This knowledge has now been abandoned and submerged in a Western context. This has led to the constant struggle for Afro-Colombian rights and respect in a discriminatory society. Basic education is the cornerstone; the first step in forging and instilling identity: Who am I? What is my story? With this reflective article, we aim to promote the indigenous knowledge of Black communities to broaden perspectives and the variety of knowledge. The action to be developed is directed at the educational community, specifically at the María Auxiliadora Educational Institution in the municipality of Guachené, Cauca. It encompasses the community's own practices, such as art and culture in a broad sense, emphasizing inclusion and interculturality.
