Chemical substances are part of everyday life, they are present in most of the usual consumer products and goods. Many of them offer benefits and advantages, which make the work within our homes, companies, industries and others easier and possible. Unfortunately, most chemical substances, whether in their pure or transformed state, are at risk to humans and the environment. Millions of workers in the Colombian territory and in the rest of the world, daily expose their lives when handling chemical substances, many of them guilty of the appearance of occupational diseases, either by direct exposure to the physical properties of these agents, as well as also by the levels of exposure of workers to these substances.
