Considering that one of the problems with the greatest environmental impact is the generation of waste and its mismanagement. This paper is aimed at showing the importance of correctly handling hospital waste in health facilities, from the source to its final disposal, with the Purpose of aiming at strengthening the internal environmental culture of the Valle Salud clinic, located in the city of Santiago the Cali, Colombia. This strengthening not only depends on the advances that can be obtained in terms of environmental culture in relation to human talent, but also on the physical, technological, and economic resources that are available to dispose of in the Institution.
