Abstract
En el estudio se propone una estrategia metodológica mediada por el uso de las TIC con un enfoque del B-learning, o aprendizaje mixto, donde se conserve la orientación presencial y se complemente con herramientas pedagógicas virtuales, en búsqueda de fortalecer el proceso de Enseñanza- aprendizaje de un grupo de estudiantes que pertenecen al curso de Enfermería de la Universidad Santiago de Cali que está orientado a capacitar a los estudiantes hacia el cuidado niño(a), adolescente y adulto joven.
La investigación se fundamentó en los diferentes estudios acerca de los
diseños instruccionales, en la identificación de características propias y percepciones del grupo de docentes y de estudiantes y en las características de la plataforma LMS disponible en la Universidad; para así llegar a una propuesta metodológica que sea coherente y adaptado a las actuales teorías del aprendizaje orientadas hacia la enseñanza centrada en el estudiante a la construcción de su propio conocimiento, con un aprendizaje significativo, colaborativo y que además motive y despierte interés en los actores del proceso y que lo preparen para las necesidades del contexto actual.
En este estudio se encontró que tienen gran relevancia el conocimiento de la comunidad académica para plantear la estrategia y que los elementos fundamentales para el éxito de su diseño son la capacitación y motivación de los docentes, crear las condiciones necesarias para potenciar las competencias en el uso de las herramientas TIC en los estudiantes y los recursos que se utilicen en ello.
Description
The study proposes a methodological strategy mediated by the use of ICT with a B-learning approach, or mixed learning, where the face-to-face orientation is preserved and supplemented by virtual pedagogical tools, in order to strengthen the Teaching- Learning process of a group of students that belong to the course of Nursing of the University of Santiago de Cali that is oriented to train the students towards the child care, adolescent and young adult.
The research was based on the different studies about the instructional designs, on the identification of own characteristics and perceptions of the group of teachers and students and on the characteristics of the LMS platform available in the University; to arrive at a methodological proposal that is coherent and adapted to the current theories of learning oriented towards student-centered teaching, to the construction of their own knowledge, with meaningful, collaborative learning, which also motivates and arouses interest in the actors of the process, to prepare it for the needs of the current context.
In this study, it was found that the knowledge of the academic community to present the strategy is of great relevance and that the fundamental elements for the success of its design are the training and motivation of the teachers, create the necessary conditions to increase the skills in the use of the TIC tools in the students and the resources that are used in it.
