Item Diseño e implementación de una aplicación móvil para la asignación de citas en consultorios odontológicos utilizando software libre(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019-08-09) Viveros Martínez, Juan Manuel; Rojas Montes, Javier SalvadorThe design and development of a mobile application in the Android operating system, called “Agéndate” for dental offices, is presented. This solution arises in response to the need to improve administrative processes, which were carried out manually, causing increases in costs and time, to the detriment of the quality of customer service. The developed application allows the management and optimization of the appointment processes in an oral health entity, such as assignment, cancellation and confirmation of appointments. For the construction of the application, the IONIC framework was used, which provides tools and services to develop hybrid mobile applications using Web technologies such as CSS, HTML5 and JAVASCRIPT. The development methodology used was Mobile-D. It was found that the selection of the Mobile-D Methodology with its various phases (exploration, initialization, product phase, stabilization phase and testing phase) was the most appropriate for the successful completion of the application. This satisfactorily met the objectives set out in the project and the client's requirements. The tests with the “Agéndate” mobile application showed that it was possible to optimize in an effective way the management of the appointment processes in an oral health entity
