This work has secondary sources from the review of documents in electronic databases and four interviews to officials of the Human Resources Area of organizations and / or entities that have already implemented this new work modality, yielding positive results for the company as for the worker. In conclusion, teleworking is a model that seeks the welfare of the worker and that organizations obtain benefits in terms of increased productivity, more efficient processes, lower costs and reduced absenteeism.Item Análisis de las principales variables impactadas con el proceso de implementación de acreditación en una empresa social del estado (ese) del sector salud de primer nivel en Santiago de Cali.(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2020) Mosquera López, Diana Marcela; Osorio, Jorge Leonardo; Sinisterra, Harry Antonio; Andrade Agudelo, Doris LiliaThe objective of this work is to determine the benefit reflected in the services derived from the implementation of the quality accreditation process in the ESE Center Health Network in the city of Santiago de Cali, during the period of 2015 - 2018. At the methodological level the documentary review of academic documents, official and management reports of the ESE under study in the period between 2014 and 2018 was used. The accreditation brings benefits in the operational capacity of the ESE of health, regarding the progress of patients was achieved an increase, progressive between 2014 and 2018, in the latter where evidence will be achieved that had a progress of 2004 patients. In financial terms, a positive impact was also found, the ESE presented a budget balance where revenues are greater than the projected expenses for validity, the average income over expenses is 6%, registering a greater increase in 2017 of a year. 12% of the value of expenses, which concludes that the administration has policies to increase production with a level of projected expenses or below budget. Part of the economic success focused on the sale of services of the entity in the attention to the population of the subsidized regime, one for its geographical location in the most vulnerable communities of the city and another for the regime of users of greater attention in the provision of services of the city of Cali. Therefore, the problem identified is related to a lack of information about the work environment in a public educational institution in Santiago de Cali. This was based on the absence of an effective means of communication between the different branches of the institution, which makes it difficult to coordinate activities. Therefore, this research focused on analyzing the organizational climate of an official educational institution in Santiago de Cali, with the aim of identifying the influencing factors to propose strategies that would lead to its improvement, this work was based on the mixed approach and the type of study used was the descriptive one, the analytical method was used to understand the nature of the organization's climate, A survey adapted to the reality of the institution was carried out, which was applied to 10 employees of the administrative area, in order to analyze aspects related to the organizational climate such as communication, motivation, reward, conflict, cooperation, among others. A nivel metodológico este trabajo corresponde a un estudio descriptivo, el cual consiste en describir un problema o fenómeno evidenciado en una población, se consultaron fuentes secundarias de información, mediante la revisión documental, entre estos artículos científicos, trabajos de grado, reportes empresariales e informes oficiales. Respecto a las experiencias o casos de mujeres en cargos de dirección se encontraron ejemplos en grandes empresas, donde mujeres han liderado proyectos y estrategias de gestión que les ha permitido el reconocimiento en el ámbito nacional e internacional. A la vez se hizo visible como mujeres se han destacado en proyectos de emprendimiento en el contexto de las pymes. En los casos citados se hizo visible que el esfuerzo de las mujeres tuvo un impacto económico porque consolidaron una idea de negocio, pero más allá de ello también se hizo evidente que su labor tiene un impacto social generando puesto de trabajo, al tiempo que son un referente de liderazgo y labor social que transforma los estereotipos de la mujer en la sociedad. Se concluye que desde la gestión humana se han desarrollado esfuerzos para a que la mujer tenga igualdad de oportunidad y acceder a cargos de alta gerencia en PYMES, los esfuerzos van desde modificar el discurso organizacional y los estereotipos asociados al género, para transformar los perfiles de los cargos, de lo cual debe derivar en la igualdad de oportunidades y condiciones para hombres y mujeres.Item “Análisis del uso del comercio electrónico como estrategia competitiva para las agencias de viajes en Santiago de Cali 2020”(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2020) Jiménez Medina, Luisa Marcela; Burbano Cerón, José MaríaThe objective of this work is to analyze the use of electronic commerce as a competitive strategy for travel agencies in Santiago de Cali in 2020. For this reason, this research explored the origin and evolution of electronic commerce, the perception that Travel agencies have about it and how they have strategically implemented its use to be competitive in the market. In this context, the applied methodological design is descriptive and quantitative in approach, in which general information on electronic commerce and its influence on the tourism sector was collected, providing relevant data for the analysis of the object of study. The technique used to collect information was through a survey of a sample of 260 travel agencies in the city of Cali. Subsequently, secondary sources represented by documents such as books and articles related to the research topic were used. According to the results obtained, it was possible to see that in their entirety the travel agencies in one way or another make use of the digital means mentioned in the research, to offer their different services as well as to make themselves known in the market and create positioning of brand. One of the most outstanding benefits of using electronic commerce is that carrying out each of these processes does not require a greater financial investment and specialized personnel, being reflected as a strategy to reduce costs and expand in the market.Item Beneficios en la implementacion de los Sistemas de Gestión de la Salud y Seguridad en el Trabajo en el sector de la salud(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Callejas Ospina, Paula Andrea; Galvis García, IsabellaSafety and Meath at Word (OSH) is an approach to the prevention of labor risks that requires contributions of management systems in safety and health at work in the prevention of these. However the work has brought the exposure to different situations capable of causing occupational injuries and illnesses, even the death to workers. These are implemented so make the organizations more competitive in the market and have a vision focused on continuous improvement by standardizing processes through Quality Management models. It was searched in the databases SCOPUS and SCIENCEDIRECT with the keywords: quality, management, quality management models and competitiveness. The main finding is that the implementation of each of these quality management models helps to be closer to customers, suppliers and businesses in general, providing better organizational results, as well as user satisfaction and loyalty.Item Características de los procesos de gestión de calidad que inciden en la certificación de las empresas exportadoras en Colombia(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2020) Mora Flórez, Erika Lorena; Gordillo Rodríguez, Yohana Carolina; Moreno Soto, Juan CarlosThe present investigation has as objective to characterize the success in the certification of the processes of quality management inside the exporting companies in Colombia, for which the investigation of descriptive type is made, with sources of secondary information on publications that cover the subjects appointed. The results allow us to conclude that the advantage of quality certifications is manifested more clearly in the productivity of the company in relation to its export performance. Only the most productive companies are able to overcome the risk and the irrecoverable costs associated with entering foreign markets.Item Causas y efectos del ausentismo laboral en las organizaciones(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2020) Molina Vergara, Maritzabel; Mosquera Mosquera, María Marcela; Vargas García, Lina MarcelaThe following article aims to identify the causes and effects of absenteeism in organizations. To develop this research, the descriptive method was used, since the causes and effects of work absenteeism were only identified in the organizations identified in previous works, both from theoretical and practical perspectives, that is, the findings of applied research on the subject and a description will be made of these. The most common diseases were found to be: Cardiovascular diseases, sleep apnea-hypopnea, work stress, depressive disorders, covid -19, work fatigue, visual diseases, multi-skeletal disorders, psychosocial risk diseases, for which workers are absent from work, the most frequent work accidents were: falls, contusions, visuals, hand injuries and the most common effects generated in organizations are: Low productivity and competitiveness, work overload, high training costs. A search was made in the following databases ScienceDirect, Scopus, selecting 30 articles that deal with the topic.Item Clima organizacional como un factor clave para promover la productividad de las organizaciones(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Orozco García, Luz Mary; Arroyo Burbano, Lina María; García Ocampo, DavidThe objective of this document is to address the impact that the organizational climate (CO) has on the growth and productivity of organizations. A bibliography review of documents is used; scientific and academic articles from databases such as Scielo, Sciendirect, Scopus, Elsevier, among others, using as keywords: organizational climate, productivity and evaluation of CO. The CO is present in all organizations, regardless of their economic or social nature, through factors that are perceived differently by employees, which shape the context where productive activity takes place. A rewarding CO favors productivity because it allows motivated and committed employees, which are located at the disposal of their abilities, knowledge and experience. On the contrary, a negative or conflicting CO entails problems such as the withdrawals or disengagement of personnel that have an effect on suspending or reducing the pace of productive activities.Item Competitividad y planeación estratégica en las pymes a nivel nacional(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Castro Ortiz, José Dayber; Martínez Gómez, Diego Alejandro; Cruz Aguilar, Pedro leónCompetitiveness is the ability of a company to achieve and maintain a higher than average profit established in the sector, based on a competitive advantage. Therefore, Competitiveness is an important and determining factor in the success that a company achieves over time. In the case of Pymes in Colombia, this economic sector must be able to compete with other industries already established in the market and subsequently supply customer satisfaction, wishes and needs. The concept of Strategic Planning has become the fundamental axis of organizations that seek to fulfill their objectives. In the same way, companies prepare strategic plans, which aim to execute routes of action in order to face the different challenges in the business environment. The following article aims to review articles to analyze the concepts of competitiveness and strategic planning about Pymes in Colombia. Next, an exhaustive search was conducted in the following ScienceDirect, Scopus and Taylor databases with the keywords such as; Competitiveness, strategic planning and strategy, 30 articles dealing with the aforementioned topics were selected. The definition of competitiveness, strategic planning, importance and evolution of Pymes in Colombia was found, with this approach organization achieve efficient performance that allows them to be competitive and position themselves in the markets. For this, the characteristics of the biological risk and its management are described, it establishes the requirements that the legislation has established for the implementation of the biosafety protocols. At the methodological level, a bibliographic review was used, which involved consulting secondary sources, such as scientific articles, research reports and documents from official authorities. Biological risk management is more common in businesses such as health institutions, beauty centers, hairdressing and related businesses. In the commercial and industrial context, it is not so common that emphasis is placed on their identification and management. With the coronavirus: Covid -19 pandemic, the need for mitigation measures is evident so that companies do not interrupt operations and do not put their employees as customers in danger. A Health Management System and the Safety at Work (SGSST) fosters safe and healthy work environments by offering a framework that allows the organization and, in particular, the administrative area the Aveto S.A.S., to identify and satisfactorily control their health and safety risks, reduce the potential for accidents, support compliance with laws and improve performance in general.Item Diseñar un aplicativo en Excel, para distribuir el impacto de las variables más representativas en la creación de empresas usando simulación de Montecarlo(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2020) Londoño Díaz, Raúl Andrés; Bustamante Escobar, Luis Eduardo; Moreno Soto, Juan CarlosThe objective of this research was to design an Excel sheet for Financial Simulation to define the concepts, variables and possible scenarios to apply the Monte Carlo Model to investment projects. The methodology used was a descriptive type quantitative approach with an experimental, explanatory, descriptive design; the information was collected through the generation of a physical and private database; the information was obtained through physical documents and web pages. Instruments were designed to collect, classify and analyze the existing common information. Subsequently, the specialized literature consulted was analyzed to identify the criteria for selecting software for the analysis and simulation of investment projects. And finally, the Excel sheet method was designed to identify and project the selection criteria of a project in three possible scenarios. The results showed that the elaboration of an Excel sheet to project the application of the Monte Carlo Model in three possible scenarios is possible, feasible and very practical, yielding results within a context of the marketing, operational, administrative, legal, accounting and financial areas. Resulting in a very particular and practical tool when evaluating investment projects.
