important to identify whether using Big data they have found any expected solutions, and what expectations are there for the future taking into account socioeconomic conditions. The work follows a quantitative methodology with data collection on FDI available at the Banco de la Republica for the period 1996-l 2021 taken quarterly. Forecast estimates were made using the Box-Jenkins time series methodology with the EVIEWS 9 statistical software for econometric analysis. The results that were reached is that the empirical model with the greatest adjustment, making an inward forecast, compared with the real quarters of 2021, is an autoregressive model of moving averages (ARMA) (1.1), the same with which the forecast for the periods of the year 2022. It is concluded that there is a good investment perspective for the first quarter of 2022, which can continue to encourage greater foreign investment, generating confidence, as well as possible light for future work on time series and projection on the FDI in our country.Item Análisis de las características socioeconómicas que inciden en la demanda de fiestas y festivales municipales y departamentales en colombia(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2023) Dorado Barragán, Jhann Carlos; Rodríguez Fajardo, Iván Andrés; Masso Giraldo, Sergio; Andrade Agudelo, Doris LiliaMunicipal and departmental fairs and festivals are examples of a tradition that brings together citizens due to their historical and cultural content. In Colombia there are around four thousand celebrations so far this year, which generate direct economic benefits, both for national and international tourism, as well as indirect benefits in the generation of jobs. This research carries out an analytical and descriptive study of the socioeconomic and demographic characteristics that affect the demand for municipal and departmental fairs and festivals in Colombia. The objective is to explain, essentially, the causes and effects through a binomial probability model, with data from the Cultural Consumption Survey (2020), obtained by the National Administrative Department of Statistics (DANE). The results show the importance of variables such as: age, educational level, the region where one lives and the number of children for attendance at municipal and departmental fairs and festivals in Colombia.Item Análisis de las organizaciones de recicladores en proceso de formalización inscritas ante la Superintendencia de Servicio Público de Aseo en el Valle del Cauca(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2022) Martínez Cucuñame, Lauren Massiel; Acuña Chávez, Pedro Luis; Córdoba Serna, Karina; Moreno Gutiérrez, José LuisIn Colombia, one of the great problems is the inadequate management of solid waste. The patterns of consumption and unbridled practices will cause health emergencies in the country and a high generation of greenhouse gas emissions that will tend to worsen in the coming years. The work of the professional recycler is highly relevant in society and is a fundamental piece for the transformation of usable solid waste. The purpose of this research was to analyze the organizations of trade recyclers registered with the superintendence of public sanitation service in Valle Del Cauca to establish the organizational functioning against the use of solid waste. This work was carried out with secondary information from the review of data from the Public Service Superintendence (SSPD), documents provided by the same organizations and organizational instruments. In addition, semi-structured and structured interviews were used as primary sources. The results show that waste picker organizations lack support in monitoring and accompaniment by public institutions, which has hindered their formalization process. A disadvantage has been observed since the implementation of the decree in the face of direct competition with established private entities and the lack of a robust financial muscle that facilitates the progressive process of formalization.Item Analisis del comportamiento de la trm para colombia en el Periodo 2017 – 2022(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2023) Eslava Serrano, Tatiana; Trochez Hernández, Sebastián; Duran Peralta, JuliánThis research examines the behavior of the market representative exchange rate (TRM) of Colombia, in the period from 2017 to 2022, using a weekly periodicity through information published by Banco de la República. For which a log-lin model is applied to measure its trend, which is complemented with a previous descriptive analysis. Therefore, quantifying the growth rate of this indicator and describing its behavior are the main objectives of the study. The results show that the TRM presents a weekly growth rate of 0.15%, with a positive and significant trend throughout the period, with volatility that is not constant, due to interest rate increases and decreases, inflation, among others.Item Análisis del comportamiento del crédito por libranza entre junio 2013 y junio 2019; caso de estudio credibanca sas.(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Gomez Ordoñez, Jessica Marcela; Obregon Morales, JohynerWith this case study work for the firm Credibanca SAS, a libranza operator, which offers credits to private sector workers, who have negative reports in risk plants, seeks to determine the ideal generating process with the sales of the firm, for the headquarters of the city of Cali, managing to identify the components of the time series, in the placement for the firm, and thus be able to estimate a sales forecast for 06 periods, from July 2019, until December 2019, from the placement of libranza credits in the city of Cali for the company Credibanca SAS. To accomplish the objectives of the work, a database provided by the firm Credibanca SAS was taken, which consists of historical data of the placement or monthly sales from June 2013, until June 2019; qualitative and quantitative descriptive statistics will be analysed in the Rstudio software and the ARIMA forecasting method will be applied, which will be applied in the Eviews 10 software, selecting the best model using the Akaike and Schwars information criterion, with which sales forecast is carried out for the periods July 2019, until December 2019. The results yielded through the help of the eviews software, with the choice of the best ARIMA model, show a higher growth in sales of the 10 month, a result that may be altered by the conjunctural theme that caused credits to be repressed October 2018, which generates a fairly significant spike in historical sales behavior, which is therefore concluded, according to the 11 forecast generated by the Eviews 10 software, and the result and trend presented by the Hodrick-Prescott filter, that the trend of sales for firm Credibanca SAS is growing.Item Análisis del comportamiento del índice colcap entre el periodo 2020 y 2022, aplicando un modelo arima(Universidad Santigo de Cali, 2023) Díaz Espinoza, Alejandra; Pulgarin Valbuena, Cristian Camilo; Obregón Morales, JohynerIn this article, an analysis of the behavior that the IMBC COLCAP has been having over the last three years is carried out, evidencing how the fluctuations can be explained by macroeconomic factors and by the main events of a national and international nature that have occurred in the country during this period. time frame. For this, an ARIMA modeling was used, which served as a technical part of this report, where the evaluation components contained in this model were vital at the time of the analysis of the time series. Additionally, by means of a forecast made from within the data, it is possible to arrive at the econometric form that is closest to the real behavior of the COLCAP index during the period of time analyzed, achieving a reflection of behavior, but which hardly manages to adjust to the volatility that represents the variable.Item Análisis del comportamiento mensual de las exportaciones en cantidades del petróleo y sus derivados para colombia en el periodo 1992 al 2022 y un pronóstico para el 2024-4(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2023) Simales Ibarra, Fabian Alejandro; Valderrama Quintero, Maria Fernanda; Castillo Tabares, RubenThis study aims to analyze the behavior of Colombian exports for approximately 3 decades from January 1992 to October 2022 in metric quantities, evidencing the highest and lowest peaks according to public policies, projects presented by the national government and confinement due to the Covid-19. The time series will be treated by an exponential smoothing method and forecast until the last quarter of 2024 to demonstrate the behavior of the foreign trade activity of Colombian crude oil ceteris paribus. The results from the Holt-Winter method show that the trend is showing downwards due to possible and different political, financial, foreign trade or external factors to Colombia.Item Analisis del desarrollo d euna sistema de energia solar fotovoltaica para los territorios de la comunidad indigena de valencia, en el departamento del amazonas(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2022) Osorio Duque, Jair Ricardo; Moreno Gutiérrez, José LuisThis work collects the results of a socialization of renewable energies to Indigenous communities, with the objective of analyzing the need and interest that there is in the area of the implementation of electrical energy through the sustainable exploitation of natural resources, through the resulting act of the meeting held in July 2021. The research method is descriptive, and highlights that the territory of Valencia is aware of the need to implement an energy resource in the area and is not reluctant to develop it, as well as evidence of the abandonment by the State of projects of social benefit for the Indigenous communities of the Departmental territory. The document concludes with the budget support of the feasibility of implementing solar panels in Valencia, Amazonas.Item Análisis del volumen de exportaciones colombianas de café para el periodo entre 1992 - 2022(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2023) Hurtado Angulo, María Camila; Rosas Muñoz, Miguel Ángel; Duran Peralta, JuliánThe general objective of the present investigation is based on the analysis of the export volume of Colombian coffee for the period from 1992 to 2022. Consequently, a multiple linear regression model was estimated where it was possible to show cases of seasonality and trend in the exports of Colombian coffee, noting that the dependent variable does not have a significant trend, likewise during the three months (April, November and December) there were changes in the export dynamics within the year. Additionally, it is highlighted that the production of Colombian coffee has undergone different changes, produced by factors such as 2 strong climatic changes, political, social and economic decisions, since the coffee sector due to its high participation in Colombian GDP is closely subject to volatility. prices and the exchange rate. In addition, considering the event called "the end of the quota agreement" in 1998, where the entire landscape of the coffee sector changed drastically. In methodological contribution, the application of the measures proposed by Lozano (2015) was taken into account, where “the national and international interest rate” was highlighted as explanatory variables, as well as “the nominal exchange rate” during the development of this century in Colombia. The applications of the previous measures defined certain results or conclusions that allow tracking the nominal behavior in Colombia for the established period (2000-2020), it could be observed that there is a relationship between the variables denoting the evidence to affirm that the parity hypothesis ("One by one") is not fulfilled in the short term but in the long term.Item Capacitaciones financieras y red de asociatividad para emprendedores en el barrio el comercio de barbacoas Nariño(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2024) Vargas Angulo, Guillermo Enrique; Moreno Gutierrez, Jose LuisThis article highlights the key initiatives that will be implemented in the El Comercio neighborhood, in the municipality of Barbacoas-Nariño, to support entrepreneurs, seeking with these actions to promote sustainable evelopment and financial prosperity of the community, using the established methodology which is qualitative because its main focus is to provide training in finance and establish a network of associations to promote local products. Among the findings, it was highlighted that entrepreneurs perceive the support and impetus that technology provides to strengthen their products within the market. The execution of this project is for 3 years, being profitable from its first year of application.Item Caracteristicas diferenciales de calidad del empleo en las plataformas digitales; caso rappi colombia, año 2019(2021) Cerón Cardona, Maria Angelica; Arango Cadavid, Alejandro; Loaiza Aguirre, Gerardo; Castillo, RubenThe main goal of the investigation is to analyze the differential characteristics of the employment’s quality of digital platforms on working conditions, Rappi Colombia 2019 case, this was mainly motivated by rumors about the violation of rights to decent and quality work manifested in constant protests by employees of the technological platform in Colombia and other countries where it operates. To verify compliance with the hypothesis, an analyze is carried out on the emergence of this new business model of the 21st century framed in a new era of industrial revolution. Primary and secondary information provided by the survey of Rappi workers and the Great Integrated Household Survey of 2019 is used. Based on the results obtained, it’s possible to conclude evidence of the informal conditions under which contracts are made in Colombia , which become more notorious in the case of Rappi, manifesting the breach of labor regulations, with arguments that under modality undertaken by the platform, each new employee can control the working conditions according to their needs and expectations, however, according to the statements of the Rappitenderos, the apparent independence is only a persuasive factor to avoid the contractual and labor formalization responsibilities that should be fulfilled.Item Corrupción como factor de riesgo para la internacionalización de pymes del sector textil(2019) Bastidas Mezu, William David; Meza Sinisterra, Roberto; Perea Arrechea, Jeferson; Donado Mercado, AlexandraThe purpose of this is to identify the impacts of corruption in international business as a risk factor for the internationalization of SMEs in the textile sector in Colombia, through research using secondary sources of information collection such as University databases. Santiago de Cali The results are framed in the development of the research in which three issues are derived, which are the behavior of international sales, the greater corruption damages that occur and the effects of the economy submerged in the production of the textile sector in the country to participate in international business, conclude that these affected frameworks affect the activities related to the internationalization of the SMEs involved, evidencing situations such as unfair competition and delayed processes, while tax revenue and the possibilities of increase foreign investment fall due to the perception of high risk in countries where corruption in international business is higher.Item Crecimiento económico y gasto público en seguridad en colombia, ghana, nicaragua y nigeria: 1961-2018(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2021) Vergara Jaramillo, JavierIn this work, the behavior of public spending on defense and economic growth was evaluated through a descriptive and empirical analysis, also, the type of relationship exerted between both variables was estimated for a group of countries: Colombia, Ghana, Nicaragua, Nigeria, for In the period 1961-2018, its methodological structure was designed with secondary sources obtained from the institutional repository of the World Bank Data Bank, in the theoretical aspects it was based on different theorists of public finance such as Wagner. The main findings show a fluctuating behavior in terms of the variables analyzed in all countries, but a better performance in Nicaragua in terms of the economic growth rates achieved. Through a descriptive-analytical analysis that aims to show, and make a synthesis, about the relationship between the development of agro-industry and the phenomenon of food security. With a scope of only doing a literary review and collect statistics on biofuel production and food production. As a result, the development of biofuel agroindustry has 5 plants for the production of ethanol and 7 plants for the production of biodiesel. It is understood that for the production of these large extensions of land is needed, altering the use of the soil for the production of food. But despite the rates of malnutrition and malnutrition represent an adverse reality for food security. Which allows us to conclude that food security is located in those regions where the biofuel industry has had its greatest development.
