Bibliometrics involves the quantitative analysis of scholarly publications, including books, theses, and other academic papers. The incorporation of bibliometric analysis in undergraduate work is based on a systematic, data-driven approach to understanding the state of higher education, increasing the depth and rigor of the research, capable of providing valuable information that contributes to the originality, relevance and impact of the research and ultimately to the quality of the work. Universidad Santiago de Cali with the support of its faculty promotes, educates and motivates its students to elaborate degree works, with methodological proposals such as research or monographs. This in order to contribute to the academic development and training of future researchers. All degree works are delivered to the repository of the Santiago Cadena Copete library, which is located at the Pampalinda headquarters. Given the effort and great commitment made by the library, its contribution to information management should be highlighted, but it should also be noted that there were some aspects to be improved, such as the loss of a good amount of degree works in a specific period of time. This loss of information is a consequence of poor storage of the degree works in CD format, as a result of their deterioration. Quantitative bibliometric analysis plays an important role in academic research and is particularly significant in the analysis of undergraduate papers, such as dissertations and theses. Objective. In this work we analyzed the tendencies of the degree works sustained by the students of the prehospital care program of the USC during the periods 1999 A - 2023 A.Item Análisis de sistemas de respuesta comunitaria a emergencia, aplicables al área rural del corregimiento de Salónica como modelo de intervención en salud: Revisión de alcance(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2022) Rincon Vanegas, Jonny Andres; Forero Corral, Jousetp (Director)Salónica, is a population located in the rural area of the Municipality of Riofrio, to the southwest on the slope of the Western Cordillera, its main source of economy lies in the planting and use of coffee as an organic crop, pig farming and poultry production, in the sector there is a health post, police station and Volunteer Fire Department. The use of tools such as Machetes, Hoes, Scythe, among others; cause accidents that constantly take lives and affect the health of those who suffer it, the dispersed rural areas of the Corregimiento do not have health centers, thus leaving only the attention to the health post located within the town, added to the above the community does not generate any care response for injured or sick people, so research is carried out on the existence of rural pre-hospital care models in which the community is its main actor, this is how the compilation of fifteen (15 ) articles among which reviews, research papers and models of rural emergency care are observed, of the articles mentioned at the author's discretion, three (3) are chosen for analysis; the way to analyze them is by comparing their structures and subsequent comparison with the demographic, geographical and institutional characteristics of Thessaloniki. Once the articles chosen by the author have been reviewed, it is evident that from the models applied in different geographical areas, the populations in which said intervention model was applied present similarities in their social and demographic characteristics, which would make it feasible to implement a method similar in the Corregimiento de Salónica that presents similar characteristics in terms of population, Geography, and economic factor. The care of injuries by the people who make up the intervention models generated a great impact on mortality and morbidity in these populations. In the three models analyzed, the importance of the support of relief institutions or medical emergency systems was determined, for the training, motivation and training of the people who are part of said models, in order to generate communities suitable for care and Dare them to get to motivate those who still do not find the clear reasons to be part of this initiative; It is advisable to continue with the process of analysis, formation and implementation of a health emergency care model, in which the community of the rural area of Thessaloniki is involved.Item Análisis de traslados aeromédicos: Una revisión de alcance(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2024) Anganoy Tutistar, Henry Octavio; Camargo Laina, Baylloeth Andrea; Lopez Guzmán, Carlos Alberto (Director)Medical air transfer in Colombia refers to the transportation of patients requiring specialized or urgent medical care via airplanes or helicopters equipped with medical equipment and trained personnel. This facilitates the care of patients in remote or difficult-to-access areas, where other health care vehicles would be impossible to reach, making it difficult to care for critical patients or those with the need to have a specialty. In Colombia there are many companies dedicated to providing the air-medical transfer service and one of the entities that regulates and controls them is the Civil Aeronautics, where many points are highlighted such as the increase in its fleet, the transfer sequence throughout the years, among others; Being a government entity that allows us to give a generalized idea of air- medical transfers, despite the difficulties in obtaining specific data on these transfers. The aim of this study is to carry out a research on the burnout syndrome, which refers to the feeling also known as work stress. People who attempt suicide are often trying to get away from a life situation that seems unmanageable. Many of those who commit suicide attempts are seeking relief from different situations that affect their stay in society (MedlinePlus, 2018). All of this leads us as health professionals and pre-hospital care technologists to have to face and deal with this reality in the vocation of providing help in cases of emergencies and more specifically in particular situations, such as when we are faced with critical cases where the person tries to commit suicide in places without any advantage for us as rescuers. It is important to prioritize their attention and more so when we are the first ones to intervene, that is where the importance of having a manual with small essential bases that guides us about how to deal with this type of situation, which serves as a tool for decision making in the face of suicidal ideation and/or behavior, identified the important variability in the therapeutic management, based on the need to guide, organize and implement the action guide for relief agencies to make decisions in a short period of time and that we would be able to protect the life of both the person who is in the emergency, as well as the life of the rescuer. It’s important that every ambulance carry at least one guide to provide quality care in the field.Item Atención prehospitalaria a mujeres víctimas de violencia intrafamiliar(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Hoyos González, Daniel Esteban; Caicedo Ramírez, Yeison; Lucio Herrera, Sara María (Directora)Domestic violence has historically been considered a social problem, but has not received sufficient attention from the authorities in charge of combating or mitigating this problem.
