Item Método de evaluación del riesgo en seguridad y salud en el trabajo(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2017) Cuero Perez, Vanessa; Alvarez Campo, Carlos Abel; Bedoya Gutierrez, MariaAccording to statistical information of the labor risk fund, it is found that in 2016 there were 688,101 companies affiliated with the general system of occupational risks, of which 9,505,769 corresponded to dependent workers and 532,106 independent workers for a total of 10,037,875 workers; during this period 702,932 occupational accidents were rated, 10,536 occupational diseases, 602 deaths from skilled work accidents and 5 deaths from skilled occupational diseases. It is found that the rate of accident at work per 100 workers is 7 and the rate of occupational disease per 100,000 workers is 105.23. (3) Although the number of official reports made by employers does not reach 100% of the events that occurred, it is important to start with all the activities necessary to mitigate the unsafe or risk conditions caused by working conditions (low and high risk companies ) to which workers are exposed and which cause accidents and occupational diseases
