Item Propuesta de un instrumento de autoevaluación con fines de acreditación: Factor egresados, en programas de medicina de pregrado(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2020) Molano Agudelo, Pedro Andrés; Gil Forero, Janeth CeciliaThe present research, located in the research line in policies and educational management, of the master of education of the Santiago de Cali university, proposes a tool that can be used by higher education institutions to perform the self-assessment of the Impact Factor of Graduates on the Environment, in the development of high quality accreditation processes specifically for undergraduate programs in medicine; this tool is a product of the integration of the evaluative aspects of the National Accreditation Council in Colombia 2013 and of the modules of the international accreditation model for medicine programs of the World Federation of Medical Education -WFME 2015. This proposal is developed through a qualitative basic research, while proposing a new theoretical construct based on other problems, by generating a more relevant and specific tool to address the processes of self-evaluation and accreditation of undergraduate programs in Medicine within the framework of the quality assurance system education in Colombia, seeking its position and international recognition. To this end, a review of the accreditation models identified, as well as the methodologies and instruments used by different programs accredited in Colombia to perform the self-assessment of the Impact of Graduates in the Environment factor, is based on that specifically identify gaps and common points on which its integration and development are based, thus reaching the development of the proposed instrument, which was sometimes evaluated by a panel of experts seeking to determine its relevance and validity from the perspective of the evaluator and the assessed. The proposed self-assessment instrument will be configured in a convenient, useful, practical and easily understood and implemented tool during the self-assessment processes in accreditation by the undergraduate programs in medicine, strengthen them in the search for quality, recognition and positioning international.
