Item Dependencia emocional y violencia psicológica en mujeres de 18-30 años, estudiantes de la Universidad Santiago de Cali en el 2023(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2024) Fuelantala, López, Ginna Geraldine; Quelal Cuasquer, Yully Carolina; Ramirez Quinero, Carolina; Bolaños, Diego FernandoThe purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between emotional dependence and psychological violence in women aged 18-30, students at the Santiago de Cali University. A mixed methodology was used and the sample group was made up of 21 women. Information was obtained through the use of the Aiquipa, Emotional Dependency Inventory (IDE); Likewise, semi-structured interviews and speaking spaces focused on psychological violence were carried out. The findings demonstrated that there is a relationship between the variables studied. Regarding emotional dependence, the highest dimension in a participant, she reached a direct score of 182. In accordance with the IDE qualification manual, in the general category reaching a percentile of 97, this corresponded to a “high” level. Furthermore, a significant correlation was found between the dimension of fear and intolerance of loneliness and fear of breakup. These dimensions are directly linked to the presence of psychological violence in couple relationships and the consequences that this entails, such as emotional manipulation and the minimization of abuse, which harms their physical and mental well-beingItem Dependencia emocional y violencia psicológica en mujeres de 18-30 años, estudiantes de la Universidad Santiago de Cali en el 2023.(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2023) Fuelantala López, Ginna Geraldine; Quelal Cuasquer, Yully Carolina; Ramírez Quintero, Carolina; Bolaños, Diego FernandoItem El suicidio de adolescentes en Colombia: revisión documental una realidad multicausal.(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2023) Ospina Motta, Juan Sebastián; Bolaños, Diego FernandoOne of the leading causes of death worldwide is suicide. In Colombia, the number of suicide attempts has been increasing in recent years. However, there are no national prevention plans, or interventions are not sufficient to address such behaviors. Therefore, this work aims to: Determine the possible causes of suicide among adolescents in Colombia reported in different studies. Methodology: a bibliographic review monograph of the last five years was carried out, where the Pubmed, Medline, Scielo, Science Direct, Elsevier, Dspace and Dialnet databases were consulted. For the selection of studies, inclusion criteria such as suicidal and self-injurious behavior in adolescents were established.Item ““Sentirse bien con uno mismo” imaginarios sociales sobre la “salud mental” en adolescentes de la ciudad de Cali-Colombia en el año 2021.”(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2021) Diaz Gonzalez Valentina; Conrado Zorrilla Isabella; Mora Villarraga Sofía Alejandra; Bolaños, Diego FernandoObjective Understand the social imaginaries about Mental Health in adolescents in the city of CaliColombia. Method A qualitative research framed in the clinical-oriented “intervention-research” was carried out with which it was sought that the participants achieved subjective elaborations on the object studied. For this, the heuristic method (remember-repeat elaborate) was used. Ten (10) adolescents from socioeconomic strata of the city of Cali-Colombia were selected for convenience in order to show differences in relation to social imaginary about mental health in regard to the respective sociocultural context. Semi-structured interviews were conducted (two -2- per participant). The stories obtained were analyzed discursively, following the principles of psychoanalytic theory. Given what they said, an attitude of suspicion was assumed, also applying psychoanalytic listening. As for the analysis, this was carried out manually (creating tables by categories and by subjects) with the use of Word tools. With this strategy, it was possible to take the main ideas that were read from the perspective of signifiers. The subjects were presented, for their voluntary reading and completion, informed consents / assents and, in the case of minors, parental consent. Results Participating subjects (of both sexes) were between 13 and 18 years old. A variety of results were evidenced aimed at the subjective perspectives of adolescents in relation to mental health, it was also found that some of the subjects have attended psychological consultation, although not all have done so voluntarily and that, in almost the totality of the subjects, the subject of mental health is not one of daily treatment. Conclusion There are similarities in the mental health imaginary that the Cali adolescents participating in this research have, for some it is “feeling good about oneself” for others “not having problems”, likewise, it was found that social, cultural and family contexts influence directly in the perceptions and opinions they have about Mental Health, either supporting the constitution of said social imaginaries or differing from them.
