Obstructive sleep apnea is increasingly common in young people, as well as older people. Interface treatments involve devices or methods that help keep the airways open during sleep, reducing or eliminating obstructions and interruptions in breathing. Aim. Identify failures related to the interface for treating patients with sleep apnea. Methodology. A scoping review was carried out in databases such as Scopus, ScienceDirect, PUBMED, Scielo and Redalyc, using descriptors such as “interface treatment”, “sleep apnea” and “interface failure in sleep apnea”. Indexed articles and books published between 2017 and 2024 were included, in Spanish, English and Portuguese. Technical documents, manuals and newspaper reports were excluded
