Las artes plásticas como medio de expresión de las emociones

Today, there is talk about the importance of the development of emotional intelligence in children, as well as the social implications that this has. In this sense, it is important to keep in mind that there are tools that facilitate this process, therefore, the purpose of this article is to reflect on the role of the plastic arts as a means of expressing emotions in early childhood, starting from a review of works by different authors. Therefore, topics such as early childhood, the relevance of emotional intelligence in early childhood and its importance, and the reason for the plastic arts as a tool for expressing emotions in initial education are addressed. Finally, it is concluded that, despite the existence of other means of expression, these provide physical (motor stimulation), psychological (personality development) and social (interpersonal relationship and empathy) benefits.
