Automatización robótica de proceso, aplicada al proceso de cierre de seguros soat usando automation anywhere enterprise

In the present work, the development of a robotic process automation for the improvement of the Closing process will be presented, in which the total registered daily sales of Compulsory Insurance for vehicles that were loaded to the CSIS systems in the Morning Hours are concluded, which is made up of a routine that is executed daily, which can be executed on demand or programmed to be executed automatically, in the private company's service area. In addition, to perform automation, a robotic process automation (RPA) tool, called Automation Anywhere Enterprise (AAE), is used. Also, to determine the results of this process with the proposed technology, the concepts that cover this automation technology, the Cascade methodology and analysis that were applied for the development and implementation will be presented in order to obtain the best cycle time of the process and minimize errors by validation and manual information registration

The activity of associate task to the employees of a company or human resource allocation, for organizations that base their operation on projects, could be more agile if their having tools that allows centralize the information, to get access to the information to a practice way, getting that the management of the allocation of the resources be optimal and become efficient during the execution of the required projects. It is proposed then, the development of a software tool that allow make the assignment of the human resource to the projects, having in a count the capabilities or knowledges of the staff, getting too a control of the times and activities, to finally get an adequate management of the human resource assignment to the projects. Through the application of the prototype methodology, is achieve systematize the assignment of the engineering and technical human resource, to the projects of the Spectra Ingeniería Ltda. company, obtaining as a result an application that allow give fluidity to the process of the personal assignment. The tests performed on the application through the management of 25 projects, including the respective assignment of activities and personnel to each one, produced the expected results during the investigation. The development of the application allowed to identify additional processes that affect the times of the projects and that could be included as modules that will offer development improvements

Currently the most efficient and safe way to have control and record large volumes of diagnostic images that are performed in a health institution is through a picture archiving and communication system known as PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System). Being this a system that is supported in the technological infrastructures, it is necessary to have procedures that allow to continue the normal flow of the operation of the service, preventing or mitigating the adverse events that may occur and also allowing a recovery of the normal state of the operation. These procedures will be consigned in a continuity plan that will be designed based on some of the subprocesses of Risk Management and Continuity Management, both processes from Service Design from ITIL V3. Under this methodology, the risks were evaluated according to their level of impact and probability of occurrence, achieving to develop a more concise plan focused on the containment, management and recovery of an adverse event.

That companies of telecommunications subcontract persons who vehicles for the mobilization of its personnel and material of work, nevertheless, this situation does not allow to have a strict control on what really it happens with the vehicles and the material. There is proposed then the development of a technological program that tackles the subject-matter of intelligent labor mobility from the perspective of as the mobile programming and the systems of telecommunications, they allow the collection of data in real-time of factors such as: Distance travelled, Location of the mobile and route management. The structure of the application, named GeoLinea, it was developed from two ambiences coherently linked: In first stay and using the Java Programming Language the app was designed in the Android Studio environment. Currently the application is in the test with the staff of the company.
Desarrollo de un aplicativo web, mediante metodología Scrum para la gestión y control de eventos relacionados en la Universidad Santiago de Cali

En el presente documento se explica el diseño e implementación de una aplicación para dispositivos móviles que apoya la gestión de eventos realizados en la universidad Santiago de Cali., La principal motivación de este proyecto es la automatización , control y poder permitir mejorar la experiencia y seguridad de la totalidad de los asistentes a los eventos realizados en la universidad, principalmente los eventos de ceremonias de grado ya que los asistentes a estos no solamente son estudiantes si no también personas externas a la universidad que deben estar seguros en las instalaciones y adicionalmente llevarse una buena imagen corporativa después de asistir a los eventos. Esta iniciativa nace de la necesidad de la Secretaría General y contó con el apoyo, asesoría y mano de obra de la facultad de Ingeniería y del programa de Ingeniería de sistemas con el fin de automatizar procesos a través de sistemas de información reduciendo los altos niveles de complejidad y demanda de grandes cantidades de tiempo y esfuerzo administrativo por mantener la gestión. La aplicación se desarrolló con la metodología Scrum y el diseño es Web responsive lo que quiere decir que su interfaz es adaptativa a cualquier dispositivo móvil, tiene una interfaz intuitiva y fácil de manejar, La primera fase de la implementación de la aplicación se realiza para la gestión de eventos a las ceremonias de grado. Se podrá crear el evento con los estudiantes asociados por facultad, el horario y generar la cantidad de invitación por estudiante asociado a un código de QR que permitirá mantener el control y seguridad de los asistentes a las ceremonias.

The needs of business and everyday life have asked the information systems are integrable, i.e. an information system can interact with other information systems. In this paper, a particular case of STR Company (Smart Technology for Receiving) was worked. STR is headquartered in Santiago de Cali. STR operates technological transport equipment, between these, collection equipment. The particular case was the manual record of incidents due to equipment failure, which affected the level of service provision. The proposed solution was an automation of the incident registration process by the exchange of data through SOAP Web Service. This implied the development of a software component, which required the solidity of a relational model and the consistency of a class diagram. Also, studying Nagios API and WSDL of OTRS Web Service was necessary. For measuring the impact of the solution, several variables were defined, these variables were fed by the above software component. So, the problem could be quantified and the improvement of the level of service provision could be seen (in terms of time reduction).
Maul project - una plataforma para promover las dinámicas de las comunas de la ciudad

Maul Project is the name of a web application that born product of the development of an information system at the service of the communities in Santiago de Cali, that looking to spread and promote the activities carried out by people, leaders, organizations, institutions, foundations, companies and the same communities in the communes of Cali, which boost the entire development of the city and make visible the good practices and projects carried out in and with each community; making a major emphasis on the places where high rates of social problems are presented. The Maul Project application is the prototype of a community information system to manage the information produced in each commune and provide an easy-to-use service that allows the collection of relevant data and at the same time be a means that supports the realization of the aforementioned activities where Everyone can contribute. The development of the application is carried out using free software and following the methodological bases implied by prototype development and extreme programming, as well as frameworks that implement architectures such as the Model Model Controller View (MVC). The tools that were used allowed to build a functional prototype of the proposed system, a web application with adaptive design, in which people can register, learn about communities in the city, as well as sites and events; In addition, registered users have the possibility to create their own events, add new communities and sites. According to the model with which the application was built, other municipalities can be easily included, which allows the project to be scalable

The purpose of a DRaaS solution is to provide efficient and low-cost tools to technology departments based on providing availability to critical services of organizations that may be affected by disaster interruptions; At present, the DRP implementation initiative has a high priority and is a strategic need for companies; The present investigation tries to demonstrate that the implementation of the DRaaS allows to determine the indicators of compliance of the technology, as well as the fulfillment of the objective time of recovery and the objective point of recovery before incidents or catastrophes. A research methodology built from the measurement of the application availability indicator at critical time is implemented; Based on the analysis of the current state of the technological infrastructure, inventory of servers and critical services for BackOffice processes, evaluation of supplier proposals and cost evaluation of a DRaaS solution compared to a traditional DRP solution. Once the previous data has been collected, the risk assessment and the business impact analysis are carried out. The technical requirements that must be implemented in the DRaaS solution will be evaluated in order to meet the efficient operation of IT services. Finally, the implementation of the DRaaS generates significant savings in the renovation plan of the technological infrastructure equipment for the organization, as well as a model oriented towards the fulfillment of the strategic indicators.
Nutricom: aplicación que recomienda alimentos saludables a partir de reconocimiento de alimentos en imágenes para evitar enfermedades

The poor nutrition and feeding has become one of the great problems of modern life, causing a number of diseases and accelerating the transformation process. It is proposed to solve the problem with the implementation of a mobile application, based on artificial intelligence, which employs visual recognition of images suggested food intake or not, according to the user's profile including diseases, eating habits. The objective of the project was to classify the foods present in an image and calculate their caloric value to suggest healthy and nutritious foods. The methodology used was in cascade or life cycle, since it is the most common and oldest software development, and is widely used. The NUTRICOM mobile application can be integrated with the Watson API, visual recognition of food images, taking advantage of its ability to recognize more than 2,000 foods and "train" with it. Through the application, people can learn to eat well according to their profile. In conclusion, it can be said that for the visual image recognition API to have a correct operation, you must carry out a training or learning of at least 50 images per food

Cali is internationally recognized as the world capital of salsa, however, despite this recognition, this musical genre has lost strength in the city. There are currently many people who are unaware of the cultural, social and economic value that salsa represents for Cali as well as all the development and evolution that this musical genre has had in the city. The emergence of new musical rhythms such as merengue, bachata and reggaeton, salsa in Cali has been overshadowed: through contact with youth it results in many young people not considering or not seeing in the sauce more than just one more genre, or even not important to attend such events. In order to carry out this research, the problem was studied based on the analysis of real and direct data (collecting user opinions) and some believe that this fact has degenerated the salsa identity and this has happened in the background. In order to contribute a little to the fact that the Salsa culture is still valid, “Salsa Cali” is an application oriented to mobile devices, the development of this one was raised to achieve greater dissemination of salsa events in Cali, and contribute a little to that the salsa culture remains in force in a striking way such as a mobile app. It was initially developed for Android mobile devices, a viable medium where development of this type of applications is generally started. It is usable in Smartphone, maintaining usability and aesthetics. The trails and bioparks are free spaces designed for the use of population in physical activities and welfare; however, there is ignorance of the proper use and location of them. GymGo! Cali is a mobile application to promote recreation and sports, contributing in this way to the improvement of the quality of life of the people of Cali. Through interactive components, GymGo! Cali allows locating and knowing the outdoor spaces arranged by the municipality for recreational and sports activities. The application requires user registration, which includes some basic aspects of their physical condition and provides a series of routines appropriate to the body mass index of each user, accompanied by an instruction for the proper use of exercise machines. Additionally, it has a space for social interaction where you can share training routines, create sports groups or simply interact with people who are close to the user. This application will be free to use and accessible to all citizens who have a smart mobile device with Android operating system, regardless of age and socioeconomic limitations, but taking into account that any physical activity that you make using the instructions. This will be under the responsibility of each user and should always be accompanied by good nutrition and hydration to obtain satisfactory results.
Estado de implementación de la ley de protección de datos en 100 empresas representativas de los sectores público y privado de Cali

Currently, due to the technological era, information has become a very important asset for companies due to the benefits that can be obtained from its analysis, due to the large amount of personal, private and sensitive data that may affect the fundamental rights of people, the governments of the world have taken the initiative to create laws aimed at protecting this information, known as the data protection law. In this article we will talk about the data protection law of Colombia (Law 1581 of 2012) and about the state of its implementation in 100 representative companies of the city of Cali, from which it was concluded that 82% of the sample complies with the implementation of this law, demonstrating a considerable implementation regarding the data protection law on the representative sample taken from Cali, Colombia

One of the main disadvantages for Micro-entrepreneurs is not having a tool that allows them to keep themselves well informed about the fundamental activities of their business in a timely manner, which allows them to make sound decisions that add value to their business. The purpose of this article is to present the analysis and design of an integrated web information system coupled with a mobile application for an application (APP) cell phone and tablet compatible which will allow the entrepreneur to manage, track and control information in real time (24/7); providing management indicators for decision making. To achieve these results, an agile methodology of Scrum projects was used through the process of collecting information pertaining to the needs and new ideas of the small companies, which then was used to design the system. This will ensure that micro-entrepreneurs have immediate access to minute-by-minute information of all critical processes, decrease loss of sales when viewing products to replace, or existing in warehouse, to exercise control over existing inventories, increase sales closing rates through managing potential customer’s point of contact, in addition to having a powerful tool to generate proper reports and queries of vital information of the company
Aplicación del internet de las cosas (IoT) en la gestión de almacenes - una revisión de nuevas propuestas

The Internet of Things (IoT) is a key concept of the fourth industrial revolution and is considered one of the most promising areas for controlling and improving supply chain performance. This manuscript is an exploration of new proposals for Internet of Things applications in warehouse management over the past five years. A review of the academic literature published between 2015 and 2019 was conducted, with the goal of providing a full description of the cumulative state of research on this topic. Warehousing operations were investigated in the context of five main functions: reception, storage, picking, packing, and shipping. Contributions associated with the use of radio frequency identification (RFID) in reception operations and the use and integration of the Warehouse Management System (WMS) for the support of storage activities and optimization of safety conditions and product profiling are noteworthy. Also, proposals related to Automated Guided Vehicle (AVG) and database management systems to minimize search, travel time, and to avoid picking errors, design of automated packaging systems for packing operations, and a tracking system for the delivery of goods in shipping operations, are highlighted as well. Finally, this synthesis reveals that these types of proposals continue to be a topic of interest in research concerning supply chain management, offering reliable bibliographic support that can be used as a starting point in the consultation and formulation of new initiatives for future researchers or professionals in this field.
Sistema experto como propuesta de mejora orientado al diagnóstico y reducción de problemas de software y hardware que se presenten en la Cooperativa de Loteros

Generally, small businesses do not have a technology department that addresses software or hardware problems, causing loss of business continuity; since, having no internal technical support, it takes too long to solve or mitigate these failures. This article presents the implementation of an expert system for the diagnosis and reduction of software and hardware problems in the Cooperativa de Loteros. The use of the Systemap is intuitive and the proposed solutions are conceived from technical support at home to a business technical level. The Buchanan methodology was used to build the system, its phases are: problem selection, construction model, formalization and implementation. The proposed system contains knowledge, information and experiences of the provider that provides the technological devices to the company, to make the diagnostic process efficient and provide solutions. The expert system is integrated into the way small businesses operate, facilitating the identification of problems and the formulation of strategies to reduce the problems that arise, in addition to mitigating the costs associated with specialized external consultancies.
La importancia del sistema de gestión de la seguridad de la Información en el comercio electrónico empresarial

The economic opening generated by the globalizing processes has allowed the information systems technology to speed up the commercial, administrative and financial processes of the companies, facilitating payment systems and communication processes with customers, suppliers and employees. However, it is wagered on stage information security as an element of great importance for customers. That is why the information security management systems in electronic commerce, becomes a vital tool for those companies that carry out business by this means, since there are designed policies and strategies that allow to plan reliable commercial systems for users and Internet users In this order of ideas, this paper seeks to identify the arguments that allow demonstrating the need to implement information security systems in companies that conduct electronic commerce, since there are still Colombian companies that in this area are doing business in means of informatic informality, without considering aspects that are essential for their safety and that of their clients.According to the above, the present work was developed in three sections, which begins with a general description of the importance of electronic commerce in companies, since here we seek to contextualize the issue to make it understandable when addressing the main risks facing the sector, an aspect shown in the following section, where the main computer threats that are envisaged in this type of trade are attempted to be put in context. Subsequently, it concludes with a section that recounts the importance of implementing the Information Security Management System in these organizations to offer greater confidence to their clients and interested parties in the commercial activities that are developed in these business models.
Desarrollo del sistema de Información de registro y control para programas de Comunicación Infantil y Adulto Mayor de Bienestar Universitario de la Universidad Santiago de Cali

The Ministry of National Education, Law 30 of 1992, requires that higher education institutions carry out university welfare programs. The Santiago de Cali University has an area of University Welfare that manages the Comunidad Infantil and Adulto Mayor programs. These programs have a manual data collection method, which implies greater operational load and exposure to information error. For this reason, decide to build the module "Gestión de Programas" that integrates the research project "Sistematización de los procesos de Bienestar Universitario de la Universidad Santiago de Cali" since it is based on a modular programming paradigm. For the construction of this module, the requirements must be analyzed, modeled a database and built a web application that allows the execution of the registration and control processes. The Scrum methodology and the AUP methodology are selected as they provide advantages in relation to time - quality; the technique of interviewing the client is used to take requirements. The construction is carried out in a total of 12 iterations, and the integration of the modules was handled through the GIT version control tool. The user validation modules and creation of courses previously built in the research project were coupled. The information is stored in the database that contains the integral and centralized information. With the proposed solution it is possible to systematize the key processes for the programs.
TDM: dispositivo educativo para aprendizaje de las tablas de multiplicar en 3ro de primaria caso de estudio: colegio bilingüe san José campestre

Learning the multiplication tables in some elementary school children has always been a pedagogical problem for third grade primary school students. This has motivated several researchers to look for alternatives to find the right solution, this being the aim of the present project. It is proposed to include TIC in the teaching of multiplication tables through a technological tool focused on autonomous and dynamic learning in a didactic and entertaining way; using an interactive web resource that includes a candy dispenser that will reward the good results obtained by motivating children in learning. It is a hardware component, device, and software tailored to the students' taste and to the teachers' requirements to facilitate learning. The TDM device was designed with a layered architecture and uses a controller view model as a design pattern, allowing it to be adaptable to changes, improvements and expansions that are generated over time. The resulting design became an important tool for teaching multiplication tables in the school, being novel and didactic as a methodological system
Software de gestión administrativa de seguridad social para cooperativas de trabajo asociados y empresas afines

The Associated Labor Cooperatives (CTA), are defined as “non-profit associative companies, which link the personal work of their associates and their economic contributions for the production of goods, execution of works, or the provision of services in a self-managed way” (Farné, 2008, p, 262). Within the framework of Law 100, they are the means by which independents make contributions to the Comprehensive Social Security System, which is done manually, which generates errors in the individual liquidation of each contributor, such as errors of personal data, double payments for the same user, user payments without receiving the respective advance collection, making user contributions to the wrong EPS and AFP and making payments for greater value or less value. The article consists of the development of an Integral Social Security Management and Administration System for the adequate liquidation of social security contributions called “SISSI” “Information System on Integral Social Security”. The methodology used for the development of “SISSI” is “XP” (Extreme Programming), it is a software development discipline based on simplicity, communication, feedback and continuous refactoring of code, which involves the end and maximum user Group work. Before the implementation of “SISSI” when evaluating 3 companies with a monthly average of 100 affiliated contributors, an average of 13% of errors in individual settlements were presented, generating cost overruns and administrative reprocesses, then reduced the margin of error to 2% in its operations, with a benefit of 92% for the use of the “SISSI”.
