Item Violencia vicaria y estereotipos de género en el abuso familiar(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2024) Mina Carbonero, Laura Alexandra; Mazo Reyes, Paula Andrea; Eugenia Prado, Beatriz (Director)Throughout history, it has been evident how gender violence has had a great impact on society, especially on women. This form of violence can manifest itself in various ways, such as psychological, physical, emotional, sexual and economic violence. It is rooted in inequalities of power and control, and has profound impacts on women's physical and mental health. Vicarious violence is a form that not only affects women, but also their sons and daughters, since it is exercised by a member of the family circle who abuses their power through control and manipulation. This study aims to increase understanding and awareness of vicarious violence, highlighting its impact on minors and in the gender context. Through a systematic review using the PRISMA method, 50 articles were selected between 2019 and 2024, thus analyzing that the majority of research is international, with a high percentage in Spain and Ecuador. It was also evident that vicarious violence in Colombia is an issue that does not have much relevance since it can be confused with gender violence or domestic violence, but we can see that although they go hand in hand, they are different issues. It seeks to identify strategies to address and prevent this type of violence in the family context, promoting safe and healthy environments for children.
