Item Revisión de metodologías agiles aplicadas en la producción piscícola(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2022) Ruiz Bustamante, Leydi Dayan; Vásquez Rodriguez, Nathalia; Garcia Jimenez, Juan Camilo (Director)With the rapid growth of the population, the increase in the demand for marine products, as well as the deficiencies and environmental repercussions of world fisheries, the need arises to adopt modern fish production practices capable of satisfying the needs, through the efficient use of available resources without compromising their future existence. However, ignoring the conditions and characteristics of aquatic systems and intensifying fish farming increases the risk of facing biological, economic and social challenges, whose management requires agility to adapt and respond quickly to the changing environment. That is why the objective of this article is to carry out a review of agile methodologies applied to fish production to offer a sustainable production model, based on food security, economic growth and care for the environment. For which, information was obtained from the search in scientific databases, composed of degree works, scientific articles, books, commercial and governmental web pages, on the most outstanding methods of fish production, as well as international efforts to increase productivity and contribute to sustainable development. It was found that continuous flow systems and aquaponics are the most used fish farming systems today, due to their contributions to reducing the use of water resources and increasing productivity. However, it was determined that there are still problems related to high energy consumption.
