This article deals with the formative sport, Physical Conditioning of a Higher Education institution in the city of Cali. Its objective was to analyze the methods used for teaching-learning and their incidence in students, using an observation guide and a survey with three open questions. This allowed us to identify 3 methods used most frequently; the scientific, the mixed and the technique procedure and 3 less frequently; the global, analytical and traditional method. It ends with a methodological proposal that could be suggested to future professionals in the field who do not have experience.
