Una educación humanizada, basada en lo sociocultural, afectivo, y en las realidades del contexto.

In this article, the main objective is to analyse a set of facts relevant to the interpretation of reality in Colombian education, especially in the social sciences and ethics. For this, information is collected through relevant background information about teaching/learning within the basic sciences, the socio-cultural component and the realities of the context. This is followed by the conceptualisation of the basic principles of basic science education, quality and socio-cultural partnership in Colombia. And, finally, the findings made by the authors expressed in the background are discussed, and a debate is left open about what is or is not education. With a final purpose, not only to know the current situation at the educational level in Colombia; but also, to know the cause of the problem and present an alternative or option for improvement when implementing an education based on the socio-cultural, the affective, and in the realities of the context, rather than in the cognitive.
