Item Propuesta para el mejoramiento del proceso de suministro de materia prima terminada hacia el área de almacenamiento(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2018) Gutiérrez García, Oliver; García Jiménez, Juan CamiloItem Sistema domótico para la gestión de demanda de una vivienda autosostenible(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Suaza Cano, Kevin Andrés; Angulo Gamboa, Angel Stiven; Castillo Garcia, Javier FerneyA load characterization system was developed in an embedded platform, in order to identify electrical devices used in the home. For the characterization process, the most representative electrical parameters of the different loads were defined, which were used in the training of an artificial neural network implemented in an embedded platform with a network topology with the best performance in terms of computational resources, time of execution and percentage of error. The structure of the network used two hidden layers each with 10 neurons, obtaining an average error of 2.051% with a standard deviation of 1.23%. With the characterization of electrical charges, an intelligent home automation system could be created which can generate savings of up to 23% compared to traditional home automation systems or 69% savings compared to a home without any automation or system control. The proposed demand management system can actively manage the loads due to the knowledge of the elements connected to the network, identifying periods of low consumption which can be related to charging processes completed in mobile phones, laptops or standby mode for televisions. The identification of charges facilitates the implementation of management schemes and control of electric chargesItem Control del proceso de producción de panela en la empresa “El Gigante” mediante documentación de procesos(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Dávila Zabala, Deivy Alexis; Guerrero Moreno, David Rodrigo (Director)This article deals with the realization of the documentation of the panela production process, which from the standardization of the process was intended to contribute to the reduction of raw material waste in the production line. This investigation is of descriptive type, since during its development activities were carried out as: interviews, visits to observe the process, documentation and time studies; that allowed the collection of information, the taking of time and the analysis of these, to identify the possible difficulties in the execution of the panelas production process, and thus to solve the lack of documentation, since this affected the productive process. The result was the characterization of the process, process map, flow diagram, average time of operation and the indicators' curriculum vitae; which will allow each of the collaborators to carry out their tasks sequentially and with the knowledge of what their responsibilities are in the process; In the same way, the work environment is expected to improve and in turn increase the income flow. This research also aimed to raise the awareness of the owner of the trapiche about the importance of the implementation of quality tools or technology in order to improve the different processes of the company.Item Protocolo para la adquisición de señales mioeléctricas de los músculos inervados por los nervios ulnar, radial y medial para una órtesis de mano(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Bravo Hoyos, Andrea Alexandra; Pérez Plaza, Vanessa; Bermeo Varón, Leonardo AntonioAn orthosis is an external device applied to the body at the time of a structural, functional or disability impairment, which over the years has demonstrated its benefits in rehabilitation and functionality. Currently, there are active orthotics of general design. This suggests some adaptability in the person who has a disability, leading to an inadequate use of the orthotics in many cases. An alternative is the design of orthoses in a specific way, which has limited studies. This is the case of the hand, which is one of the organs with greater external functionality in the human body and which is directly related to daily activities such as feeding and non-verbal communication, mainly. This project proposes a protocol for the acquisition of myoelectric signals in the muscles of the upper limb. They are innervated by the radial, medial and ulnar nerve, which are responsible for the movements of flexion, extension, ulnar and radial deviation of the hand. They also have to do with metacarpophalangeal flexion, metacarpophalangeal extension, and opposition and thumb adduction. In the future, this project can be used as a guiding base for the design and construction of a specific functional active hand orthosis. This study includes the generation of patterns of each movement and the comparison of the magnitude of the myoelectric signal, in order to determine the specific location of the electrodes. Samples of the signals were made in six people without disabilities, non-invasively. The points of greatest innervation detected by the surface electrodes in each muscle were determined. Seven (7) protocols and / or recommendations for the location of sensors in the muscles with reference in the SENIAM were obtained, with the aim of defining the appropriate combinations for the design of an active orthosis. Finally, with this study it is possible to determine the location of the electrodes for the proper classification of the eight (8) movements. Depending on the disability to be treated, the designer and / or manufacturer of the orthosis will be free to determine the necessary number of devices electronic devices according to the needs. The idea is to avoid overloaded systems of devices (sensors, actuators) that can generate trauma during the use of the orthosis and even its uselessness due to ergonomics problems or simply due to the weight of the device.Item TDM: dispositivo educativo para aprendizaje de las tablas de multiplicar en 3ro de primaria caso de estudio: colegio bilingüe san José campestre(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Pitto Giraldo, Johann Fernando; Cuero Cortés, Alex; Saint-Priest, Yana ElidaLearning the multiplication tables in some elementary school children has always been a pedagogical problem for third grade primary school students. This has motivated several researchers to look for alternatives to find the right solution, this being the aim of the present project. It is proposed to include TIC in the teaching of multiplication tables through a technological tool focused on autonomous and dynamic learning in a didactic and entertaining way; using an interactive web resource that includes a candy dispenser that will reward the good results obtained by motivating children in learning. It is a hardware component, device, and software tailored to the students' taste and to the teachers' requirements to facilitate learning. The TDM device was designed with a layered architecture and uses a controller view model as a design pattern, allowing it to be adaptable to changes, improvements and expansions that are generated over time. The resulting design became an important tool for teaching multiplication tables in the school, being novel and didactic as a methodological systemItem Implementación de herramientas Lean Manufacturing en la industria automotriz(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Bracamonte Jiménez, Andrés Felipe; Botero Moreno, Kelly Julieth; Fiscal Silva, Carolina; Guerrero Moreno, David Rodrigo (Director)Companies belonging to the automotive industry are found as ideal platforms for the development of manufacturing activities; that is why, in the search to be more competitive nationally and internationally, they have been implementing different strategies that reach the highest levels of quality, high productivity, social responsibility and environmental care. For these reasons, I have seen the need to implement the tools of the Lean Manufacturing philosophy as a differentiating element to achieve high productivity, competitiveness and profitability. Through the consultation of articles and degree projects in universities of different vehicle producing countries, a bibliographic review was carried out where the application of Lean Manufacturing tools in the automotive industry was carried out and success stories were known in its implementation in Hirschmann Automotive Company, Metalsa Mexico, General Motors GM COLMOTORES SA. Tecnicamp, Renault SOFASA S.A.S, Maresa, workshop of Colisiones de Metrocar SA; In which more information will be expanded in the body of this article, these companies have sustained that they have been more competitive and stronger with the implementation of some of the techniques contained in Lean Manufacturing.Item Gestión y medición de riesgos en proyectos, una revisión literaria(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Caicedo Ospina, Sandra Viviana; Ramírez Guespú, Julián Andrés (Director)The present literary review shows the diversity of techniques and models that currently exist to measure the risks of a project, allows observing different points of view for the development of methodologies, the article was structured in two parts, the first emphasizes the importance to measure risks for projects to increase the chances for success and generate confidence for investors, and the second part of the document refers to existing methodologies, which have been presented by various authors that contribute to the improvement of the risk system of the projects of the projects, of the results of the combination of the results of the results of the projects. other authors do not propose their own methodologies but instead choose to implement real times and express their opinions and points of view.Item Software de gestión administrativa de seguridad social para cooperativas de trabajo asociados y empresas afines(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Valencia Bonilla, Walter; Lozada Gutiérrez, John Jairo; Dinas, SimenaThe Associated Labor Cooperatives (CTA), are defined as “non-profit associative companies, which link the personal work of their associates and their economic contributions for the production of goods, execution of works, or the provision of services in a self-managed way” (Farné, 2008, p, 262). Within the framework of Law 100, they are the means by which independents make contributions to the Comprehensive Social Security System, which is done manually, which generates errors in the individual liquidation of each contributor, such as errors of personal data, double payments for the same user, user payments without receiving the respective advance collection, making user contributions to the wrong EPS and AFP and making payments for greater value or less value. The article consists of the development of an Integral Social Security Management and Administration System for the adequate liquidation of social security contributions called “SISSI” “Information System on Integral Social Security”. The methodology used for the development of “SISSI” is “XP” (Extreme Programming), it is a software development discipline based on simplicity, communication, feedback and continuous refactoring of code, which involves the end and maximum user Group work. Before the implementation of “SISSI” when evaluating 3 companies with a monthly average of 100 affiliated contributors, an average of 13% of errors in individual settlements were presented, generating cost overruns and administrative reprocesses, then reduced the margin of error to 2% in its operations, with a benefit of 92% for the use of the “SISSI”.Item Propuesta de un sistema de gestión de inventarios para Ítems Tipo A en la empresa Distribuidora Baviera(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Cerón Martínez, Daniela Alejandra; Luna Correa, María Camila; Martínez Escobar, Nathaly (Directora)A fascinating challenge for any company that stores products, lies in the management of their inventories. The situation is permanent and growing due to the capacity and breadth of the market today, which means that companies sometimes consider the increase in their installed capacity (storage, increase in costs, resources, human capital and operations), to later provide these products to a customer or end user. The company object of the present study, Distribuidora Baviera, has 33 years of experience in the distribution of mass consumption products, started in the decade of 1985 in the municipality of Caicedonia - Valle, supplying consumer products for the home. With great motivation to move forward and provide a broader service, Distribuidora Baviera started as a store-to-store sales wholesaler, and in 1986 started sales in Sevilla - Valle, expanding the coverage of its services. In this article, an inventory management system proposal was made for type A items, since these products generate the highest demand and profitability of the business. For the development of the proposal, the following methodological aspects were integrated: Analysis of the current situation, determination of the forecast model and establishment of levels of inventories and policies. The analysis of the current situation allowed to know through interviews and surveys, how was the management of inventories in the company prior to the proposal presented. The forecast model (ABC) was the second stage where real demand played a key role in determining the histories in terms of requests for orders from customers. The levels of inventories and policies showed that inventories should be reviewed every two (02) days, operations are strengthened through continuous review, the cost of maintaining inventory is determined to be 8.33% and the percentage of orders missing according to the proposal, ranges between 0.00252%, controlling inventories and responding to the times in the dispatch to customers.Item Desarrollo de un dispositivo biomecatrónico adaptable al miembro superior humano para ejercicios funcionales de acondicionamiento físico(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Tovar Sánchez, Javier David; Franco Vargas, Sergio Alejandro; Arcos Hurtado, Edgar FranciscoRecognizing the importance of technology in the different processes of scientific, economic and social research, and putting it at the service of man in favor of improving their health conditions, has been a constant throughout history. Today these advanced technologies are offered only in specialized places for such purposes, which limits users in time and space to make use of them, not allowing the integration of such technologies to their daily lives and facilitate their living conditions. Another relevant aspect is the high costs associated with these technologies, a factor that prevents people who do not have economic resources from accessing them. Taking into account these aspects, and in order to reach a larger population, we developed a biomechatronic device adaptable to the human upper limb with double functionality, the first is the prevention of diseases associated with sedentary lifestyle through the enhancement of functional exercises of physical conditioning, focusing mainly on strengthening and bodybuilding in the early stages after an injury, the second is rehabilitation for people with mobility difficulties in the upper limb, either by natural causes or accidental, providing in a single portable device the ability to prevent and rehabilitate diseases and / or injuries of the upper limb. The first is the ability to prevent and rehabilitate diseases and / or injuries of the upper limb. In the process of developing the device, stages of planning, generation and evaluation of concepts, detailed design, construction, tests and adjustments were carried out to finally arrive at the prototype that managed to satisfactorily supply the bodybuilding and rehabilitation phases, the latter being the main axis, given the technical specifications required for bodybuilding in active users.Item Desarrollo de un aplicativo web para asignar salones de clase en la Universidad Santiago de Cali(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Sánchez Quirama, Eulises; España Urrea, Jhonattan; Ospina López, OrlandoAt present the assignment of classrooms in institutions of higher education presents a very serious problem, because it is usually done manually. At the Santiago de Cali University, this assignment is done based on the office Excel tool, this process is carried out by the University Services Department and it takes a long time to make an acceptable assignment to each academic program. After this, each academic program uploads the information to the university system and this means that the process is not as efficient. In this project a web application was designed and developed that allows a more efficient allocation to be made directly by each academic program, using an entire programming model taking into account certain restrictions by means of a calendar assignment, allowing consultations, create rooms, generate reports, minimize errors and crossings of schedules between different courses. In the world there is a great challenge associated with competitiveness in organizations, and these in order to cope with it generate actions aimed at increasing productivity, through the optimal use of their resources, training of the workforce, among others, but also there are cases in which to prioritize productivity, some areas go into the background and are not controlled in the same way, such is the case of the maintenance area. When studying the maintenance programs in the production plants, it is found that the traditional companies spend more than 55% of their time in corrective maintenance (repairing equipment after the failure) and another 35% changing parts that they think are about to be broken because They have already spent the hours they consider normal. This is the most expensive maintenance that is known. Requires a stock or inventory of parts, available personnel and unoccupied production personnel while correcting the problem. In the present work, the case of the maintenance of the tractors in a sugar mill in the Valle del Cauca region was studied, where due to inadequate maintenance, accompanied by the lack of spare parts management, the teams have partial stoppages and totals For this, a proposal was implemented that integrates the RCM methodology and the inventory management, in such a way that the importance of the items of spare parts could be ranked by means of the RCM according to the priority in the failures, afterwards the behavior of the the demand to determine the forecasting method that best fits, with this an appropriate policy was defined for the company, which in this case was (R, S).Item Evaluación del efecto de la plata coloidal sobre la calidad química del agua filtrada de dos modelos de filtros caseros(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Avilés Torres, Bryan Camilo; Narváez Garavito, María Alejandra; Silva Leal, Jorge AntonioThe purification of water and sanitation is a public health problem, where the technological gap in water treatment systems between the urban and rural population is evident, therefore, to minimize this problem, various treatment systems are implemented to supply water. Drinking water of communities with socio-economic limitations among them are the systems of home purification as the filter system by filtering bed of ceramic vessel. In this study we evaluated a ceramic pot filtration system, called Ekofil and Ekofil plus, which consists of a clay pot impregnated with colloidal silver and the Ekofil plus that has an activated carbon cartridge reinforcement impregnated with colloidal silver. The concentration of silver on the filtered effluent was evaluated in two models of ceramic pot filters used in the treatment of water for human consumption, for which the measurement of two types of synthetic water was carried out under controlled laboratory conditions for 10 weeks. The results obtained in both filtration models showed that the silver leaching was below the limit of 0.1 mg / L established by the EPA. According to the control variables pH, conductivity and turbidity, it was evident that the Ekofil filter was the one most in accord with what was established by Colombian regulations (Resolution 2115 of 2007) with a removal of 95.4%. Both systems of potabilization provide safe water in order to supply rural communities that do not have water treatment systems.Item Propuesta para el estudio de tiempos y movimientos en la línea 1 en la fabricación de sandalias en una PYME(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Ramírez Jaramillo, Stevens; Lasso García, Jhon Davis; García Delgado, Raúl Alberto (Director)Day by day the world is undergoing major economic changes, where emerging markets are becoming more important and more valuable for the global economy. It is in this scenario where business practices related to management, production and logistics become more cross-cutting to ensure the competitiveness of companies and focus the guidelines that certify their sustainability. Footwear is an important sector of the Colombian economy, providing development, employment, growth and social welfare. Currently the sector faces difficulties such as the entry of Chinese product, which in addition to being cheaper, enters through smuggling, evading taxes, so that their prices can be even more competitive. Although the increase in commercial exchange may be an opportunity for the sector, it also represents a challenge for the sector, as it will now have to compete more directly with companies from developed countries, which have better infrastructure and technology. Our SMEs should not try to compete for price, but should seek to generate added value and differentiate their products. This proposal consists of elaborating a study of times and movements in a production line for companies in the footwear industry and derivatives of EVA (ethyl, vinyl and acetate). The proposal proposes a model for the study of times and movements as a tool for the productivity of SMEs.Item Propuesta de un modelo de control de inventarios en la miscelánea El Príncipe de la ciudad de Buenaventura(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Rentería Mosquera, Steven Fernando; Saa Angulo, Kevin Fabián; Masso Alzate, John Alexander (Director)This article contains the development of an inventory management model, which leads to the improvement of logistics processes in the miscellany of the Prince of the city of Buenaventura. Given that one of the shortcomings found in the company under study, is the item of inventories, due to the slow turnover of its products affecting the cash flow because the investment is delayed to return. In turn, the company has exhausted the products that have a higher turnover. As starting point for the work started with the ABC classification of the administered references, in order to determine the most important items, the second step was to use traditional forecasting techniques based on the analysis of the demand pattern, quadratic error means of this forecast and a safety factor to determine the required stock. The model allowed determining for items A, how often to check the inventory, how much to order and when to order. It should be noted that the research process was carried out under a logical scheme and in accordance with the objectives that were set, starting with the formulation of methodological strategies that allowed maximum efficiency to the process.Item Rol de las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación en los inventarios(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Bedoya Luna, Jefersson; Mosquera Castro, Jorge Andrés; Zambrano Salgado, Yesid FabiánThe present work projects the operation of the information and communication technologies implemented to the inventories, in order to analyze the way of execution of this logistic process. From this, activities of registration, control, delivery, reduction of costs and reliability in the information obtained from stored products benefit; therefore, information and communication technologies perform an important function in the logistics chain of a company. It should be noted that the use of ICTs has become the method for evaluating the competitiveness of these processes and the continuous improvement of the flow of information obtained.Item Inteligencia de negocios como apoyo a la gestión del transporte masivo en la ciudad de Cali-Mio(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Vásquez Ramírez, Neider; Dinas, SimenaOrganizations use technology as a solution to improve efficiency and optimize their operational processes. One of its greatest inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement is hidden in the ability to manage and present the data stored in its databases. Mobility in the city of Cali has as one of its axes the integrated mass transport systems, these systems are applied to a series of means of transport, to move people in short times. They are composed of Mio Cable and Mio. This document describes how through the systems of Business Intelligence and the analysis of large volumes of data in the fields of mass public transport, efficiency in data management and analysis can be improved to make better decisions regarding the operation and service provision. The central focus of the work was to consult various academic articles on the aspects of implementation of a Business Intelligence system in the processes and activities of providing the mass transport service and how to improve their competitiveness to make better decisions through analytical reports, strategic and operational dashboards, designed to visualize and transmit the information to the directives of the entity and users that require it.Item Herramienta para la Adquisición de Ventiladores Mecánicos en IPS Públicas(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Narváez Arteaga, Diego Fernando; Bermeo Varón, Leonardo AntonioCurrently the use of Mechanical Ventilation in patients has become more frequent due to the high rate of Respiratory Failure. Mechanical Ventilation is the procedure of temporary replacement of normal respiratory function, due to a pathological disorder, with the objective of overcoming the cause of respiratory failure and seeking to disconnect the patient from the ventilator in the improvement phase, once the acute phase has passed. The purpose of this project was to design a tool that would allow the evaluation of technology in mechanical ventilators in three different health care entities. Pilot tests were carried out at the Santa Sofía del Pacifico Clinic in Buenaventura, the María Ángel Clinic in Tuluá and the Isaías Duarte Cancino Hospital in Cali, for a period of three months between April and June 2018. The information for the design of the tool was extracted from manuals, suppliers and physiotherapists, evaluating the main characteristics of the needs and pathology of the patients. During the test process it was possible to check or verify the assessment and acceptance in the clinical field. Finally, the respective adjustments were made for the operation of the technology assessment and the selection program was the most adequate and functional, being accepted by the health care entities, offering them a free tool that would allow them to choose the best technology and cost-benefit relationship and in turn satisfying the needs of patients who require the support of Mechanical Ventilation with the appropriate technology for weaning or recovery.Item Integración e implementación de redes convergentes para el soporte de IoT en Smart Cities(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Palacios Tovar, Sebastián; Velez Varela, FernandoThis article is the conceptual achievement in IoT, Machine learning and artificial intelligence, which bases the current integration and implementation of convergent networks for the support of current technologies, supported by hardware and software elements applied in Smart Cities models. These seek to determine sustainability margins through improvement processes related to infrastructure, innovation and technology, to reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions. For this, it is intended to use the Digital Network Architecture® (DNA®) model of converged networks to support IoT references in Smart cities and, in turn, establish which network integration process is more efficient for use in some parameters of these. The arrival of new technologies such as 5G and the growth of the Internet of Things (IoT) have forced telecommunications operators to converge into a single network to maximize the use of their resources. Convergent networks are constantly developing, because there are increasing demands for connectivity and data transmission.Item Transformación Digital aplicando E-Marketing al proceso de ventas de la empresa Mikino Moda Fashion(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Belalcázar Hurtado, Magda Cecilia; Cubillos Mena, Andrés Felipe; Alzate Sánchez, Juan CamiloThe use of mobile applications has become part of the daily life of people, in this era where digital transformation is necessary for businesses that want to remain in force, as customers who are digital, use their mobile devices every day to see videos, request food or transportation, listen to music, pay bills, etc. In this article, you can find a comparison of other applications of digital electronic commerce (m-commerce) that has become a new economic mode, especially with the increase in online shopping [9].
