Item La inteligencia emocional y su influencia en el proceso de aprendizaje de los niños y niñas(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2020) Jiménez Salazar, Marjedth; Ramírez González, Linda Katherine; Miranda, María ClaudiaThis research project starts from what was observed in practices of the previous semesters, where nearly 6 educational Institutions were visited in the municipality of Palmira Valle del Cauca. In some of these practices, studies were carried out on boys and girls emotions. In the light of these studies, it emerges the need to investigate how emotional intelligence influences children and their teaching and learning process as well. It must be mentioned that this study was carried out at the Sagrada Familia Educational Institution in Potrerillo, and it is there that the question arises: ¿What is the influence that emotional intelligence has on the learning of transition graders, of the Educational Institution Sagrada Familia de Potrerillo? Based on this problem and in search of a possible solution, a recreational-pedagogical unit was created to stimulate emotional intelligence in them and in turn achieve an improvement in their academic, interpersonal and social performance. It must be mentioned that adequate emotional stimulation will allow to have happy children. This investigation project applied a qualitative research having a descriptive and informed approach; the global problem faced by humanity due to Covid 19 was also addressed, which changed the way of face-to-face teaching in children and took them to informal contexts. Key words: emotional intelligence, teaching, learning, boy and girl, preschool education, emotional stimulation, family, didactic unit, informal contexts, covid-19, influence.
