Abstract
The text addresses relevant ideas to the topic, such as music in the development of human beings, the development of social and cognitive skills, and music as a starting point for creativity, imagination, and critical thinking. The objective of this article is to discuss how music and art in preschool education play a fundamental role in the development of human beings, allowing the development of different skills and actively contributing to the comprehensive development of children. Preschool is the stage where teaching strategies are tested to meet the objectives of current education and the commitment teachers acquire when teaching children from an early age. Finally, it is stated that education from a transdisciplinary perspective can make use of elements that are part of society and that are seemingly distant from the educational field, such as the arts.

En el texto se abordan ideas pertinentes al tema como lo son: la música en la formación del ser humano, desarrollo de habilidades sociales y cognitivas y la música como punto de partida para la creatividad, imaginación y pensamiento crítico. El objetivo de este artículo es hablar sobre cómo la música y el arte en la Educación Preescolar juega un papel fundamental en la formación del ser humano, permite desarrollar diferentes habilidades y contribuye de manera activa el desarrollo integral de los niños. El preescolar es la etapa donde se pone a prueba las estrategias didácticas para cumplir con los objetivos que plantea la educación actual y el compromiso que los docentes adquieren al enseñar a los niños desde temprana edad. Finalmente se afirma que la educación desde una perspectiva transdisciplinar puede hacer uso de elementos que hacen parte de la sociedad y que aparentemente están distantes del campo educativo de como son las artes.
