The error analysis focuses on possessive adjectives. The main objective is to determinate the most frequent errors related to possessive adjectives in written production made by Bachelor’s Degree in Foreign Languages students from Santiago de Cali University at basic and intermediary levels of French. The theoretical framework develops mainly the following concepts: Applied Linguistics (Santos Gargallo, 1999), Contrastive Linguistics (Lado, 1957), Contrastive Analysis (Fries, 1945), Error Analysis (Corder, 1967), Interlanguage (Selinker, 1972) and Contrastive Grammar (Ciesielkiewicz, 2010/2011). This research follows the methodology proposed by Corder (1967) in order to describe and explain the errors found. This work seeks to bring awareness to the aspects that favour the emergence of errors and to consider contrastive linguistics as a tool for improving the foreign language learning.Item Aplicación de algoritmos en el cálculo mental y las operaciones básicas utilizando modelos virtuales que posibiliten el desarrollo progresivo del sentido numérico(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Ferraro Rodríguez, Michelle Dayana; Ruiz Naranjo, Eliana Jazmín; Castellanos Acosta, Cesar Augusto; Paz Samudio, AlfonsoThe present work is based on studies about the construction of fundamental mathematical concepts using virtual models, carried out by Dr. Alfonso Paz Samudio. His most recent research indicates that students have entered the first semester in the area of fundamental mathematics within the university and its impact on failure and university dropout. Based on this, the University of Santiago de Cali (USC) has launched an institutional program called PIPE (Institutional Program for Student Permanence) whose central purpose is the dropout rate and improve the academic performance of students through transversal strategies to the USC. Conscientiously, the present research project works with the students prior to entering the university, that is, the students during the school period and the monitoring of the construction and management of algorithms, the statistics of mental calculation, using the virtual technological tools as a measure of accompaniment and didactic help to obtain its purpose: to raise the degree of mathematical cognition of the studentsItem Aprendizaje de la clonación desde una perspectiva socio-científica(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Rubio Trochez, Daniela; Izquierdo Vargas, Jerry Johan; Muñoz Ríos, Karen Patricia; Leal Castro, AlejandroTwelve students from Santiago de Cali University participated in interviews and activities to explore their previous ideas, reactions and feelings regarding the situations posed: 1) cloning of cells to produce them, 2) use of transgenics in the home, and 3 ) the use of gene therapy to help infertile couples. From the initial sample of these twelve students, three were selected to be the subject of this study. The data were analyzed qualitatively to characterize in an emergent way the moral tasks recognized by each participant, in order to explore the degree to which university students interpret the relationships with gene therapy and cloning, through a socio-scientific approach that influences its decisions in this regard and encourages moral reasoning. The students expressed sensitivity to the moral aspects such as concern and empathy for the well-being of others, an aversion to the alteration of the natural consequences of the order and an emotionality linked to their decisions. Upon reaching the final phase, many participants integrated their moral concerns with religious, cultural, emotional and scientific factors, which show that the patterns of moral concern in the evaluated students act hand in hand with the table of categories proposed for the analysis of this work, since it influences socio-scientific decision-making. The students demonstrate the lack of an argumented discourse that supports their position, a fact that puts into the manifesto the teaching provided by the University and the students of Natural Sciences and Environmental EducationItem El arte pictórico moderno en argentina como formador de nación durante la primera mitad del siglo XIX(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2020) Palta Flaker, Deiner Andrés; Cuevas Arenas, HéctorItem Aspects qui influencent le développement de la production orale en monologue suivi, niveau b1, des étudiants en 7ème semestre de la licence en langues étrangères de l'université Santiago de Cali(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Alvarado Herrera, Brigitte; Ospina Díaz, Erick Fernando; Hurtado Cabezas, Néstor Dario; Pedroza Mazuera, Andrés FelipeFour objectives will guide this research. These aim to fulfill the main objective of the work, which is to identify the aspects that influence the development of oral production in monologue level b1, of the 7th semester students of the degree in foreign languages of Santiago University from Cali. It is also important to take account with this research, we will find the difficulties in the field of oral expression (monologue followed, level B1) among the pupils in seventh semester. In order to achieve our goals, we followed three data collection instruments. First, non-participatory observations on a sample. These observations will allow us to identify the course flow and the activities carried out and to know the use of the target language and the mother tongue. Second, surveys will be completed by the students in the sample. They aim to extract factors that influence their learning of French either positively or negatively. Finally, we will make a diagnosis (DELF B1), which will allow us to know the real level of the students considering the descriptors proposed by the CEFR. Every student dream of speaking a foreign language well. In the seventh semester, they must have level B1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).Item Características del currículo en la educación infantil de los niños y niñas de la edad de 2 a 3 años(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Lesmes Castañeda, Daniela; Otero Mejía, Paola Andrea; Vélez Mosquera, Leidy Tatiana; Mosquera, Deicy CorreaItem Caracterización de las propuestas curriculares en la educación inicial (0-3 años)(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Landazury Villalba, Yoisy Michel; Rentería Rodriguez, Mayra Alejandra; Rentería Valencia, Mayeisi; Pardo Jaramillo, SorayaThe following project has as purpose the characterization of the curricular proposal in the kindergarten "Santiaguitos" that offers initial education to the population between or to 6 years old located in the commune 19 of the municipality of Santiago de Cali, for it a qualitative research is proposed and an exploratory-descriptive study is carried out highlighting that a documentary review of the institution's educational project (PEI), observations during classroom practices and interviews with teachers and parents will be applied.Item Caracterización del currículo de niños y niñas de 0 a 3 en el Centro de Estimulación Precoz Crecer(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Candela Cosme, Leidy Vanessa; Gómez Tobón, Daniela María; Nieva Collazos, Diana Sofía; Bustos Olaya, HernánItem Caracterización del currículo en la educación inicial en el hogar infantil “la cascada(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2020) Arboleda Garcés, Mercy Daniella; Sánchez Rodríguez, Darling Pamela; Morales Cuellar, YoelThe present investigation has as general objective to characterize the curricumlum applied in inicial education in Kindergarten “La Cascada”, aimed to children from 0 (zero) to 3 (three) years old living in Municipality Santiago de Cali, Valley Cauca. This research addresses the characterization of the initial education curriculum of this same institution, where the elements that make up the curriculum are identified, as well as, the characteristics of this and if they follow the curricular bases proposed for initial education in 2017 by the Ministry of National Education- MEN. The process of this research begins with prior knowledge of what a curriculum is and its elements, and what is required to meet the needs of children from 0 to 3 years of age, taking into account what the MEN says in the document “Guidelines and curricular bases of the initial education” and other authors. Therefore, it was necessary to make a bibliographic review on this subject, certifying the importance of training children at these ages and what it means to do so. In other words, the child from an early age needs to know, relate, touch, live and be in motion; Therefore, methodological strategies, appropriate environments, topics of interest and forms of teaching that are meaningful are needed. According to the above, this research was emphasized in reviewing the Institutional Educational Project - PEI, to inquire about the components and curricular elements that make up the pre-garden degree of the Senderitos Educational Center. In order to respond if indeed essential aspects for the formation of boys and girls in initial education are addressed.Item Caracterización del currículo en la primera infancia en la Institución Educativa “Casa Montessori Home & School” de la ciudad Santiago de Cali(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Guilombo Guilombo, Darly Julieth; Lozano Guerrero, María Alejandra; Guevara Salazar, Leidy XimenaItem Caracterización del currículo en niños y niñas de 0 a 3 años(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Nasmuta Realpe, Jessica; Viveros Vivas, Giseth Andrea; Cano Quintero, María QuinteroItem Caracterización del currículo implementado en Aspaen Maternal y preescolar Tayana para la educación inicial(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Blackburn Cuero, Chiara Vanessa; Cruz Bolaños, Vivian Lorena; Arenas Casas, VanessaThe present research entitled "Characterization of the curriculum implemented in ASPAEN Maternal and Preschool Tayana for early childhood education", is articulated to the macro project called "Innovative Curricular Design for Initial Education from 0 to 3 years from the ruling activities proposed by the National Ministry of Education".
