This article investigates the effectiveness of government e-procurement in Colombia and its impact on the objectivity of procurement processes, as well as its role in reducing political, economic, or personal influences. Using a documentary approach based on the review of academic literature, regulations, news articles, official reports, and online sources, the study examines the capacity of electronic systems to promote transparency, fair competition, and efficiency in public procurement, as well as the challenges and barriers to their implementation
