Item Salud sexual y reproductiva en adolescentes: una revisión bibliográfica con enfoque de género 2019-2025(2025) Hernández Ríos, Isabella; Londoño Tapasco, Paula Andrea; Usuriaga Ricaurte, Nicol Valeria; Leal Valencia, Claudia Patricia (Directora); Alzate Velásquez, Natali (Directora)During adolescence, sexual and reproductive health represents a challenge in contexts marked by structural inequalities, such as Colombia's. This literature review analyzed the gender perspective in the way in which cases related to sexual health are addressed by adolescents treated at the HUV, a reference medical center in the southwest of the country. A qualitative approach with a hermeneutical paradigm was used, through this bibliographic review of scientific studies published between 2019 and 2025. The articles were selected based on criteria of topicality, relevance, peer review and gender approach, prioritizing Latin American research. The review identified fragmented care, focused on immediate clinical events, but insufficient in the promotion of sexual rights from an educational, psychosocial and preventive perspective. The persistence of revictimizing practices, stigmatization, and the absence of sustainable institutional programs that respond to the specific realities of adolescent girls, men, and non-binary people were evidenced. It is concluded that the health system, particularly in institutions such as hospitals, must move towards a comprehensive model of adolescent care with a focus on gender, intersectionality, and rights. It is recommended to strengthen comprehensive sex education, create differentiated care routes, train health personnel and articulate efforts between educational, community and hospital sectors. Likewise, the need to produce evidence with a differential approach that guides more inclusive and transformative public policies is highlighted.Item Violencia de género en mujeres afrodescendientes: experiencia organizativa y territorial en el Pacífico colombiano(2025) Rojas Alegría, Yerly; Cuero Belalcazar, Yoleysa; Ángel Gutierrez, Ingrid Valentina; Alzate Velásquez, Natali (Directora); Leal Valencia, Claudia Patricia (Directora)Gender-based violence in Colombia affects Afro-descendant women most intensely, especially in excluded territories such as the Colombian Pacific. There, structural racism, poverty, and state neglect generate multiple forms of symbolic, physical, economic, social, and psychological violence. This article analyzes the manifestation of gender-based violence against women in the Colombian Pacific region in community spaces that promote female empowerment through collective work. The research adopts a qualitative approach, and a critical paradigm developed through a documentary review, analyzing 31 academic sources selected from a total of 41 publications reviewed between 2018 and 2025, extracted from databases such as Scopus, PubMed, SciELO, Mendeley, Redalyc, Google Scholar, and the Valle digital library. The analysis categories were based on ethnic groups (Afro-descendant women), intersectionality, gender-based violence, and gender. According to literature reviews, these women face intersectional violence exacerbated by territorial and ethnic-racial exclusion, rendering them invisible in public policies. Organizations like AGROCAÑA seek to strengthen their autonomy and leadership, which is key to ensuring that public policies adopt an intersectional approach and support community processes connected to Afro-descendant women, ensuring their participation in prevention, care, and reparation strategies with a differentiated approach.
