Desarrollo del sistema de Información de registro y control para programas de Comunicación Infantil y Adulto Mayor de Bienestar Universitario de la Universidad Santiago de Cali

The Ministry of National Education, Law 30 of 1992, requires that higher education institutions carry out university welfare programs. The Santiago de Cali University has an area of University Welfare that manages the Comunidad Infantil and Adulto Mayor programs. These programs have a manual data collection method, which implies greater operational load and exposure to information error. For this reason, decide to build the module "Gestión de Programas" that integrates the research project "Sistematización de los procesos de Bienestar Universitario de la Universidad Santiago de Cali" since it is based on a modular programming paradigm. For the construction of this module, the requirements must be analyzed, modeled a database and built a web application that allows the execution of the registration and control processes. The Scrum methodology and the AUP methodology are selected as they provide advantages in relation to time - quality; the technique of interviewing the client is used to take requirements. The construction is carried out in a total of 12 iterations, and the integration of the modules was handled through the GIT version control tool. The user validation modules and creation of courses previously built in the research project were coupled. The information is stored in the database that contains the integral and centralized information. With the proposed solution it is possible to systematize the key processes for the programs.

Currently, the national board of education (MEN) has a goal which name is “Colombia the best-educated for the year 2025” with the purpose of enhancing the quality of the undergraduate preparation. The ICFES assesses the official Educational Institutions (IEO) through a test known as SABER available for 3rd,5th,9th and 11th graders. The official Educational Institution Julio Caicedo and Tellez from Cali, Colombia has not met the desired requirements for such test in the 5th grade, where weakness in the area of language and math are evident. Therefore, they have decided to implement the use of Technologies of Information and Communication (TIC) as a strategy to trace the academic process. The following article shows the analysis, design, and development of a web tool that creates and executes tests based on competencies for students in the 5th grade of basic primary education. In order to fulfill the objective, an analysis was performed to verify the need for implementation of a tool in the institution that allowed to finally start its development using an Agile Unified Process (AUP) methodology and some SCRUM elements, giving as a result, a modern architectural design that allowed the development of a functional prototype which was perceived positively by the institutions faculty by meeting the principal functionalities required and the market required standards.
Nutricom: aplicación que recomienda alimentos saludables a partir de reconocimiento de alimentos en imágenes para evitar enfermedades

The poor nutrition and feeding has become one of the great problems of modern life, causing a number of diseases and accelerating the transformation process. It is proposed to solve the problem with the implementation of a mobile application, based on artificial intelligence, which employs visual recognition of images suggested food intake or not, according to the user's profile including diseases, eating habits. The objective of the project was to classify the foods present in an image and calculate their caloric value to suggest healthy and nutritious foods. The methodology used was in cascade or life cycle, since it is the most common and oldest software development, and is widely used. The NUTRICOM mobile application can be integrated with the Watson API, visual recognition of food images, taking advantage of its ability to recognize more than 2,000 foods and "train" with it. Through the application, people can learn to eat well according to their profile. In conclusion, it can be said that for the visual image recognition API to have a correct operation, you must carry out a training or learning of at least 50 images per food

Cali is internationally recognized as the world capital of salsa, however, despite this recognition, this musical genre has lost strength in the city. There are currently many people who are unaware of the cultural, social and economic value that salsa represents for Cali as well as all the development and evolution that this musical genre has had in the city. The emergence of new musical rhythms such as merengue, bachata and reggaeton, salsa in Cali has been overshadowed: through contact with youth it results in many young people not considering or not seeing in the sauce more than just one more genre, or even not important to attend such events. In order to carry out this research, the problem was studied based on the analysis of real and direct data (collecting user opinions) and some believe that this fact has degenerated the salsa identity and this has happened in the background. In order to contribute a little to the fact that the Salsa culture is still valid, “Salsa Cali” is an application oriented to mobile devices, the development of this one was raised to achieve greater dissemination of salsa events in Cali, and contribute a little to that the salsa culture remains in force in a striking way such as a mobile app. It was initially developed for Android mobile devices, a viable medium where development of this type of applications is generally started. It is usable in Smartphone, maintaining usability and aesthetics. Considering the portability, availability and use of mobile Apps, it allows organizers to socialize activities first hand, gives the user the opportunity to consult information about events and places related to salsa events, learn about the history of salsa and songs emblematic Users within the application have access, among other functions, to the creation of a user, information on scheduled events (place, price, public and time), you can also know in advance the details of the site where the event will take place, the people capacity and reservation

The trails and bioparks are free spaces designed for the use of population in physical activities and welfare; however, there is ignorance of the proper use and location of them. GymGo! Cali is a mobile application to promote recreation and sports, contributing in this way to the improvement of the quality of life of the people of Cali. Through interactive components, GymGo! Cali allows locating and knowing the outdoor spaces arranged by the municipality for recreational and sports activities. The application requires user registration, which includes some basic aspects of their physical condition and provides a series of routines appropriate to the body mass index of each user, accompanied by an instruction for the proper use of exercise machines. Additionally, it has a space for social interaction where you can share training routines, create sports groups or simply interact with people who are close to the user. This application will be free to use and accessible to all citizens who have a smart mobile device with Android operating system, regardless of age and socioeconomic limitations, but taking into account that any physical activity that you make using the instructions. This will be under the responsibility of each user and should always be accompanied by good nutrition and hydration to obtain satisfactory results.
Análisis de Riesgo de la Seguridad Informática en la Organización Centro Misionero Bethesda

Nowadays, the used of Information Technologies –IT has an important role in companies, IT assets take on greater value to reach the business objectives, however, threats and vulnerabilities have increased with these technologies implementation, putting on risk the information systems and companies' IT assets, whereby the purpose of this document is to present the evaluation of vulnerabilities in IT infrastructure of the CMB, evidencing the potential threats and presenting a report with the appropriate computer security recommendations based on ISO 27000-1 (Dombora, 2016). To develop the risk analysis, a conference talking about how important is the computer security in CMB was given, then, an Ethical Hacking was realize aiming the evaluation the infrastructure of IT through tools like OWASP y OSSTMM; by last, through surveys, data was collected in information tables based on MAGERIT standards, also a risk processing matrix was done, identifying the IT assents, evaluation and more relevant threats, as well as, the potential loss that can generate each threat and probability of impact; finally, they presented a report in which the absence of the IT department has been evidenced, lack of employees training for computer security and correct use, in addition to vulnerabilities found in the infrastructure of this organization, thus, it's necessary to employ the recommendations that provide ISO 27001 and MEGERIT rules, with the objective of mitigate threats and vulnerabilities, reducing the security incident probability (Sharma, 2018).
La importancia del sistema de gestión de la seguridad de la Información en el comercio electrónico empresarial

The economic opening generated by the globalizing processes has allowed the information systems technology to speed up the commercial, administrative and financial processes of the companies, facilitating payment systems and communication processes with customers, suppliers and employees. However, it is wagered on stage information security as an element of great importance for customers. That is why the information security management systems in electronic commerce, becomes a vital tool for those companies that carry out business by this means, since there are designed policies and strategies that allow to plan reliable commercial systems for users and Internet users In this order of ideas, this paper seeks to identify the arguments that allow demonstrating the need to implement information security systems in companies that conduct electronic commerce, since there are still Colombian companies that in this area are doing business in means of informatic informality, without considering aspects that are essential for their safety and that of their clients.According to the above, the present work was developed in three sections, which begins with a general description of the importance of electronic commerce in companies, since here we seek to contextualize the issue to make it understandable when addressing the main risks facing the sector, an aspect shown in the following section, where the main computer threats that are envisaged in this type of trade are attempted to be put in context. Subsequently, it concludes with a section that recounts the importance of implementing the Information Security Management System in these organizations to offer greater confidence to their clients and interested parties in the commercial activities that are developed in these business models.
TDM: dispositivo educativo para aprendizaje de las tablas de multiplicar en 3ro de primaria caso de estudio: colegio bilingüe san José campestre

Learning the multiplication tables in some elementary school children has always been a pedagogical problem for third grade primary school students. This has motivated several researchers to look for alternatives to find the right solution, this being the aim of the present project. It is proposed to include TIC in the teaching of multiplication tables through a technological tool focused on autonomous and dynamic learning in a didactic and entertaining way; using an interactive web resource that includes a candy dispenser that will reward the good results obtained by motivating children in learning. It is a hardware component, device, and software tailored to the students' taste and to the teachers' requirements to facilitate learning. The TDM device was designed with a layered architecture and uses a controller view model as a design pattern, allowing it to be adaptable to changes, improvements and expansions that are generated over time. The resulting design became an important tool for teaching multiplication tables in the school, being novel and didactic as a methodological system

The Associated Labor Cooperatives (CTA), are defined as “non-profit associative companies, which link the personal work of their associates and their economic contributions for the production of goods, execution of works, or the provision of services in a self-managed way” (Farné, 2008, p, 262). Within the framework of Law 100, they are the means by which independents make contributions to the Comprehensive Social Security System, which is done manually, which generates errors in the individual liquidation of each contributor, such as errors of personal data, double payments for the same user, user payments without receiving the respective advance collection, making user contributions to the wrong EPS and AFP and making payments for greater value or less value. The article consists of the development of an Integral Social Security Management and Administration System for the adequate liquidation of social security contributions called “SISSI” “Information System on Integral Social Security”. The methodology used for the development of “SISSI” is “XP” (Extreme Programming), it is a software development discipline based on simplicity, communication, feedback and continuous refactoring of code, which involves the end and maximum user Group work. Before the implementation of “SISSI” when evaluating 3 companies with a monthly average of 100 affiliated contributors, an average of 13% of errors in individual settlements were presented, generating cost overruns and administrative reprocesses, then reduced the margin of error to 2% in its operations, with a benefit of 92% for the use of the “SISSI”.
Diseño de un prototipo para el Control de Acceso y Seguridad usando IoT

This article presents the prototype design of a system for access control and security using IoT (Internet of Things), taking into account the case study of the Santiago de Cali University laboratory of block 4 floor 3. This design is It consists of a web portal hosted on a web server for administration, two readers, the central and an input module and a web server. The objective was to design a system that allows us to control the entrance and exit of the laboratories through the UUID (universal unique identifier) of the Tag or RFID Card (radio frequency identification), this is consulted from the reader or by the EEPROM memory or in MySQL database. EEPROM memory guarantees the operation of the system, if the reader is not connected to the network to authenticate in the database hosted on the server, the input readers are made with an Arduino card and the central reader with a board Nodemcu; The central reader has nodemcu board and RFID reader, the door reader has an Arduino card, RFID reader, RGB LED, Reset button. The communication of this system is via Wi-Fi, achieving productivity in the execution of the processes. This article will show the operation of the modules connected to the server via Wi-Fi and the input module in the EEPROM, to design the web portal it was necessary to create an Apache server on a Raspberry PI board and, the web portal was programmed with PHP and HTML5, CSS in a Bootstrap 4 Framework to have a Dashboard.

This Project aims to develop a web platform to management of degree projects taking into account the identified need of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Santiago de Cali, as it does not have a control or management of the degree workers developed within the program in terms of process agility, evaluation, systematization and automation; therefore, an analysis of the process and current state of the university is executed, obtaining as a result the need to develop software using artifacts from the agile methodology of development "Scrum" that allows to go directly to the fulfillment of the objectives. To do this, comparative tables are initially exposed in which the main characteristics of each of the models / tools are visible and why the software with which the research is carried out is chosen. It also shows the phases of development executed in the program, the advantages, qualities, contributions and developments that the university can access with the use and implementation of the platform.

Organizations use technology as a solution to improve efficiency and optimize their operational processes. One of its greatest inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement is hidden in the ability to manage and present the data stored in its databases. Mobility in the city of Cali has as one of its axes the integrated mass transport systems, these systems are applied to a series of means of transport, to move people in short times. They are composed of Mio Cable and Mio. This document describes how through the systems of Business Intelligence and the analysis of large volumes of data in the fields of mass public transport, efficiency in data management and analysis can be improved to make better decisions regarding the operation and service provision. The central focus of the work was to consult various academic articles on the aspects of implementation of a Business Intelligence system in the processes and activities of providing the mass transport service and how to improve their competitiveness to make better decisions through analytical reports, strategic and operational dashboards, designed to visualize and transmit the information to the directives of the entity and users that require it.

The use of mobile applications has become part of the daily life of people, in this era where digital transformation is necessary for businesses that want to remain in force, as customers who are digital, use their mobile devices every day to see videos, request food or transportation, listen to music, pay bills, etc. In this article, you can find a comparison of other applications of digital electronic commerce (m-commerce) that has become a new economic mode, especially with the increase in online shopping [9]. The agile Scrum methodology was used to obtain the development of a mobile application prototype for the Mikino Moda Fashion store sales process, in the planning phase, which allows the product owner to have a functional version of the product that adds value.

That companies of telecommunications subcontract persons who vehicles for the mobilization of its personnel and material of work, nevertheless, this situation does not allow to have a strict control on what really it happens with the vehicles and the material. There is proposed then the development of a technological program that tackles the subject-matter of intelligent labor mobility from the perspective of as the mobile programming and the systems of telecommunications, they allow the collection of data in real-time of factors such as: Distance travelled, Location of the mobile and route management. The structure of the application, named GeoLinea, it was developed from two ambiences coherently linked: In first stay and using the Java Programming Language the app was designed in the Android Studio environment. Currently the application is in the test with the staff of the company.

The needs of business and everyday life have asked the information systems are integrable, i.e. an information system can interact with other information systems. In this paper, a particular case of STR Company (Smart Technology for Receiving) was worked. STR is headquartered in Santiago de Cali. STR operates technological transport equipment, between these, collection equipment. The particular case was the manual record of incidents due to equipment failure, which affected the level of service provision. The proposed solution was an automation of the incident registration process by the exchange of data through SOAP Web Service. This implied the development of a software component, which required the solidity of a relational model and the consistency of a class diagram. Also, studying Nagios API and WSDL of OTRS Web Service was necessary. For measuring the impact of the solution, several variables were defined, these variables were fed by the above software component. So, the problem could be quantified and the improvement of the level of service provision could be seen (in terms of time reduction).

Maul Project is the name of a web application that born product of the development of an information system at the service of the communities in Santiago de Cali, that looking to spread and promote the activities carried out by people, leaders, organizations, institutions, foundations, companies and the same communities in the communes of Cali, which boost the entire development of the city and make visible the good practices and projects carried out in and with each community; making a major emphasis on the places where high rates of social problems are presented. The Maul Project application is the prototype of a community information system to manage the information produced in each commune and provide an easy-to-use service that allows the collection of relevant data and at the same time be a means that supports the realization of the aforementioned activities where Everyone can contribute. The development of the application is carried out using free software and following the methodological bases implied by prototype development and extreme programming, as well as frameworks that implement architectures such as the Model Model Controller View (MVC). The tools that were used allowed to build a functional prototype of the proposed system, a web application with adaptive design, in which people can register, learn about communities in the city, as well as sites and events; In addition, registered users have the possibility to create their own events, add new communities and sites. According to the model with which the application was built, other municipalities can be easily included, which allows the project to be scalable

The purpose of a DRaaS solution is to provide efficient and low-cost tools to technology departments based on providing availability to critical services of organizations that may be affected by disaster interruptions; At present, the DRP implementation initiative has a high priority and is a strategic need for companies; The present investigation tries to demonstrate that the implementation of the DRaaS allows to determine the indicators of compliance of the technology, as well as the fulfillment of the objective time of recovery and the objective point of recovery before incidents or catastrophes. A research methodology built from the measurement of the application availability indicator at critical time is implemented; Based on the analysis of the current state of the technological infrastructure, inventory of servers and critical services for BackOffice processes, evaluation of supplier proposals and cost evaluation of a DRaaS solution compared to a traditional DRP solution. Once the previous data has been collected, the risk assessment and the business impact analysis are carried out. The technical requirements that must be implemented in the DRaaS solution will be evaluated in order to meet the efficient operation of IT services. Finally, the implementation of the DRaaS generates significant savings in the renovation plan of the technological infrastructure equipment for the organization, as well as a model oriented towards the fulfillment of the strategic indicators.
Auditoria de TI Basada en estándares mínimos de COBIT 2019: Caso de Estudio Empresa de Servicios del Valle del Cauca

An Audit is an evaluation of a specific area of an organization with the objective of knowing the veracity of the results and generate useful indicators to improve the processes of a company. The audit is specialized according to the area and disciplines; in the case of IT audits, they are responsible for conducting a review of IT resources in order to identify the situation in which they are developed based on current regulations. They are classified in internal and external audits; however, this kind of audit is characterized by the implementation of an information governance framework with the aim of facilitating the information management process and reliability to generate a clear methodology. COBIT, 2019 is then proposed as the most recent version of the Framework for users, administrators and auditors of information systems, regulating good practices, providing standards for the compliance of information and communication processes are part of the most widely used control methodologies at the international level exposed by the Information Systems Security Association (ISSAI). This article presents the results of the evaluation of the company's IT control environment in order to measure the security of the applications and identify improvement options that allow optimizing processes, controls and security in general in the technology area. The audit was conducted according to best market practices; and the reference framework for Government and IT Management: COBIT 2019, with the objective of evaluating compliance with the minimum standards implemented in the company, also exposes the results of meetings, the process of compilation and validation of supports, the findings found during the generation of the report of recommendations according to the methodology implemented.
Diseño e implementación de un dispensador remoto de alimento y agua para perros en la plataforma Arduino

This project aims to ensure the feeding of our dogs, through a mobile device that remotely controls a dispenser, supplying water and food regularly according to the need. It has a food capacity corresponding to 3kg, the water is provided by the house by connecting the device to a tap and will be controlled by the user according to the need of the can, these specifications give us autonomy for 2 days of food supplies if the dog is of medium race. The project is executed under the cascade model, guaranteeing an orderly and sequential approach, rigorously following each of its stages. The device provides total freedom and tranquility to the owners of the dog allowing them to feed at a distance for several days, ensuring adequate nutrition and welfare of the pet with a product that is easy to use, provides services and is friendly to the environment his composition.
