Propuesta de mejoramiento en el mantenimiento preventivo de motores en una empresa privada de la ciudad de Cali basada en la metodología MRP

This applied research work is carried out with the aim of achieving the application of the MRP methodology (Material Required Planning) in the company EQUIPOS TECNICOS LTDA CQR, currently Tecnodiesel. was used primary and secondary information; the first of them allowed identifying the main problems that the company has in its maintenance process of diesel engines; while the second, provided sufficient framework to adjust the methodology to the process under study and propose the design of the procedure to be followed to achieve the stated objective. It was then possible to prepare a proposal for the improvement of the preventive maintenance process and to design the procedure for the application of the MRP methodology with its respective formats. The main conclusion of the research work is that the proposed methodology requires compliance with basic parameters in the company in which it is to be applied, such as: size, volume of products or services to be handled, inventory treatment, level of systematization of information and, above all, administrative management and adequate planning.
Revisión de modelos de sistemas integrados de gestión con base en las Normas ISO 9001:2015, OHSAS 18001:2007, IS0 14001:2015 E ISO 45001:2018

This document presents a review of the articles published in the last 10 years on the implementation of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 standards and includes OHSAS 18001. Due to the modifications made to the standards, it is necessary to consider them for the implementation of a model of Integrated Management System. This document contains systematized tables, for each standard, with the most relevant information of each article: Title, Author, Context and Results, that is, it becomes a reference document for future searches and implementation of the different standards. The tables presented were created according to the information found in the databases of the Santiago de Cali University, specifically Science Direct and Scopus.
Un acercamiento al estudio de madurez de las PMO’S en el departamento del Valle del Cauca Colombia

This article aims to present an approach to measuring the maturity of project management offices in the Valle del Cauca region, through a collection of national and foreign national and foreign studies, theses, article, books, the maturity cube was determined as a methodological tool for identifying and evaluating PMO's maturity levels. Through the use of an electronic form, different offices were surveyed which rated the level of sophistication with which perform the functions of each PMO; like, they set a rating for some critical success factors, thus, to determine the level of relevance of these in front of the project office implementation process.
Impacto del Value Stream Mapping (VSM) en diferentes compañías del sector económico y productivo

This article aims to show the impact of Value Stream Mapping (VSM) on different companies in the economic and productive sector through success stories. To do this, bibliographic material will be used to introduce Lean Manufacturing through the analysis of "waste" in the value chain and specified in the implications of Lean tools. In addition, the introduction to one of these tools is made: VSM or Mapeo de flujo de valor. First, a map or value flow must be prepared that shows the sequence of the processes that have the most relevant on customers. It consists of drawing a flow chart in order to show what the company has today (its resources) and the information that directly influences the process. It is a map that illustrates the zero moment, that is, from when you receive the raw materials or documentation until the finished product comes out. Definitions provided by different authors show what are the most important points when applying it as well as benefits and limitations. In addition, the steps that must was followed to perform a stream mapping in any organization, with examples and graphs are shown. Finally, the impacts of the VSM was detected in three organizations all located in different countries in order to show their case and the corrective measures that were implemented based on the flow mapping were detected
Producción limpia y sustentable: un análisis a las fuentes de energía renovable

A review on renewable energies was carried out globally and in Colombia, in order to know the benefits and advantages not only environmental, but also economic that represents its adaptation and use in the production of an organization. Some of the types of clean or renewable energy with greater development are described, their applications, limitations and levels of CO2 or other pollutants emitted compared to fuels. To show the results, there are some cases of great importance in the use of renewable energy in European and Latin American countries, among other studies, which demonstrate the potential of these new alternatives with the objective of reducing or mitigating the effects of the environmental pollution. On the other hand, the importance of renewable energies in the Colombian electricity sector is analyzed, showing special attention in those that give firmness to the Colombian system, but due to environmental conditions and policy design they have not been able to fully penetrate the electrical system Colombian.
Kaizen: Mejora continua aplicada en el sector industrial

Currently, a lot of companies are looking forward to highlight their products internationally, in order to achieve this, it is necessary to track their own growing process. Implement a good quality culture inside the companies helps in the improvements of results and increases the competitiveness in the market. Thanks to the application of tools related to lean manufacturing, it is possible to appreciate an improvement of the results, like the reduction of wastes that affects the production. This work presents how the implementation of lean manufacturing philosophy in the industry has shown a constant development in paper production process, getting positive results like the permanent employment creation.

Through this work we seek to document the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (SG-SST), for its respective implementation in Distribuciones Cruz A in the city of Cali, in compliance with Resolution 0312 of 2019 This, taking into account the relevance of the worker's safety within the workplace, since it can not be ignored, the fact that regardless of the work performed by the workers, certain risks are taken, which must be be diagnosed and evaluated to mitigate its occurrence, through programs that account for monitoring and control of the actions taken by the company in specific cases. With this purpose, in the development of this work will begin describing the problems that the company lives in relation to the safety of its workers, it is also justified the importance that has, within the workplace and academic. Likewise, the theoretical and legal bases that account for the development of the subject are exposed. Then the method that is going to be used for its development is established and finally, the proposed objectives will be answered.
Revisión de la implementación de la técnica kanban en empresas productivas

Currently, companies in different sectors need useful tools to control their efficiency by having information and control systems that provide a high degree of reliability, allowing them to focus their strategy without falling into the error of focusing their efforts on levels of innovation and technology higher than their need, where innovation cannot be given only in the tangible characteristic of goods, if not on the contrary give guidance to those qualities of the company that are intangible or lower cost but are differentiating. It is for this reason that the article is a review of the literature, which presents critical analysis and delimited on the advances, trends, positive results, negative and future routes of investigation found in the current technique of Lean Manufacturing Kanban in productive companies, that allow to give a guide on how viable is the tool in the production and which is type of production more suitable for its implementation achieving the best results of the tool Kanban.
Mejoramiento en la gestión de residuos en un edificio universitario con estrategias de ciudad inteligente

In this project an improvement was made in the management of waste in a university building with smart city strategies, whose objective was to make a diagnosis of the current state of said university building, analyzing waste management standards and process indicators, this in order to identify improvements in waste management and review available smart city alternatives, emphasizing the need to have a strategy to achieve the objectives, we opted for the strategy that optimizes times, routes and the eleven reduction of operating costs when carrying out these activities in everyday life, such is the case of the implementation of remote sensors in garbage cans. In the first chapter of the project, an introduction is presented, briefly explaining the antecedents that are key to the development of our central theme. The second chapter refers to the problem, formulation of the problem and systematization of the problem, the justification is stated, this being the purpose for which this work was developed, using certain ICT (Information and Communication Technologies), as sensors, communication interfaces and connectivity structures in the improvement of the waste management system that is part of the university.
Proceso para la gestión integral del riesgo aplicado en una organización de estudio

The integrated quality management systems seen from the field of risk management, acquires great relevance within organizations, since it is an effective tool for mitigation, risk prevention and decision-making in companies, achieving Contribute to your competitiveness in terms of processes and quality of products or services. These benefits allowed to guide the present article, on the purpose of pointing out the process that is followed for the integral management of the risk applied in a study organization. Therefore, a methodology based on the standard risk management process applied to a cooperative that served as a case study of the investigation was implemented. It is concluded that risk management, in addition to being incorporated into the integral management of quality processes and responding to current regulations established by regulatory entities, risk management should be understood as a tool that allows organizations to act in advance to safeguard the image of companies in all areas where risks can be generated.
Importancia de la implementación del sistema de gestión ambiental en las organizaciones actuales

he Environmental Management System through the ISO 1400-14001 standard, aims to support the prevention and management of environmental pollution and achieve sustainable development in companies, in recent years there has been an important advance in the practice of environmental management, however its implementation has not been so predominantly in organizations. This article provides comprehensive and concise information that allows knowing the importance of the Environmental Management System in organizations. For this purpose, a descriptive investigation was carried out, where the benefits and / or importance of the implementation of this system were identified, among them are a better corporate image, adequate management of resources, reduction in waste generation, attracting new customers, greater opportunities in the market and technology transfer, as vital tools in environmental issues. Additionally, it describes the importance of compliance with ISO 1400-14001 in future certification processes, achieving greater competitiveness in the sector.
Requerimientos de trabajo y competencias laborales para una empresa de servicios alimentarios

The role of human talent in companies to achieve successful results in any process, focuses on aspects of attitude, performance and skills, hence the importance of always having qualified and trained people in the work teams that facilitate organizational development and strengthening. In accordance with the above, the purpose of this study is to analyze the labor requirements and competencies that are required to improve the level of services, in a company in the food sector, multinational character, in the headquarters of the city of Cali-Colombia. Due to the lack of clarity in the requirements for the positions and not having established labor competencies, there was an inadequate selection of personnel, high turnover rates, high training costs, low levels of productivity, low levels of customers service, and impact on indicators related to sales and service processes. Following the case study methodology, a detailed description of the charges and processes was made, along with a review of specialized literature, seeking to clarify the company`s problems. Then, the instruments for the collection of information were designed, the work requirements and labor competencies of the operational positions for the human management and service delivery processes were defined, all this through the application of industrial engineering techniques and through the elaboration of a manual of responsibilities that allowed to establish a system of evaluation of the performance of the personnel. To achieve the purpose of the study, this document presents the following structure: literature review, study design, case description, results and discussion, and conclusions
Identificación de los atributos críticos del servicio ofrecido en un centro recreacional

This paper is focused on identifying the critical attributes of the service offered in a Recreation Center. For that reason, an exploratory study was developed with the purpose of knowing the critical and favorable points in the quality of the service according to the perception of customers, a survey was applied to 215 users of the Center, with 95% reliability and a margin of error of +5%, The objective was to evaluate six fundamental service variables inspired by the Nordic quality of service model. The study highlights that variables such as the attention of waiters and service agility, are not relevant to the expectations of the users. Instead, there is evidence of a high assessment of the natural environment of the recreational center, in contrast to the low perception of elements related to the facilities of the place such as the playground, cabins and night club, underused spaces that are deteriorate and do not influence the user experience. The proposed service strategy is based on infrastructure expansion and elimination of other complementary service spaces. In the specific case of cabins, it is proposed to link with the hotel's lodging service to generate a greater economic income on this service in the CRCI.
Disminución de los tiempos de alistamiento aplicando SMED en el proceso de empaque tipo plegadizas en una empresa de artes gráficas

Applied research that analyzes the inactivity time in the machines operation, during the manufacturing process of folding type packaging, in a graphic arts company located in the municipality of Yumbo and whose most important customers are food industry, personal hygiene and pharmacist multinationals. Therefore once it is detected that 80% of this unproductivity corresponds to the transition time between the production of one lot and the next; it is proposed to reduce these times, which will be called "enlistment times" by applying the SMED tool, which consists in converting the internal processes (activities that must be carried out when the machinery is not in operation), to external processes that concern all the operations executed with the machinery in operation, this with the idea of reducing the times of enlistment. The processes in which the tool was applied were: (1) printing, (2) die cutting and (3) gluing, resulting in 30% average efficiency, in 1.03 months of execution, equivalent in Colombian pesos to an approximate saving of $ 72.272.000, being an economically viable and profitable project for the company
Propuesta de estandarización de los procesos de plegado y ensamble de parales y carteras para una empresa metalmecánica en la ciudad de Cali

This work presents the purpose of standardizing the folding and assembly processes of parales and portfolios for a metal-mechanic company in the city of Cali, based on a characterization of the current situation, which allows identifying opportunities for improvement in processes and finally designing the process manual for a metalworking company. The methodological aspects present a descriptive type of investigation which allows to identify, analyze and expose the most relevant characteristics of the reality of the process, identifying the problems related to the production times and its waste, the steps of the construction process and its due execution by of the operator, the supply, the delivery times, and generally with the production planning processes, in the same way a mixed approach (quantitative and qualitative) will be used, since the study contains statistical aspects, characteristics and qualities of the factors evaluated, based on techniques for collecting documentary information, observation and evaluation of data on the identified processes. Based on the above it was found that currently, the folding and assembly process that to date have not been standardized, this requires generating a series of strategies tending to determine the opportunities presented by the production times from a manual of processes that allow to effectively and efficiently improve production within this organization.
Comparación de las metodologías cascada y ágil para el aumento de la productividad en el desarrollo de software

This article presents a theoretical review, based on a descriptive approach, on two models used in software engineering, which serve as tools to improve organizational processes. Such models are: cascade or traditional and the agile model. Methodologically, a review of academic articles was carried out along with some books and publications, both in English and in Spanish, which address issues related to the management of such models for software development. The results obtained are presented in five chapters, which address three specific objectives: to know the history of the models and their main characteristics; know the techniques used in each of the mentioned models; identify the success you have had when implementing software in each of the models; A comparison is also made in order to determine the efficiency of the models, their limits and advantages. The results show that the way to evaluate determines the quality of the software.
Perfiles de cargo y manual de funciones en la unidad financiera de la empresa FONDECOM

This document describes a study carried out to design the job profiles and functions manual in the financial unit of FONDECOM company, this study begins with a description of the actions realized in human talent area, finding that the organization has already established a compensation, welfare and training strategy. In addition, it has a functional structure with grouping by activities that facilitates its cost management and its monitoring and control system. However, it was established that the lack of knowledge of the responsibilities of employees reflects the need to have a manual of functions that guide their work to avoid conflicts between co-workers. In the same way the middle managers have difficulties to work in a team, because they are not taken in count in the results evaluation meetings, so there is a lack of motivation that needs to be resolved. According to the above, we proceeded to design the job profiles and the functions manual with the support of the human resources coordinator and the information collected with the interview with the same collaborators, establishing KPI (Key Performance Indicators) indicators that Evaluate the results of Human Capital.
Propuesta de desarrollo de las fases I y II del sistema de gestión de seguridad y salud en el trabajo para la empresa Proyectos y Montajes Industriales S.A.S

The current regulations, especially decree 1072 of 2015, require compliance with a series of requirements in the field of occupational safety and health, organized as a management system. The national government in its desire to be internationally recognized and with the idea of being part of the select group of the OECD, has set a series of objectives in this area, for which it has delegated to the Ministry of Labor its vigilance and control, giving sanctioning tools to the inspectors, highly onerous for the companies and that go until the closing of the same ones. Therefore, companies have started this process by defining strategic objectives, focused on the prevention of work accidents, occupational diseases and the permanent health care of workers. With the effective implementation of a management system of occupational health and safety, great benefits are obtained such as: Increase in the level of health of the entire working population, effective management of resources for safety and health at work, increase in quality and productivity of the company, satisfaction in general, decrease in accidents and indirect costs for disabilities and accidents of work, avoid sanctions and closure of the company for breach of legal requirements. (unexpected visit of inspectors appointed by the ministry of labor), positive impact on being, generating happiness at work, corporate social responsibility.

This article consented to the bibliographic review of occupational hazards according to ARL and SGSST related to the transition from the OHSAS 18001: 2007 standard to the new ISO 45001: 2018 in companies in Colombia; since the evident growth of industrial sector organizations, makes them a potential target to carry out the implementation of all kinds of tools that contribute to the efficiency of processes and procedures to optimize the quality of life of workers. In the same way, the analysis of how the management system provides the contributions that are required in the design of implementation techniques and mechanisms for monitoring and controlling risks and hazards based on useful data for the reduction of adverse events and therefore of economic costs. Finally, a brief review of what the two standards in question and the instruments that from the occupational health and safety approach could be applied in order to ensure the success and sustainability of an OSH-OSH in A company either of goods or services.
Gestión documental bajo la norma ISO 9001 2015 en la organización AUTOCORP

This article develops a topic of interest to most companies and industries, both manufacturing and service providers, giving an important leap in the world of continuous improvement in both processes and production times, assuming as the main tool document management which is developed both in the administrative and technical part of the companies , taking as its main objective to plan ,manage and organize all the documentation carried out within the company ,from data collection to standardization, management and conservation within an indicated quality system. Taking this into account, this research is focused on the development of the document management of the NTC-ISO 9001 2015 within the AUTOCORP organization in the commercial and after sales areas; where interviews were conducted with the bosses area, commercial manager, service manager and/or person in charge of the process, to determine which was the existing documentation that could be standardized and which should be developed , Starting with the characterization of the processes that are involved in each one of the study areas; documenting procedures, policies, and other. Subsequently, the review and approval was made by the general manager, continuing with the internal disclosure in the corresponding areas and then being executed respectively by the employees involved in this process. Inside the results obtained it was possible to visualize greater efficiency in the processes executed and involved in the areas in study, achieving also the improvement of processes and communication at the levels of the organization.
