Item Análisis de herramientas de software gratuitas para implementar el comercio electrónico(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2022-09-08) Timana Cardenas, Michael; Salazar Castro, Juan Camilo .; Restrepo Castillo, Edgar AlirioThis article is intended to serve as a reference in the construction of criteria for the identification and implementation of free ecommerce tools. The first section, by way of introduction, explains the origin of transactions and the milestone of information digitization. Then, the articulation and evolution that has taken place in parallel with the interconnection of devices and applications. The following subsection describes the general structure of online commerce. References to trends such as the emergence of bitcoin and the effect that the bitcoin pandemic has had on its operation. Mention is made of the classification of business models according to the way a company offers its product and service. The advantages over traditional commerce are highlighted, where global interconnection and computer sciences support and strengthen logistic processes. The structure and components that contribute to the synergy in the system are described. The legal framework, necessary for the consistency and projection of the organizations, is addressed. Based on the above, the spectrum of free tools identified is characterized and described. There is no totally free tool, since the expected results in any company require a minimum investment cost. A balance of the advantages and limitations of each platform is presented. It ends with recommendations to meet the criteria and characteristics of the company for the selection of the scenario and context in which it is needed.Item Análisis de la implementación tecnológica de IOT en la industria agrónoma en Colombia(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2022-11-18) Cano Hincapié, Carlos David; Yepes Hernández, Juan Felipe; Arboleda Martínez, Monica HelenThe Internet of Things (IoT, Internet of the Things) is the name given to the network that is created by exchanging data through the Internet on a measurement or physical object, in order to know, specify and subsequently analyze the data collected. Due to the relevance that this concept has taken and its application, in this review we will cover an analysis of the different ways in which IoTs were used in the last decade and are currently used more frequently in the agricultural industry in Colombia; focusing on the implementation of precision agriculture, wireless sensor network, drones for multispectral imaging and data collection through the IoT, obtaining greater profitability and optimizing the value chain and the incorporation of high precision technology in the field and in the industry, continues to transform from agriculture as we know it, to the present, generating a structural advance for the future with cutting-edge technology that channels this concept. It compares different current fixed-path methods and how this could enhance the flight performance of these devices, proposing the city of Cali as a use case scenario. A significant finding is observed through the development of this project, which results in a notable improvement in autonomously identifying various obstacles using the code developed within reinforcement learning environments. This advancement enables the machine, within a virtual environment, to determine the optimal route to reach the designated destination while navigating around obstacles. Considering that the city of Cali presents numerous obstacles that must be navigated during flight execution, the methodology and obtained results also highlight that reinforcement learning, when applied to delivery using drones, could be a suitable solution to optimize delivery times for various items. It can address challenges such as delivering different supplies or materials to hard-to-reach locations.Item Aplicación del modelo matemático similitud de coseno para identificar gustos de usuario en una red social(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2021) Osorio Vélez, Carlos Augusto; Sánchez Quiroga, Christian; Dussan Clavijo, Ciro AntonioThe present research establishes as a general objective the application of the mathematical model similarity of cosine to identify user tastes in a social network, incorporating an algorithm that provides precision, data cohesion and performance. The methodology used is applied-quantitative, focused on the needs and practical searches for the execution of operational processes and systems, with the Scrum model the framework was developed that planned the Sprints with weekly phases during the months of November and April, performing the proper model inspections. On the other hand, the technological advances of the last decades, the development of new devices, higher transmission speeds, connectivity requirements, the development of new IoT applications and online services, make traditional network architectures that were thought to endure unsustainable over time and imposed as standards, today they are little used, such is the case of X.25, ATM, among others. therefore, a design evolution of these network architectures is demanden. At this point, the software defined network (SDN) together with the Openflow protocol appear as an evolution of a viable alternative network architecture that allows programming the network and opening the possibility of creating new services and more efficient applications to meet the requirements. Finally, this work starts from a general context explaining the basic concepts related to software-defined networks, the types of controllers, layers and interfaces it handles. In this vein, the main objective of this monographic article is to present the threats in cybernetic terms to which some companies were exposed in 2018 and 2019 respectively. In this vein, it is important to establish that the attacks to which the different companies that access any Colombian network are exposed are imminent, therefore, this document allows to know the most recognized threats to which some companies have been exposed. in the periods already mentioned. Similarly, this monographic article allows an approach to the different cyber security risks that arise from the development of new information and information technologies in the world and specifically in Colombia. The ransomware WannaCry this malicious program that incorporates code to perform the exploitation of vulnerabilities of windows operating systems, which the objective of an attack is to encrypt sensitive information asking for rescue for it. This solution arises in response to the need to improve administrative processes, which were carried out manually, causing increases in costs and time, to the detriment of the quality of customer service. The developed application allows the management and optimization of the appointment processes in an oral health entity, such as assignment, cancellation and confirmation of appointments. For the construction of the application, the IONIC framework was used, which provides tools and services to develop hybrid mobile applications using Web technologies such as CSS, HTML5 and JAVASCRIPT. The development methodology used was Mobile-D. It was found that the selection of the Mobile-D Methodology with its various phases (exploration, initialization, product phase, stabilization phase and testing phase) was the most appropriate for the successful completion of the application. This satisfactorily met the objectives set out in the project and the client's requirements. That is why several institutions adopt different approaches to distance education. Given the above, a comparative study of face-to-face and synchronous academic performance is carried out between Santiago de Cali University and Universidad Libre de Cali, where a survey was conducted with 300 students from both universities. The Saaty's Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) multicriteria analysis method was used to analyze how difficult it was for students to achieve their learning objectives and maintain the quality of distance classes. The obtained results showed that throughout all the classes, many students encountered numerous issues such as connection problems or power failures. It is also noticeable that there has been an increase in individual work by students and a lack of class participation. In this work, we will take a look at these advances, the models that were designed to respond to the requirements that arose as this system evolved, the methods applied for these evaluations, which consist of 4 stages, starting with preprocessing the audio , performing the analysis of its duration, its amplitude and the frequency in which it is transmitted, segmenting it to obtain the content of the audio, extracting its characteristics such as the presence of ambient noise and the language of the audio to distinguish the presence of an accent that It is possible to evaluate, and finally the comparison of the results obtained in the evaluation, all those processes made applying the Mozilla Deepspeech methodology, with which tests are carried out comparing the text obtained by the methodology and the real one obtained from the audio, with the objective that the system can obtain the clearest possible interpretation of the audio it is receiving, resulting in the understanding of the au He said that he receives the program, the way in which he receives it, and the capacity he has to analyze it, and this result will give continuity to the evolution of the capabilities of technology, being another demonstration of how the human being also evolves for each time make a closer relationship with technology.Item Enriquecimiento de la Visualización de Información mediante el uso de Realidad Aumentada – Caso de Estudios: Periódico Utópicos de la Universidad Santiago de Cali(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2020-10-14) Varela Mejía, Santiago; Rodríguez Flores, Daniel Andrés; García Rincón, Juan David; Behar Leiser, Olga Grace; Dinas, SimenaThe Utópicos newspaper is an informative bulletin of the Santiago de Cali University, it is a proposal of the Laboratory of the Faculty of Communication and Advertising that is defined as an informative medium produced by students and in turn, is used as a bridge between student practices and entry into working life. This academic exercise has been achieved in seven (7) years, consolidating itself at the University with its bimonthly printed publications, a digital publication, an interactive proposal and a space on the radio. As a form of intervention to the printed medium, this project proposes the use of new technologies, such as augmented reality to enrich impressions, through multimedia content exploiting the use of mobile devices for this and taking advantage of the high penetration that they have in the market. The development was done with Unity, and the Vuforia SDK (Software Development Kit). Two main results were obtained from this project: a WEB application was developed to manage the basic components for the operation of augmented reality in the Vuforia environment and a mobile application was created for the visualization of these components at the user level, this point with the aim of enriching multimedia content at the newspaper level. The tests carried out included compatibility tests between devices with Android and iOS operating systems and time flows were also tested when managing the components from the Web. In general, the final product has as highlights the flexibility and scalability of development and implementation, thus allowing adaptation of components and additional requirements based on the needs of administration and visualization of multimedia content at the level of Augmented Reality.Item Establecer un manual de seguridad informática para la empresa Recartuchos ubicada en la ciudad de Santiago de Cali(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2023-10-26) Villa Loaiza, Andres Felipe; Cerón, LorenaNowadays, safeguarding a company's information is one of the most important tasks, as it ensures a correct administrative and operational functioning. In this monograph, the situation of a Cali company called Recartuchos is covered, which since 2018 has been presenting cyber-attacks, being phishing the most common threat. Phishing is a social engineering technique, which consists of sending emails that impersonate the identity of companies and request personal information from the user. The problem was analyzed, seeking to implement as a solution, the establishment of a user manual on computer security, which consists of two parts: user manual for system administrators and manual for end users of computer equipment, these documents seek to guide officials in actions to protect the privacy and integrity of data stored on workstations, to ensure the correct use and appropriation of information.Item Gamificación aplicada en la educación superior: Una revisión sistemática de la literatura(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2020-10-22) Quintero, Erwin Andres; Otalvaro, Jorge Jhonnyer; Ordoñez Serna, Farid .; Dinas, SimenaFor today's generation of students, educators find it increasingly challenging to engage and keep students motivated using traditional teaching models, which has led them to explore alternative tools to integrate into their classes. One of the tools that have been explored is the integration of games into learning to increase motivation towards goals, promote effective teamwork and improve communication, among others. The creation of this research is motivated by the characterization and the search of the tools used by teachers to improve their teaching and learning activities, therefore, this article presents a systematic review of the literature on the implementation of gamification applied to teaching in higher education. A systematic search was conducted to select articles related to gamification in education for this review. The main objective is to analyze the role of gamification in higher education in terms of improving learning outcomes.
