In 2014, Tuning Latin America was carried out, a study that analyzed the profiles of the undergraduate program of Business Administration of the Universities of Latin America to finally propose the specific competences that the graduate of this career must have to face the labor market and professional, it is necessary to analyze the profile proposed by this study compared to the profile of the Business Administrator of the Santiago de Cali University.Item La importancia de la gestión de los procesos de negocio: impulsando la eficiencia empresarial(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2023) Fernandez Hernandez, Melissa; Aguirre Almeida, Monica Tatiana; Medina Ortega, Lesly Catalina; Diaz Grajales, Carmen Alicia (Director)The general objective of this article is to investigate and analyze the relevance of business process management (BPM) and its influence on organizations. To achieve this, a methodology based on a deductive approach is used, which reviews previous research by several authors, starting from a general perspective and moving towards a more specific one. The study is organized into three sections: the first focuses on defining and conceptualizing BPM and its role in organizations, while the second highlights the advantages of BPM. Finally, the third section consists of a discussion in which it is evaluated whether the initial hypothesis is indeed fulfilled. The main results indicate that BPM is essential for the optimization of business processes, which in turn increases efficiency and effectiveness through systematic management. This results in a significant improvement in the operation of companies, making the most of their resources and reducing both costs and unnecessary time. The fundamental conclusion is that BPM not only adds value to organizations by enabling them to identify, analyze and optimize their processes on an ongoing basis, but it is also crucial for fostering innovation and improving decision making. This efficiency and adaptability are vital for success and survival in today's competitive business world.Item Tendencias de la gestión humana: convergencia con el liderazgo(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2022) Gutierrez Chamorro Angel David; Saldarriaga Jimenez Nhora Alexandra; Castro Ruiz, Camilo Andres (Director)In the organization, when seeking to be efficient and effective, current trends must be taken into account to have a competitive advantage, for this reason a review of the literature was carried out in 30 articles to identify some of the current trends in GH, Recruitment and Leadership, It was also sought to find a convergence due to the fact that no research was found that would provide a direction for future research, criteria were used for the search where articles from a maximum of 5 years ago were taken into account and that convergence with leadership could be found. It is concluded that organizations are now focused on a more human part that allows decentralizing positions, and is achieved when leaders are able to manage knowledge in a more productive way
