- Item Pautas y prácticas de crianza para la prevención del abuso sexual en la primera infancia: Estudio de 16 familias del barrio el Cortijo en Cali(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Atehortua Capote, Jazmín Alexis; Valencia Micolta, Natalia; Quinayá Ocampo, Diana Patricia (Asesora)The present research work entitled parenting guidelines and upbringing practices for the prevention of sexual abuse in early childhood: Study of 16 families in El Cortijo neighborhood in Cali, seeks to recognize parenting guidelines and practices in preventing sexual abuse in the early childhood in 16 families in the El Cortijo neighborhood of the 20th commune of the city of Cali. For the fulfillment of this purpose, this research was carried out working with 16 families with children between the ages 0 to 6 years, that is to say, with early childhood living in the neighborhood El Cortijo of the commune 20 in Cali city, a survey and semi-structured interviews were conducted by parents and carers who became the main informants of the upbringing guidelines and practices of parenting for the prevention of sexual abuse. This formative research exercise was guided by the following research question, what are the parenting guidelines and upbringing practices used by the 16 families of El Cortijo neighborhood of Cali at the commune 20 for the prevention of sexual abuse in early childhood?
- Item La relación epistémica entre la pedagogía crítica y el Trabajo Social Comunitario en el Movimiento de la Reconceptualización latinoamericana(Universidad Santiago Cali, 2019) Sánchez López, Paula Andrea; Prada Ortiz, Dania Esther; Gil Claros, María Fernanda (Asesora)This research aims to analyze the epistemic relationship between critical pedagogy and Community Social Work in the Latin American reconceptualization movement. The type of research is documentary with a qualitative approach. The analysis is based on the reflexive reading of the documents that served as support to outline, the way in which knowledge goes beyond its meaning as scientific knowledge and how everyday knowledge has been hidden by the dominant knowledge. In this way, it is sought to highlight the importance of returning to the knowledge that germinates in the events, to implement the critical.pedagogy as a strategy of accompaniment to the communities for this purpose a critical approach is made from the proposal of Ezequiel Ander-Egg.

Estudio de caso del corregimiento de San José del Guayabo(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2020) Campaz Ocampo, Lucy Daniela; Lerma Ballesteros, Gloria Patricia (Directora)The current research study named “I AM NOT A DUMB TO BE HIDDEN” socioeconomics and political conditions associated to the expansion of FARC/EP to Mejicano River during 2010/2015. Case study of San José del Guayabo township, is the result of an academic process that began with the course of the research seminar, this is an answer to the fulfilment of requirements to get the university degree. Beyond of the fulfilment of requirement this research study answered questions that many people of San José del Guayabo make about the presence of FARC/EP in their territory. The research work is divided into three major stages, the first stage presents elements that structure the research, such as the background that accounts for the research carried out on the topic proposed here; the second stage present three chapters that account for the analysis of each specific objective, making an approach that respond to the reality studied from a perspective of totality; finally, the analysis of the results, conclusions and recommendations is presented in terms of the contributions of the research in the process of disciplinary and professional training for Social Work.

- Item Diferentes perspectivas epistemológicas de la precariedad laboral en personas en situación de discapacidad motora: una revisión documental(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2020) Alvarez Lozano, Helen; Valencia Esterilla, Lázaro Hernando; Ospina Nieto, Yovany (Director)The objective of this research is to analyze, through a documentary review, the impact that the precariousness of employment has on the social conditions and integral human development of people with motor disabilities. For this, a documentary review was carried out through the different epistemic and literary perspectives, carrying out each of the categories of analysis such as: Job insecurity, world of work, social conditions, disability, and integral human development, generating a response to the research question through the results obtained. 4 The main findings are: The impact on social conditions due to job insecurity, job insecurity experienced by people with disabilities, the lack of social and labor inclusion in people with disabilities, concept of disability from the social theory of disability, the current world of work, and job insecurity.

- Item La actitud ética de los padres de familia en el cuidado de niños/as y jóvenes diagnosticados con leucemia linfocítica aguda, asistidos en la Fundación Carlos Pórtela Valdiri, de la ciudad de Cali(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2020) García Rodríguez, Karen; Gil Claros, María Fernanda (Asesora)The main objective of this research was to analyze the ethical attitude of parents in the care of children diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukemia, assisted at the Carlos Pórtela Valdiri Foundation, in the city of Cali. In this purpose, the tension between the socially installed medical discourse and the practical knowledge of the family is located. The methodology used for the research corresponding to a qualitative approach, since it allows knowing the experience of the parents in relation to the care of their children diagnosed with leukemia, this from the affective exercise of care. The population sample of the present investigation is of 4 parents with children between the ages of 7 and 17 years who have been diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia and who in turn have attended the Carlos Pórtela Valdiri Foundation. Among the findings, it was possible to know that parents implement care for their children and young people diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia from the guidelines of medical treatment, which assists them with medications, chemotherapies and other procedures. In this sense, it is observed how clinical medical knowledge manages to spread to the knowledge of families, making their own knowledge invisible.
- Item Estrategias de educación inclusiva para personas con discapacidad implementadas por docentes en una institución educativa de la comuna 20 de cali(2020) Orozco Vanegas, Tania Alejandra; Gonzalez Osorio, Maria Fernanda (Directora)Since it is evident that in Colombia, people with disabilities receive little or no education, the educational institution Liceo Cerros del Valle has implemented an inclusion process in recent years, in this sense, the inclusive education strategies that teachers have implemented were analyzed. Through, the socio-labor characterization of teachers, the barriers that limit learning and participation and the identification of inclusive education strategies. Being the population with disabilities one of the most exposed to situations of exclusion, it is approached from social work as a fight for social equality and the elimination of barriers, which prevent the full development and educational success of people with disabilities. Thus, for this quantitative cross-sectional descriptive work, a survey of 20 teachers from the institution, an interview and an observation visit were used as an instrument, where little teacher training on inclusive education was evidenced, as well as barriers and difficulties that limit education inclusive, however, teaching, permanence and empathy strategies were also identified between teachers and students with disabilities.
