The instrument was applied the Nordic Questionnaire of Kuorinka and the Functional Tests, by the researcher Javier Francisco Pineda Cuero, to 100% of the operators who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. 58% of the population under study reported symptoms at the neck level. On the left shoulder 24%, 18% on the right shoulder and 4% on both shoulders. 55% in the Dorso-Lumbar region. 12% in the Right Elbow-Forearm, and the Left Elbow-Forearm, only 1% reported pain in both Elbow-Forearms. 15% in the Left Hand Wrist, 12% in the Right Hand Wrist, and only 9% reported symptomatology in both Hand Wrists. 21% in the Left Hip-Knee, 18% in the Right Hip-Knee and 15% manifested this symptomatology in both Hip-Knee. 18% in the Right Leg-Ankle-Foot, with a similar percentage (18%) in the Contralateral Leg-Ankle-Foot and only 3% had symptoms in both Leg-Ankle-Feet. The movement of loads in itself is a work of high risk given its dimensions and weights that together with the dynamic variables added by the crane bridge can transform an agile and efficient work into a large-scale industrial disaster. That is the reason why carrying out these works with due awareness and the appropriate level of knowledge of both the load and the capacity and operation of the machine, is essential to preserve the integrity of the operations, the professional qualification of the operator and essentially the protection of life (1). The methodology was a descriptive-cross-sectional study, implementing the extra- labor a psychosocial risk questionnaire and the Socio-demographic data sheet endorsed by the Ministry of Social Protection and the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, which found that 30% of the surveyed workers showed a high and very high risk in terms of time outside work, which indicates the need to intervene on them. The health sector in Colombia in recent years has been noted with multiple deficiencies in the system, therefore it is necessary to find necessary mechanisms and creations of high quality services that make up an IPS in the field of OSH . Taking into account the above, a proposal is presented for the implementation of an institution providing services in the area of occupational safety and health, where the aptitude of the worker is issued through the normative and legal part, through the corresponding tests , on which the conditions for the entrance of the collaborators to a company are determined, managing to take care and promote healthy lifestyles to all the human talent.Item Condiciones de medio ambiente de trabajo y de salud de trabajadores informales de las fincas ganaderas en el corregimiento de municipio de Patia-Cauca(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2017) Medina Hernández, Yolima Soranyi; Paz Velasquez, Eliana; Tunubala, Gloria AnaisAn applied work was developed to know the working and health conditions and environment of the informal workers of the cattle farms of the corregimiento el puro, municipality of Patía, department of Cauca during 2016. Among its results it was determined that socioeconomically the population has a high labor informality due to the fact that social security coverage is 94%, while the pension issue is only 9.3 and the coverage in professional risks corresponds to 5.3%, which does not It allows to assume the operating costs generated by the occupational and health risks of these workers. Similarly, in the analysis of health conditions, it was established that although they consider their health to be relatively good at 88.9%, they are exposed to a variety of risks in posture, where 50% of workers work standing, in addition 94% of workers are exposed to the use of pesticides, tools and environments that increase their risks in this activity, where even some of them have already suffered serious accidents between 1 and 3 events in the last year and 41.2% have or have been diagnosed by occupational diseases. Finally, in the working conditions, a high chemical risk could be appreciated because 81.3% of the workers carry out fumigation work, generating that 52.9% of the respondents have been subject to chemical poisoning; compared to the physical load, 37.9% execute repeated movements of hands and arms, 27.6% perform forced movements, 24.1% lift or move heavy loads and 10.3% perform rotary trunk movements; to public order according to the presence of groups Subversives in the municipality of Patia 84.2% of these workers have been exposed to acts of terrorism. Millions of workers in the Colombian territory and in the rest of the world, daily expose their lives when handling chemical substances, many of them guilty of the appearance of occupational diseases, either by direct exposure to the physical properties of these agents, as well as also by the levels of exposure of workers to these substances.Item Prevalencia del síndrome de Burnout y factores relacionados en el personal de urgencias de una institución prestadora de Salud de mediana complejidad en la ciudad de Santiago de Cali en el año 2017(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2017) Alonso Esteban, Sandra Viviana; Ortíz Rodríguez, Leidy Rocio; Cubides, Angela MaríacBurnout, also known as professional attrition syndrome, emotional overload syndrome or burn syndrome, is a clinical syndrome that was described by the psychiatrist Freudenberguer in 1973, as a “state of fatigue or frustration that is caused by dedication to a cause, way of life or relationship that does not produce the expected reinforcement ”(1). In the beginning this phenomenon was limited to professionals in the field of human services, however, later studies have found that everyone who performs a job is susceptible to suffering from it. At present, it is known as a syndrome due to its various causes, it is characterized by the fact that it causes exhaustion and its manifestation is usually evident physically, however, it can be expressed emotionally and psychologically (2). SBO is a disorder that is increasingly known and diagnosed in the clinical setting, so much so that the World Health Organization since 2000 classified it as a occupational risk (3). The ILO also includes it in its publication made in April 2016 where it is classified as “the prolonged response to chronic exposure to emotional and interpersonal psychosocial risks at work” (4). Likewise, it is classified under code Z73.0 in ICD 9 (International Classification of Diseases), as “problems handling life difficulties: Exhaustion”, and in ICD 10 as “Burnout”. As a diagnosis of the problem that represents the syndrome in the sites Of work and risk that it carries for the safety and health of the nurses and doctors. Therefore, the relevance of work for the company, society and academia is justified; Its theoretical, conceptual, labor and legal dimensions are addressed; Without forgetting the methodological design and some ethical considerations. Consequently, the sociodemographic characterization of health professionals is made; Emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and personal fulfillment are described with the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) questionnaire; And, it analyzes the relation of the three dimensions with the prevalence of Burnout syndrome. However, some workers do not have a clear awareness of this phenomenon and the preventive measures that must be taken against these risks, since they have the wrong perception that they have been working for X time in this type of work without any standard of security and without fatal results and for this reason, they do not see the need to comply with industrial safety standards. This perception is evidenced mostly in workers in the construction sector who are hired by the end of the work and with a precarious level of education. Generally, accidents due to fall from height are fatal or severe and a large percentage of them occur when workers perform occasional tasks that are punctual or different from those of the company's operation. Among the biomechanical risk factors we find repetitive movements, prolonged postures and muscular overload, among others.
