Abstract
The objective of this research was to establish relationships between aesthetics, learning styles and stereotypes with specific codes, signs and images. Therefore, students from the Santiago de Cali University belonging, consciously or not, to one or more stereotypes were selected, in order to identify their dominant learning styles from David Kolb's learning model, establishing relationships with aesthetics. and stereotypes. This qualitative research with quantitative approaches occurs through the observation of students who have their own aesthetics, their groups and, therefore, their particular learning styles. The above opens a field of action little explored in education, social studies and aesthetics. The tools used were the Honey and Alonso learning styles questionnaire and focus groups. The results showed that the convergent and assimilative styles are the most dominant and that students recognize themselves as part of a stereotype.

La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo establecer relaciones entre las estéticas, los estilos de aprendizaje y los estereotipos con códigos, signos e imágenes específicas. Por lo tanto, se seleccionaron estudiantes de la Universidad Santiago de Cali pertenecientes, de manera conscientes o no, a uno o varios estereotipos, con el fin de identificar sus estilos de aprendizajes dominantes desde el modelo de aprendizaje de David Kolb estableciendo relaciones con las estéticas y los estereotipos. Esta investigación de índole cualitativa con aproximaciones cuantitativas se da a través de la observación de estudiantes que tienen sus propias estéticas, sus grupos y, por ende, sus estilos particulares de aprender. Lo anterior abre un campo de acción poco explorado en la educación, en los estudios sociales y las estéticas. Las herramientas utilizadas fueron, el cuestionario de estilos de aprendizaje de Honey y Alonso y grupos focales, Los resultados mostraron que el estilos convergente y asimilador, son los más dominantes y que los estudiantes se reconocen como parte de un estereotipo.
