Item Análisis de la aprehensión del conocimiento de los estudiantes del programa académico de terapia respiratoria de la universidad Santiago de Cali y estrategias para la orientación al aprendizaje autónomo(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2017) Rojas Velez, Diego Fernando; Arenas Casas, VanessaThe purpose of this study was to analyze the form of knowledge apprehension of respiratory therapy students at the University of Santiago of Cali and what strategies can be developed from the orientation to autonomous learning. This is a quantitative study, the results are presented in tables of frequency and percentage. A probabilistic sample was calculated from a population of 312 students in the respiratory therapy program of the University of Santiago of Cali, with a confidence level of 95% to 5% of error, the sample was of 173 surveys, which were aimed at establishing the Autonomous learning. A reliability analysis was performed on the instrument with the cronbach alpha statistic. There was a greater participation of women (82%), the age group with the highest proportion was 19 to 21 (mean 21.3, median = 21, modo= 21, S = 3.2) years (39.3%). The results show that students have great affinity for technology, but despite the fact that information systems are available, the percentages obtained in autonomous learning are not conclusive. This model requires a commitment on the part of the students, who have discipline in the face of the search for self-learning, where the logic is reinforced by the teaching experience, this leads to the idea that in autonomous learning there is nothing conclusive, which allows to open many possibilities for innovation and experimentation, research and systematization by teachers and the institutions themselves.Item Estrategias didácticas enfocadas en las clases expositivas para facilitar el aprendizaje autónomo orientadas en el programa de Instrumentación Quirúrgica de la Universidad Santiago de Cali(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2017) Narvaez Hoyos, Flor Amalfy; Paz Samudio, AlfonsoThe present research aims to determine the didactic strategies focused on the expositive classes to facilitate autonomous learning in students of Surgical Instrumentation of the University of Santiago de Cali. The type of research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. It was proposed to identify, select, classify and describe didactic strategies to promote autonomous learning in the Surgical Instrumentation program of the Santiago de Cali University. Texts, articles from indexed journals and research related to the topic of autonomy in the process of learning and teaching were consulted, and an interview was conducted with teachers from the program of Surgical Instrumentation, Education, Research and Epidemiology. According to the results, didactic strategies identified to develop the autonomous learning competences in the Surgical Instrumentation program, amount others are: simulation, problem-based learning (PBL), case study, reading and writting strategies, cooperative work and familiarization of topics. As a proposal it is necessary the training of teachers by high level experts to implement didactic strategies that favor autonomous learning and raise awareness among students from the first semester of the commitment and responsibility they must assume in a learning process in higher education.
