This bibliographic review article focuses on identifying practices implemented by companies in the construction sector for the management of occupational risks. The analysis of some success stories was carried out to recognize the fundamentals in the execution of activities that plan, coordinate, execute and control dangers associated with the performance of the tasks carried out by the personnel, and that benefit the projects productively and competitively. In order to carry it out, statistics of occupational risks in terms of accidents were diagnosed, identifying the most frequent causes.
