Un acercamiento al estudio de madurez de las PMO’S en el departamento del Valle del Cauca Colombia

This article aims to present an approach to measuring the maturity of project management offices in the Valle del Cauca region, through a collection of national and foreign national and foreign studies, theses, article, books, the maturity cube was determined as a methodological tool for identifying and evaluating PMO's maturity levels. Through the use of an electronic form, different offices were surveyed which rated the level of sophistication with which perform the functions of each PMO; like, they set a rating for some critical success factors, thus, to determine the level of relevance of these in front of the project office implementation process.
Análisis de factibilidad para la construcción de horno túnel en una empresa ladrillera

In the present article an analysis of the feasibility is shown, which was taken into account a market study, a technical-operative and economic study to determine the goodness of building an oven in the La Samaritana brick factory. With the realization of the feasibility study, the very useful tool in the pre-operative phase of a project, the possibilities of success of the investment project can be presented to the management of the company. To carry out the feasibility study, take into account in the same place where the main needs of the operation can be known, the function used in the field that included the taking of data of the times of the production process, with this information An analysis of the faults presented at each moment was made. then a market study was carried out in the municipalities of the south of Valle del Cauca to determine the unmet potential demand, using secondary information from government agencies, books and company information; The economic analysis was necessary. Análisis de factores de seguridad para un adecuado trabajo en alturas en el sector construcción

This document deals with the topic of work at specific heights in the construction sector, making known the procedures and safety factors of this activity, since the repetitive behaviors processed routinely causing customs in the work without precaution. It begins with the background of occupational safety and health, making known the origins and evolution of work behaviors at heights to date; Subsequently, information on the legality and regulations used in Colombia is provided, among these norms is Decree 1072 of 2015 where the work structure is stipulated. On the other hand, information on the ISO 45001 of 2018 standard is provided, which establishes parameters in occupational safety and health. The meaning of work at heights, indicators of accident in construction and tools necessary for the realization of work, such as scaffolding, platforms, stairs, among others, are also disclosed. The importance of identifying the safety factors for the preparation of the worker through training, medical check-up and adequate procedures to mitigate the risk to which they are affected is highlighted, thus ensuring the worker's life and obtaining good productive results.
Análisis de la actualización normativa para los equipos de protección personal (EPP) en Colombia según la ISO 45001:2018

The objective of this paper is to analyze the normative update for personal protection teams (PPE) in Colombia according to NTC-ISO 45001: 2018, for which a bibliographic tracking of the main texts addressed in the subject of NTC-ISO 45001: 2018, as well as documents that analyze the update and transition of the previous standard, as well as documents that mention the benefits of the new standard. The methodology used was descriptive by means of which reliable sources of information on the subject of this monograph were evaluated. Among the results obtained, it was possible to identify the great relevance that companies and employers currently have in Colombia with respect to guaranteeing safety at work and promoting the health of their workers, as well as compliance with regulations, laws and decrees. that the national government has established for the achievement or scope of said safety and health promotion in workers in the country, which includes the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Análisis de riesgos según la metodología FMEA, basado en el sistema de gestión de salud

Currently analyzing the risks that may cause a possible effect of both positive and negative uncertainty to achieve the objectives, is an integral part of the organizations. This article contains information related to contextual definitions adopted by authors that delve into the characterization of risk definitions, in the analysis it is evident that there are many challenges when addressing the issue, regardless of the activity of the organization. Currently many methods are known to analyze and evaluate the risks that can cause an effect of uncertainty, yielding a result that can be positive (opportunity for improvement) or that can be negative (threat), is taken as reference ISO 9001: 2015 in its requirement the risk-based thinking that addresses methods of analysis and evaluation of the risks that may arise in an organization. Therefore, the AMFE method (analysis of the mode and effect of potential failure) is carried out, as an application tool to arrive at a result that allows identifying the failures in the process and in the product or service, as well as preventing possible rejections, allowing the development of alternatives towards continuous improvement.

The tires currently used represent an ecological, environmental and health problem in the different cities of Colombia, as a result of the inadequate final destination given to these pieces, because many are deposited in ravines or wastelands, others incinerated in spaces open sky and those that are recycled are not fully utilized. To cover this problem, a bibliographic review is presented in order to analyze the treatments and uses applied in the reuse and management in some places of the Colombian territory, whose objective is to identify some benefits and advantages, which contribute to generate a positive environmental impact, In addition to the economic one, which would be reflected with the reception of these processes in the industry, where we can denote some of their possible uses in the field of metallurgical, textile and construction, as well as taking into account that this material not only has benefits For this sector, it is also used for the development of recreational entertainment spaces. The above focuses on the maximum use of this recycled product, minimizing the impact of pollution on the environment and impact on human health that can be generated by improper waste management, preventing them from ending up in sites such as wastewater channels or public spaces. It was also found that in other Latin American and European countries they use strategies for decontamination and use of rubber tires. There are studies, projects and strategies have been proposed to implement processes that allow for the best reuse. Colombia is becoming aware and showing great attention in this area, providing support for the formulation of new ideas that allow the use, decontamination and improvement for environmental sustainability, based on the ISO 14001: 2015 standard for companies that carry out these activities, which establishes through an Environmental Management System to comply with requirements that contribute to the protection of the environment and respond to its changes, always maintaining a socio-economic balance. Companies have the responsibility and commitment to achieve the stipulated results referred to in the standard. through continuous improvement, compliance with environmental objectives and obligations, to thereby determine the impact and identify the risks and opportunities. This standard works according to the PHVA method, which consists of planning, doing, verifying and acting, which in other words is defined as establishing objectives, developing processes, monitoring and measuring to adopt improvement actions. By complying with the guidelines, it is possible to prevent or mitigate the environmental impacts caused by the activities carried out by organizations, as well as to support those that contribute to the improvement in environmental performance.
Análisis, evaluación y prevención de riesgos en conformidad con la metodología FMEA- norma ISO 31000 y actualización de la norma ISO 9001:2015

The following article aims to present a descriptive analysis of the different components and factors that affect quality management systems (QMS) from ISO-9001, with an emphasis on the development of the organization, production, competitiveness of the same organization and risk management that stalks its organizational behavior. For this purpose a bibliographic review was carried out in scientific databases, strengthened with articles published in specialized journals and books of the same order. Among the results derived from the documentary review, the processes of ISO-9001 were identified, the implementation of story methodologies such as the MFEA and Risk Management from ISO-31,000, positively influence the quality management of organizations, as well as in the fulfillment of the challenges that strengthens its level of formalization, recognition and promotes the implementation of organizational development strategies for the fulfillment of its objectives and competitiveness in the market; It should be noted that any organization that successfully mages to address the assessment and prevention of risks has first level advantages within its structure, such as having a control plan on the processes, identifying the potential failure modes, the effect of each one of the possible failure modes and their severity within the process, all this generates the identification of the corrective actions required to reduce, prevent and improve the methods to detect failures early.
Aplicación de la metodología Lean Six Sigma para mejoramiento continúo en procesos de una empresa de servicio

This article deals with the continuous improvement of the document custody process through the Lean Six Sigma methodology in a service delivery company, the work was done with the aim of reducing the current operating cost of the process. The development was done through the DMAIC roadmap methodology that allowed to identify, improve and control the critical independent variables that affected the current cost and define mechanisms that will maintain the solution over time. During the development, it was possible to identify the lack of governance and control during the entire flow of documents derived from the processes of linking and service provision, lack of standards in the document purification where we apply the concept of added value and absence of policies for the proper management of information of the associate since at the end of 2017 had a record of 244,422 active associates and 558,765 files of associates were found in physical custody. The final result was able to define different custody schemes by type of process according to the needs of internal and external clients.
Aplicación de la norma ISO 9001-2015 en Instituciones de Educación Superior

In this bibliographic review article, the structure and criteria for the execution of a quality management system are considered, applying the ISO 9001 standard for higher level educational institutions. Mainly the theoretical review was based on quality management systems and their concepts, high quality guidelines in training programs and their standardization. As a result of the review, a great contribution was made to the higher academic training sector (Universities) and to society in general at the level of the operational organization for the execution in higher education institutions of a quality management system, defining in turn, those responsible and associated activities for the execution of the ISO 9001 standard. The study methodology used in this bibliographic research consisted of the collection of 30 review articles downloaded from the database of the virtual library of the Santiago de Cali University, specifically containing topics related to the ISO 9001 standard, its application in institutes of higher education and other organizations in general, consisted of reviewing the content of said article and rescuing the relevant information regarding the different forms of application found in the researched literature.

Lean Manufacturing known by its acronym LM is a work philosophy that proposes to obtain greater benefits using fewer resources. It has been applied in different sectors of the manufacturing industry; its greatest development has been in the automotive sector where it possibly originated. Today in a competitive market, companies controlled by short delivery times, low costs and high levels of customer service satisfaction. This article will analyze the implementation and results of different companies in the automotive sector that have applied the LM methodology to improve their operational processes. For this, the review of different articles and case studies published about LM and some of its tools for continuous improvement such as 5, Kanban, Just in Time, VSM, Six Sigma, SMED and TPM. Articulo Modelo de costos estándar aplicado a la producción de estibas en la empresa Cooperativa de Trabajo Asociado Mundo Maderas

Below is the design of a standard cost model for the Mundo Maderas Associated Labor Cooperative, this in order to provide the organization with an effective tool to make decisions, set prices and direct its administrative management. To achieve this objective, a brief description of the company is presented, in order to establish the way in which its operation and organizational style have been given; Likewise, aspects of its size are exposed, and the way in which it is characterized within the market. Adding to this, the stages of its production process are presented, to then detail the standard cost model, carried out under the Visual Basic for Applications tool, or Excel VBA, being available to interested personnel. In the final discussion, the results obtained are contrasted with some similar research internationally.

There are mandatory norms (laws, resolutions, ordinances) and others which have the focus on keeping a Good administration and human talent management (ISO 45001 Norm), so it’s relevan tinto an organization because is a necesary process to assure the permanence in the market, to achieve the targets at the meddium and long term and to keep a suitable worging environment to allow the organization preject from the interior to the customs, external collaborators, financial sector, public sector (govenrment), from that premise, we consult sources and analyze the most relevant aspects to allow the organizations be effective in the employees health managgement and keep a secure work environment; the government by the social protection ministry makes the public politics which are aligned with the ones done by worldwide organizations like health world organization (OMS), job international organizatios (OIT); economic comition for latín America and Caribe (CEPAL): at the world action plan of the OMS are five objectives: 1) elaborate and aplícate normative instruments about the employees health; 2) protect and promote the health at the workplace; 3) to have better occupational health services and the acces to them; 4) To give probatory data to strenghten measures and practices; 5) Integrate the employees health in other politics (OMS, 2010, p1).
Aspectos sobre la implementación de ISO 9001:2015: Caso en empresa de transporte en Colombia

The article it´s focused on showing the impact of the ISO 9001: 2015 Standard for the Colombian case of a transport company in Colombia called Transpacol Ltda. To this end, through the literature review the impact of the implementation of this rule. It´s explained through the documents that the company has facilitated how to execute the processes processed in ISO 9001: 2015. Likewise, were analyzed the norm and the requirements established by the Ministry of Transportation (2015) regarding the certification of transport companies under the ISO 9001 standard. Finally, the change of the company TRANSPACOL LTDA will show in the last four years. Since it´s the time that has elapsed since the implementation of ISO 9001: 2015. To do this, ISO 9001: 2008 and the transition to ISO 9001: 2015 will compared through the processes carried out in the company.
Barreras de transición y beneficios de la norma OHSAS 18001 a la ISO 45001 en las PYMES

Since 1800, the first workplace safety standards were born due to multiple accidents, where the most affected were women and children, these standards seek to reduce absenteeism through the reduction of accidents and incidents that may occur in an environment labor. In 1830 Robert Backer made a proposal for the visit of medical personnel to factories to care for workers, women and children. At present, companies that seek to be more productive must establish organizational policies and objectives, be communicated and make them available to all the organization's personnel, they can also use a method of compensation for attendance or automate absences with a fingerprint, with This will help decrease absenteeism. Until 2015, the international standard was OHSAS 18001.However, since 2018, ISO 45001 (International Organization of Standardization) has been accepted as the new international standard. This research aims to collect the barriers and benefits that SME companies have in Colombia in the transition from OHSAS 18001 to ISO 45001 to obtain their certification, taking into account that these companies constitute a large percentage of the productive sector in this country. . Therefore, in order to achieve this objective, 6 stages were developed: revision of the standard, differences between the OHSAS 18001 and ISO 45001 standards, key points of the ISO 45001 standard, benefits with the implementation of the ISO 45001 standard, cases of application of ISO 45001 and the compilation of transition barriers between one standard and another. With the research carried out, 5 different barriers were found that affect SME companies, thus evidencing that the main barrier that organizations have is the economic difficulty that reduces the resources of these companies to obtain their certification, which may arise due to the situation of the country or due to difficulties in acquiring money from financial institutions. Similarly, 7 benefits were identified that the implementation of the ISO 45001 standard brings to companies, employees, customers and society.
Beneficios económicos y ambientales de la logística inversa en los RAEE

El presente artículo busca describir los principales beneficios económicos y ambientales de la logística, haciendo un recorrido por aspectos de orden: teórico, en la que se desarrollan algunos conceptos como, Aparatos Eléctricos y Electrónicos (AEE), Residuos de Aparatos Eléctricos y Electrónicos (RAEE) y Logística Inversa (LI), Responsabilidad Extendida al Productor (REP); normatividad a nivel nacional e internacional; los principales retos de la implementación de la logística inversa y como punto central del presente trabajo, la puntualización de los impactos internos y externos en materia económica y ambiental. La metodología empleada consiste en la revisión y análisis de artículos científicos que se obtuvieron mediante consulta de bases de datos como Redalyc, Scielo, Dialnet, World Wide Science, entre otros. Lo anterior, además de señalar la importancia de la logística inversa como estrategia para que las cadenas de suministro y empresas nacionales e internacionales, salvaguarden el medio ambiente y desarrollen procesos cada vez más tecnificados para el retorno de las piezas, con el objetivo de operar eficientemente y recuperar valor a los productos.
Caracterización del grado de implementación de metodologías de mejora de calidad y productividad en empresas manufactureras de la ciudad de Cali

This project develops a characterization and measurement of the degree of implementation of quality and productivity improvement methodologies in 11 manufacturing companies in the city of Cali. This characterization encompasses a qualitative study developed through a survey in which different factors are revealed that reveal related information regarding methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and Total Quality Management. The results obtained show that there is a moderately low level in terms of the adoption of the methodologies addressed. Among the findings, it was observed that the two tools with the highest adoption are “Standardization of Jobs” and “Kaizen”, the two belonging to the Lean Manufacturing methodology. It should be noted that some of the companies studied, have an implementation greater than 60% of the number of techniques evaluated, being a case of great impact on the study. One of the most important conclusions, focuses on the wide possibilities derived from the potential of universities to generate collaboration with companies, in the development of applied research that allow the implementation of these tools given the demonstrated importance of the benefits they provide.
Comparación de las metodologías cascada y ágil para el aumento de la productividad en el desarrollo de software

This article presents a theoretical review, based on a descriptive approach, on two models used in software engineering, which serve as tools to improve organizational processes. Such models are: cascade or traditional and the agile model. Methodologically, a review of academic articles was carried out along with some books and publications, both in English and in Spanish, which address issues related to the management of such models for software development. The results obtained are presented in five chapters, which address three specific objectives: to know the history of the models and their main characteristics; know the techniques used in each of the mentioned models; identify the success you have had when implementing software in each of the models; A comparison is also made in order to determine the efficiency of the models, their limits and advantages. The results show that the way to evaluate determines the quality of the software.
Comparativo Estándar OSHAS 18001:2007 e ISO 45001:2018

In the close relationship between health and work risks and occupational diseases are born, due to the exposure of employees to inadequate working conditions, which cause serious injuries and in the worst case death. For the treatment of this problem, several approaches have been developed throughout history, including Health and Safety at Work, a multidisciplinary approach from which the Occupational Health and Safety Management System emerges. Starting from a bibliographic review, this article shows the differences between the most important regulations of health and safety management at work; the OHSAS 18001: 2007 and ISO 45001: 2018 standard; The objective of both is to reduce risks, eliminate hazards and improve health and safety conditions in organizations, through safe and healthy workplaces. Once the information has been analyzed, it is evident that even when the regulations present notable differences (clauses, risk management, interested parties, among others), organizations certified under OHSAS 18001: 2007 have a “solid platform” to migrate to ISO 45001: 2018. The great challenge of migration is to achieve over the next 3 years a change in employee safety culture, structural change of the organization (active and committed participation of all interested parties) and the usefulness and implementation of the standard for any organization that requires it..
Control del proceso de producción de panela en la empresa “El Gigante” mediante documentación de procesos

This article deals with the realization of the documentation of the panela production process, which from the standardization of the process was intended to contribute to the reduction of raw material waste in the production line. This investigation is of descriptive type, since during its development activities were carried out as: interviews, visits to observe the process, documentation and time studies; that allowed the collection of information, the taking of time and the analysis of these, to identify the possible difficulties in the execution of the panelas production process, and thus to solve the lack of documentation, since this affected the productive process. The result was the characterization of the process, process map, flow diagram, average time of operation and the indicators' curriculum vitae; which will allow each of the collaborators to carry out their tasks sequentially and with the knowledge of what their responsibilities are in the process; In the same way, the work environment is expected to improve and in turn increase the income flow. This research also aimed to raise the awareness of the owner of the trapiche about the importance of the implementation of quality tools or technology in order to improve the different processes of the company.
