Although there are many entrepreneurs within the informal sector who seek to carry out their own business activities, in an organized way being their own bosses, it is also evident that in the informal work sector there is a large majority of people who are forced to develop their business activities. Small-scale production, with poor organization, planning, low productivity, without access regulation and minimum conditions of support and health.Item Síndrome de burnout en el personal de salud que labora en una unidad renal de la Ciudad de Cali 2016(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2017) Sandoval Saenz, Edith Marleny; Salazar Guerrero, Diana Shirley; Rojas Zuñiga, ClaudiaThe present study describes the prevalence of burnout syndrome in health personnel working in the Renal Unit of a clinic in the city of Santiago de Cali in 2016. However, some workers do not have a clear awareness of this phenomenon and the preventive measures that must be taken against these risks, since they have the wrong perception that they have been working for X time in this type of work without any standard of security and without fatal results and for this reason, they do not see the need to comply with industrial safety standards. This perception is evidenced mostly in workers in the construction sector who are hired by the end of the work and with a precarious level of education. Generally, accidents due to fall from height are fatal or severe and a large percentage of them occur when workers perform occasional tasks that are punctual or different from those of the company's operation. Although it can be perceived that when jobs are routine, workers tend to ignore or become familiar with the risks of work to the point of "becoming immune" to them and therefore are no longer perceived as a risk to carry out the work.Item Condiciones biomencanicas asociadas a trauma acumulativos en miembros superiores por movimientos repetitivos en el área del desprese de una empresa Avícola en el municipio de Candelaria, 2017(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2017) Gil Girón, Maribel; Solis Barona, Alba Lucia; Cárdenas Jaramillo, JeimmiLocomotor system disorders are one of the main causes of work absenteeism and entail a considerable cost to the public health system, these disorders have specific characteristics associated with different regions of the body and various types of work. These types of disorders can be as mild as occasional pain or as serious as a specific disease clearly diagnosed. Among the biomechanical risk factors we find repetitive movements, prolonged postures and muscular overload, among others. There are several methods to identify the biomechanical risk, among them OCRA whose purpose is to determine the risk according to the physical burden of the tasks, to categorize it and prioritize the risk intervention actions. About the compliance of protocol, it was checked that thelapse of time between the taking of samples and the delivery of results has a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 18 days; the times that more are repeated the delivery of samples are 3 at day 8 and the average samples are 1,57 with 12,28 days to the delivery. It was found that 10 of the 11 patients are remitted to gynecology to benign changes control and the other patient is remitted equally with another type of abnormalities, performing to everyone colposcopy and biopsy. The minimum lapse of time between the exam order and the sample taking is of 6 days, the longest time was 104 days for an average of 31.81 days. Among the 12 patients all times were independent. The biopsy results confirmed more serious diagnoses of epithelial cell abnormalities with 10 cases of low-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion (LGSIL), corresponding to 1 case of human papilloma virus infection (HPV) and 9 cases of cervix intraepithelial neoplasia grade I (CIN I). With a higher degree of severity, was found a case of high grade intraepithelial squamous lesion (HGISL) which is a cervix intraepithelial neoplasia grade II (CIN II). This confirms that the cytology is not a diagnostic medium and that this may underestimate the severity of the abnormality, which is evidenced in that 9 of 11 patients presented intraepithelial neoplasia in the biopsy result. The treatments established for each diagnosis correspond to that indicated in the technical standard for early detection of cervical cancer, nevertheless, the source does not allow to determine the type of treatment to 8 patients that specify with option "OTHER". It is also evidenced that 9 of the 11 women who received treatment achieved a negative control cytology for intraepithelial lesion or neoplasia. Meanwhile 1 of the 11 women who in her cytological screening was found ASCUS and the biopsy result was CIN I, presented ascus 6 months after treatment received; in this case it is impossible to advance in the analysis since the source document only records that the type of treatment was "OTRO" option. In 1 of the 11 samples of the subject population refers to a patient who did not perform the control cytology. The above allows to demonstrate that the treatments established were effective in this group of patients. It was also possible to determine important findings, that a higher prevalence of ASCUS results in control cytologiesduring the period from January to June 2014, was presented in the age range of 26 to 30 years, followed by the group of 20 to 25 years, which reveals the effectiveness of cervical cytology for timely detection of epithelial cell abnormalitiesand thus the early detection of cervical cancer. Of the 11 ASCUS results submitted from January to June 2014, 10 refer to women in annual screening and those who attend for the first time in the IPS. Finally, it could be appreciated that of 533 patients who entered the service of early detection of cervical cancer during the first half of 2014 at IPS ASMISALUD, 11 patients had atypical squamous cells of indeterminate meaning ASCUS representing 2.1% of the total patients. In the present work of degree, it was not possible to evidence that the cytology of first time is a directly related risk.Item Satisfacción de los cuidadores de pacientes que se encuentran en el programa de fisioterapia de SISANAR S.A. en la ciudad de Santiago Cali el periodo Junio-Julio de 2017(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2017) Angulo Tello, Luz Daniela; Mena Caicedo, Ángela María; Botero Restrepo, SoniaItem Determinación de las condiciones de salud y medio ambiente de trabajo, de los profesionales afiliados a la asociación colombiana de médicos veterinarios dedicados a la clínica de Pequeñas Especies, capitulo Valle, de la ciudad de Cali en el año 2017(2017) Cuartas Cortes, Viviana Gicel; Lemos, Liseht Melisa; Bedoya, María TeresaThe present work denotes the characterization of the health and working environment conditions of the Colombian Association of Veterinary Physicians dedicated to the small species clinic in Valle. For the development of this work, a descriptive analysis was carried out that diagnosed the risk situation in the companies, as well as the perception of risk by the collaborators, which were necessary to determine the intervention proposal. Among the results identified, it was established that despite not reporting high accident rates and occupational diseases by these companies, it is observed that in most of them there is a situation of health conditions and the work environment, relatively stable However, improvement actions that allow risk reduction should be implemented, since many of these companies do not have occupational health and safety programs that allow them to measure and mitigate potential occupational hazards. In this sense, the improvement strategies basically focused on four work fronts consisting of 1. Reducing the accident rate and occurrence of occupational diseases, 2. Implementing good manufacturing practices that promote prevention and control according to the identification of hazards , assessment and assessment of risks, 3. Comply with the applicable national regulations applicable to occupational hazards, and 4. Strengthen occupational safety and health knowledge, through the implementation of the annual Training Plan.
