The above with the purpose of to identify which economic activities of Valle del Cauca had a better performance within the Mexican market. Therefore, an investigation was carried out in different databases using the literature review method within which information on total Colombian exports to Mexico was sought and subsequently exports from Valle del Cauca will be detected by directly selecting the corresponding product to tariff heading 2008999000. Currently, the consumer is looking for natural products that provide multiple health benefits, one of these products is the Aloe Vera or Barbadensis Miller plant, being one of the most studied plants due to its healing, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and gastric protector. According to the above, it is necessary to exploit this easily cultivable natural resource in our region for its agro-industrial marketing with the rest of the world. The method used consisted of the bibliographic review of the main academic databases, such as Scielo, ScienceDirect and Google Scholar. Thus, an important factor for the development of this research was the collection of data from other investigations, which allowed us to obtain results that support the approach of the problem, where it was evidenced that the cocoa market presents billions of dollars annually at the level worldwide, so there is a great opportunity for cocoa producers in Colombia. To conclude, cocoa could indeed be part of the exportable supply because the demand for this product is growing and the South Korean market is increasingly preferring Colombian cocoa that stands out for a fine aroma cocoa.
