Item Artivismo, reconfiguración de un discurso de resistencia(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2024) Ortiz Urrutia, Daniela; Torres, Nicol Andrea; Bonilla Angulo, Valentina; Gil Claros, María Fernanda (Director)This thesis investigates how social artivism contributed to creating a narrative of resistance and social protest during the demonstrations in Cali between 2019 and 2021. It examines how artistic and activist expressions merged to transform the discourse and public perception of resistance, using a visual and emotional language that transcends traditional political communication. Through a qualitative approach, techniques such as document review, semi-structured interviews, and social mapping were employed to understand the impact of artivism on the Cali community. The findings show that artivism not only served as a form of expression but also as a tool for uniting and strengthening the community, demonstrating its ability to influence and mobilize during times of social change. This study highlights the importance of social work engaging with these topics, opening a door for analyzing and investigating the role of art in activism and its contribution to the formation of social movements. It provides a basis for future research and mobilization strategies, emphasizing the intersection between art, politics, and community.
