Abstract
Description
We are interested in analyzing the differences between some dubbings in movies and how they affect the general message they are trying to emit. We are aware of the differences and how they will change, transpose or adapt to keep the main meaning and sometimes it will change completely without maintaining the general message. In shows that have scenes with songs when translating them sometimes they will do anything as long as it rhymes, in some cases, they get to rhyme as long as it has the important part of the scene because otherwise this scene would be useless, nevertheless we will still find songs without meaning or purpose to it, at least until you watch the movie/show in its original language. But we also evidenced how expressions might change and some things had to be adapted to our culture and things we know better because there is no possibility to make a literal translation, in that way, the joke continues working as it but with the equivalence of it in our context, as we are going to see later in this article.
