Learning disabilities are the most common reason why school-aged children receive special education; however, the etiology of learning disabilities remains unknown. Therefore, we sought to determine whether attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) could be a possible etiology of learning disabilities, as this is one of the most prevalent disorders in the educational context. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to determine what proportion of preschool children diagnosed with ADHD can expect to have learning disabilities.
