Item Acoso Escolar y Construcción de Paz en el Aula de Clases(2021) Palacios Murillo, Carolina; Giraldo, Luz Karime (Directora)This article will address bullying and Peacebuilding as the thematic axis. Due to this, it was analyzed what is the impact within the classroom when bullying behaviors are experienced. Bullying is a problem that is specifically evident among students, where there is an abuse of power and roles of harasser and harassed are generated. However, this problem cannot be isolated from family, psychological and social structures. When those behaviors of physical and verbal violence are presented against students, they generate a negative transformation of the school environment as a “safe” place. The objective of this study is to analyze how sociodemographic factors influence the practice of physical activity among adolescents in Latin America. Physical activity during adolescence is essential for healthy development and the prevention of chronic diseases in the future. The objective of this article is to analyze the factors related to the practice of exercise in people who attend the gym in the city of Cali, Colombia. The purpose of this analysis is to know the reasons that influence the physical activity of gym users. Adherence to physical exercise in gyms is a constant challenge for fitness professionals and users. Despite good intentions, many abandon their routines before reaching their goals. Adherence to fitness in the gym is influenced by several interrelated factors, including motivation, health, aesthetics, and use of leisure time. Understanding and addressing these factors holistically allows gyms to design customized programs that encourage greater adherence and thereby promote a more active and healthy lifestyle.Item Análisis del efecto del entrenamiento HIIT en la condición aeróbica de los jugadores universitarios de futsal(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2024-07-27) Bolaños Sevillano, Harold Eduardo; Valencia Candelo, Anny Yassel; Montero Villalba, Carlos Andres; Rivera Hurtado, FerneyVarious forms of high intensity interval training (HIIT) or High Intensity Interval Training are periodically used as specific interventions to improve physiological capabilities in futsal players (Wahl, 2014; Arazi 2017). This article analyzes the physiological effects and benefits of high-intensity interval training (HIIT)in university futsal players, based on a recent systematic review. The impacts of HIIT are analyzed on variables such as maximum VO2, anaerobic threshold, muscular adaptations and performance in specific futsal tests. In conclusion, it was found that the benefits of hiit in futsala are the improvement of Vo2 max, similarity with the demands of the game, it helps to improve the anaerobic threshold and also helps in physical recovery for short periods of time.Item Analisis del impacto de la calidad educativa impartida a los niños, niñas y jóvenes Colombia(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2021) Bucheli Galeano, Daniela; Aguilera, Kelly Steffany; Sepúlveda Henao, Dana Carolina; Giraldo, Luz KarimeItem Análisis del impacto del entrenamiento de fuerza en el rendimiento deportivo en los jugadores de rugby(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2024-07-27) Moreno Leal, Angie; Hurtado Ramirez, Jhonier Alexis; Rivera Hurtado, FerneyRugby is a sport discipline that requires a unique combination of physical capabilities, within this context, strength training is crucial to improve players' performance. This article analyzes the impact of strength training on the athletic performance of young adult male rugby players, highlighting its importance and benefits. Strength training not only improves physical capacity, but also prevents injuries, increases explosive power and optimizes muscular endurance. In addition, different strength training techniques and programs used in high performance sports are investigated and how they translate into improved performance in competitions. The physiological adaptations derived from strength training increase muscle mass, improve power and the ability to perform explosive movements, which is fundamental in rugby. In addition, proprioception training improves stability, balance and strength, decreasing the risk of injury during the intense physical contacts of the game. In conclusion, the impact of strength training in male rugby players on sporting performance lies in improving the sporting health of each player, correcting asymmetrical characteristics and increasing vertical and horizontal power profiles.Item Análisis documental sobre la incorporación de ejes temáticos en educación ambiental en proyectos ambientales de instituciones educativas en 3 países latinoamericanos y la ciudad de cali, colombia(2021-02-22) Botina Velez, Heidy Paola; Chara Lucumi, John Edinson; Guagua Sanchez, Sandra Milena; Guevara Fletcher, Carlos Eduardo (Director)This study pretend to know the proposals for the incorporation of Environmental Education in educational institutions in Chile, Ecuador, Mexico and Cali, Colombia. The research under a mixed approach through the collection and analysis of information in primary and secondary sources databases consulted online were developed. The environmental proposals included into the Institutional Educational Project were evident. In addition, the participation of the educational community in each country was notorious. However, the countries used different name to call those projects. The evaluation of the inclusion of Environmental Projects, in Cali Colombia, the proposals and its incorporation followed the same steps that the other countries. For School from Cali, the Environmental Education is important inside the institutional educational project because integrate this topic in the entire academic areas and the institutions curricula. The error analysis focuses on possessive adjectives. The main objective is to determinate the most frequent errors related to possessive adjectives in written production made by Bachelor’s Degree in Foreign Languages students from Santiago de Cali University at basic and intermediary levels of French. The theoretical framework develops mainly the following concepts: Applied Linguistics (Santos Gargallo, 1999), Contrastive Linguistics (Lado, 1957), Contrastive Analysis (Fries, 1945), Error Analysis (Corder, 1967), Interlanguage (Selinker, 1972) and Contrastive Grammar (Ciesielkiewicz, 2010/2011). This research follows the methodology proposed by Corder (1967) in order to describe and explain the errors found. His most recent research indicates that students have entered the first semester in the area of fundamental mathematics within the university and its impact on failure and university dropout. Based on this, the University of Santiago de Cali (USC) has launched an institutional program called PIPE (Institutional Program for Student Permanence) whose central purpose is the dropout rate and improve the academic performance of students through transversal strategies to the USC. In this way, through the collection and analysis of different educational experiences before and during the pandemic, the design of a pedagogical proposal begins, and the management of ONLINE platforms can be implemented in classrooms, emerging as an innovative alternative to virtuality and allowing teachers to take advantage of the benefits of these interactive tools in the use of ICTs.Item Aprendizaje de la clonación desde una perspectiva socio-científica(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Rubio Trochez, Daniela; Izquierdo Vargas, Jerry Johan; Muñoz Ríos, Karen Patricia; Leal Castro, AlejandroTwelve students from Santiago de Cali University participated in interviews and activities to explore their previous ideas, reactions and feelings regarding the situations posed: 1) cloning of cells to produce them, 2) use of transgenics in the home, and 3 ) the use of gene therapy to help infertile couples. From the initial sample of these twelve students, three were selected to be the subject of this study. The data were analyzed qualitatively to characterize in an emergent way the moral tasks recognized by each participant, in order to explore the degree to which university students interpret the relationships with gene therapy and cloning, through a socio-scientific approach that influences its decisions in this regard and encourages moral reasoning. The students expressed sensitivity to the moral aspects such as concern and empathy for the well-being of others, an aversion to the alteration of the natural consequences of the order and an emotionality linked to their decisions. Upon reaching the final phase, many participants integrated their moral concerns with religious, cultural, emotional and scientific factors, which show that the patterns of moral concern in the evaluated students act hand in hand with the table of categories proposed for the analysis of this work, since it influences socio-scientific decision-making. It also focuses specifically on the teaching of the English language to correctly implement ICT in the linguistic skills of speaking, listening, reading, and writing, considering specific aspects for the correct use and implementation of teaching method innovations in bilingual education. There is a section with recommendations for digital tools useful for the development of the four aforementioned skills. Parkinson de Saz Theory and techniques of translation, where she gives an account of her position with respect to the theories and techniques of translation. She elucidates terms already known but from his own approach, which in his opinion is different. She also investigates the position that culture occupies to point to translation in the present, with its view on the techniques used from the proposals of some universities. And finally she lands on possible defects and lexical problems of literary translations by showing some hypotheses that have appeared under the scrutiny of critics. She ensures that her intention is only to draw attention to the complexity of the task, as she herself calls her work.
