Item Consecuencias psicosociales que genera el abandono familiar del adulto mayor(2024) Valencia Navarrete, Harold Steban; Ospina Nieto, Yovany (Director)The abandonment of the elderly in the San Miguel geriatric and elderly hospital in the city of Cali, is a latent problem that affects the well-being of adults, as the main objective of the research is to know the main psychosocial consequences generated by family abandonment to three older adults. The work is approached from three theoretical perspectives, in 1 human development is addressed through Bronfenbrenner's ecological theory, this is related to the social representations that Moscovici speaks in his theory and how it affects the well-being of adults. It ends with the emotional factors of Bowlby's attachment theory. The qualitative methodology is used to understand meanings, experiences and perspectives of the participants in detail, it is approached from semi-structured interviews and life stories to understand everything that happened before and after arriving at the institution. The results found in the present investigation show that the abandonment of the elderly has a negative impact on the emotional and social health of adults, these findings highlight the importance of strengthening family networks and promoting an effective and safe environment for the quality of life of adults.Item Víctimas silenciadas: El maltrato hacia mujeres adolescentes gestantes(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2024) Cuero Cuero, Paula Marcela; Ordoñez Angulo, Rosa Daniela; Prado, Beatriz Eugenia (Directora)Abuse of pregnant adolescent women is one of the most common and least visible forms of violence in today's society. This type of mistreatment causes numerous affectations that significantly impact their mental, physical and emotional health, and have repercussions in their physical, psychological and social spheres. This literature review aims to describe the evidence published between 2017 and 2024 on maltreatment towards pregnant adolescent women, seeking to describe the most frequent types of maltreatment, the risk factors related to the mother's age and condition, as well as the consequences for the mother-child dyad. The results of this review suggest that pregnant adolescent women are highly vulnerable to psychological, physical and sexual violence by their partners, ex-partners, family members and health professionals. There are risk factors at the individual, family, economic and couple levels that increase vulnerability and generate long-term consequences for both mother and child. In conclusion, violence against pregnant adolescent women is a multidimensional problem that requires urgent and effective intervention by families, health professionals, health institutions and society in general to prevent and mitigate its serious consequences.
