Binary choice models are applied to measure the probability of hiring professionals under 30 years of age, using data from the Great Integrated Household Survey (GEIH) for the period in question as a basis. With a quantitative and microeconomic approach, the main results obtained are that the male sex of the individual positively influences the probability of employment with respect to women; Being the head of household and age also have a positive effect on job placement, and the cities with the highest demand for skilled labor in the country are Bogotá, Medellín and Cali.
