Item La culture comme composant essentiel en classe de fle(universidad santiago de cali, 2021) Mosquera, Natalia; Molina, Andrés; Angulo, Daniela; Pedroza Mazuera, Felipe AndrésDue to the recent interest of many institutions in including culture as an essential component in foreign language courses, the following article reflects on this phenomenon from its particular definition to address its importance from three main levels: educational, linguistic and social, in order to encourage FLE teachers to take this same initiative in their classes. With the help of knowledge based on recognized authors, reflections, and experiences, we discover that the aforementioned levels demonstrate the need to integrate culture in foreign language courses. The first allows us to recognize that culture functions as a learning engine to learn more fully. The second allows know-how with their knowledge and how to communicate it according to the context.
