This article analyzes the physiological effects and benefits of high-intensity interval training (HIIT)in university futsal players, based on a recent systematic review. The impacts of HIIT are analyzed on variables such as maximum VO2, anaerobic threshold, muscular adaptations and performance in specific futsal tests. In conclusion, it was found that the benefits of hiit in futsala are the improvement of Vo2 max, similarity with the demands of the game, it helps to improve the anaerobic threshold and also helps in physical recovery for short periods of time.Item Análisis del impacto del entrenamiento de fuerza en el rendimiento deportivo en los jugadores de rugby(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2024-07-27) Moreno Leal, Angie; Hurtado Ramirez, Jhonier Alexis; Rivera Hurtado, FerneyRugby is a sport discipline that requires a unique combination of physical capabilities, within this context, strength training is crucial to improve players' performance. This article analyzes the impact of strength training on the athletic performance of young adult male rugby players, highlighting its importance and benefits. Strength training not only improves physical capacity, but also prevents injuries, increases explosive power and optimizes muscular endurance. In addition, different strength training techniques and programs used in high performance sports are investigated and how they translate into improved performance in competitions. The physiological adaptations derived from strength training increase muscle mass, improve power and the ability to perform explosive movements, which is fundamental in rugby. In addition, proprioception training improves stability, balance and strength, decreasing the risk of injury during the intense physical contacts of the game. In conclusion, the impact of strength training in male rugby players on sporting performance lies in improving the sporting health of each player, correcting asymmetrical characteristics and increasing vertical and horizontal power profiles.Item Analyse d’erreurs des apprenants de la licence en langues étrangeres de l’université Santiago de Cali aux niveaux élémentaire et intermédiaire de français : Les adjectifs possessifs(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Cortez Loaiza, Hanny Natalia; Montenegro Palacios, Hector Lubian; Espinosa González, Lina MaríaThis research presents an error analysis of Colombian students who study French as Foreign Language (FLE). His most recent research indicates that students have entered the first semester in the area of fundamental mathematics within the university and its impact on failure and university dropout. Based on this, the University of Santiago de Cali (USC) has launched an institutional program called PIPE (Institutional Program for Student Permanence) whose central purpose is the dropout rate and improve the academic performance of students through transversal strategies to the USC. Conscientiously, the present research project works with the students prior to entering the university, that is, the students during the school period and the monitoring of the construction and management of algorithms, the statistics of mental calculation, using the virtual technological tools as a measure of accompaniment and didactic help to obtain its purpose: to raise the degree of mathematical cognition of the studentsItem Aprendizaje de la clonación desde una perspectiva socio-científica(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Rubio Trochez, Daniela; Izquierdo Vargas, Jerry Johan; Muñoz Ríos, Karen Patricia; Leal Castro, AlejandroTwelve students from Santiago de Cali University participated in interviews and activities to explore their previous ideas, reactions and feelings regarding the situations posed: 1) cloning of cells to produce them, 2) use of transgenics in the home, and 3 ) the use of gene therapy to help infertile couples. From the initial sample of these twelve students, three were selected to be the subject of this study. The data were analyzed qualitatively to characterize in an emergent way the moral tasks recognized by each participant, in order to explore the degree to which university students interpret the relationships with gene therapy and cloning, through a socio-scientific approach that influences its decisions in this regard and encourages moral reasoning. The students expressed sensitivity to the moral aspects such as concern and empathy for the well-being of others, an aversion to the alteration of the natural consequences of the order and an emotionality linked to their decisions. Upon reaching the final phase, many participants integrated their moral concerns with religious, cultural, emotional and scientific factors, which show that the patterns of moral concern in the evaluated students act hand in hand with the table of categories proposed for the analysis of this work, since it influences socio-scientific decision-making. The students demonstrate the lack of an argumented discourse that supports their position, a fact that puts into the manifesto the teaching provided by the University and the students of Natural Sciences and Environmental EducationItem El arte pictórico moderno en argentina como formador de nación durante la primera mitad del siglo XIX(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2020) Palta Flaker, Deiner Andrés; Cuevas Arenas, HéctorItem Aspects qui influencent le développement de la production orale en monologue suivi, niveau b1, des étudiants en 7ème semestre de la licence en langues étrangères de l'université Santiago de Cali(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Alvarado Herrera, Brigitte; Ospina Díaz, Erick Fernando; Hurtado Cabezas, Néstor Dario; Pedroza Mazuera, Andrés FelipeFour objectives will guide this research. It is also important to take account with this research, we will find the difficulties in the field of oral expression (monologue followed, level B1) among the pupils in seventh semester. In order to achieve our goals, we followed three data collection instruments. First, non-participatory observations on a sample. These observations will allow us to identify the course flow and the activities carried out and to know the use of the target language and the mother tongue. Second, surveys will be completed by the students in the sample. They aim to extract factors that influence their learning of French either positively or negatively. Finally, we will make a diagnosis (DELF B1), which will allow us to know the real level of the students considering the descriptors proposed by the CEFR. Every student dream of speaking a foreign language well. In the seventh semester, they must have level B1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).Item Beneficios de Aquazumba como Terapia Rehabilitadora para la Artritis en Adultos Mayores(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2023-06-21) Ortiz, David Fernando; Paz, Carlos David; Beltrán, Sol PatriciaFaced with the scarce scientific literature published in relation to the benefits of aquazumba as a rehabilitative therapy for arthritis in older adults, therefore, the objective of this research is to analyze the benefits of conducting aquazumba classes in the rehabilitation of arthritis. in older adults.
