Item Intervenciones profesionales en salud mental en los centros carcelarios(2022) Loaiza Villada, Michell Karina; Belalcázar Lulico, Angelly Marlen; Angulo Caicedo, Jenny Jhoana; Giraldo Henao, Carolina (Directora)The following article offers a look from professional interventions in prisons regarding the mental health of persons deprived of liberty in an analysis of information collected in a bibliographical review, for which 50 documents were analyzed, of which 70 % were written in Spanish and 30% in English. For this search, 6 databases (open and closed) were used, including Google Scholar, Sage Journals, Dialnet, Doaj, Scopus and Gale, from different countries. This allowed expanding a bibliographical review. For the collection of information, 50 reviews were worked on; This exploration made it easier to identify the problems experienced by people who are deprived of their liberty in prisons where they suffer from different violations of their human rights, mainly in mental and physical health issues. In addition, the detention centers still have shortcomings in the provision of health care services, developing serious mental disorders due to the little professional intervention that people deprived of their liberty are able to receive in these detention sites, and with this the quality of life is affected. positive social reinsertion, this review also gives us three results, one of which is political and health where we find a problem such as overcrowding and the abandonment of the State, the second result is the health situation where there are mental and emotional consequences and physical when being in a prison, showing symptoms of depression, anxiety leading them to have suicidal ideas, and finally we have the result of the different interventions that can be offered to this population deprived of liberty, where the interventions seek to identify the needs that are required for comprehensive care. Finally, the importance of carrying out mental health prevention programs and controls within prisons is recognized so that people who are deprived of their liberty find different support programs during their stay in prison so that this positively impacts a after serving his sentence.
