Item Aplicación de algoritmos en el cálculo mental y las operaciones básicas utilizando modelos virtuales que posibiliten el desarrollo progresivo del sentido numérico(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Ferraro Rodríguez, Michelle Dayana; Ruiz Naranjo, Eliana Jazmín; Castellanos Acosta, Cesar Augusto; Paz Samudio, AlfonsoThe present work is based on studies about the construction of fundamental mathematical concepts using virtual models, carried out by Dr. Alfonso Paz Samudio. His most recent research indicates that students have entered the first semester in the area of fundamental mathematics within the university and its impact on failure and university dropout. Based on this, the University of Santiago de Cali (USC) has launched an institutional program called PIPE (Institutional Program for Student Permanence) whose central purpose is the dropout rate and improve the academic performance of students through transversal strategies to the USC. Conscientiously, the present research project works with the students prior to entering the university, that is, the students during the school period and the monitoring of the construction and management of algorithms, the statistics of mental calculation, using the virtual technological tools as a measure of accompaniment and didactic help to obtain its purpose: to raise the degree of mathematical cognition of the studentsItem Las competencias matemáticas desde la formulación y resolución de problemas en estudiantes de grado sexto del colegio gimnasio moderno del valle(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2020) Rivera Villarreal, Darwin Arbey; Zemanate Mora, Marly; Bustos Olaya, HernanThe objective of this research work is the implementation of a didactic strategy for the strengthening of the mathematical competences through problem situations in the sixth grade of the Colegio Gimnasio Moderno del Valle, in the Municipality of Jamundí (Valle del Cauca). The methodology with which this research work is carried out is qualitative-descriptive, using the case study method. The Polya heuristic method is used as a pedagogical strategy to strengthen the processes of formulating and solving mathematical problems. The main results show that the design of tools for the teaching / learning of problem solving had a positive impact on the 6th grade students of the Colegio Gimnasio Moderno del Valle, although it is noted that they must be developed in a much more periodic way. and extensive to achieve the desired strengtheningItem Construcción de la noción de las propiedades de figuras geométricas en 2d a través de procesos de visualización(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Bonelo Ayala, Alvaro Alexis; Cortes Marquinez, Katibel; Malagón Patiño, María RocioItem Construcción del concepto de inecuación lineal en una variable, utilizando herramientas virtuales(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Burgos Miller, José Manuel; Zapata Zapata, Ramón Antonio; González Grajales, Jessica Tatiana; Paz Samudio, AlfonsoIn this paper, the construction of the concept of linear inequality is analyzed through virtual tools such as: GeoGebra, PhET, and MathPapa in ninth grade students of the Liceo Los Pinos school in the city of Cali (Valle del Cauca). We will use, as a methodology of research, the one developed in the "Ethnography and qualitative design in educational research", proposed by (Goetz, 1984). Six chapters of development have been proposed to carry out this project: in the first chapter the bibliographic compilation is made, where the didactic transposition oriented towards constructivism is defined, which describes learning as a construction process on the part of the student. In the second chapter, the theoretical framework and the legal framework are developed. The third chapter presents the methodology used, the 5 data collection instruments and their respective analyzes. The fourth chapter refers to the context. In the fifth chapter the design of the sequence of activities is developed where the use of virtual tools for the concept construction is evidenced. And finally, in the sixth chapter, the interest that virtual tools produce is observed in ninth grade students. Item Enseñanza de las fracciones en la escuela primaria(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2020) Angulo Quiñonez, Iván Fernando; Escobar Cifuentes, Jonathan; Paz Samudio, AlfonsoThis final Project for graduation, shows the development of different activities about fractions teaching, which were done with the methodology of an educational workshop previously organized in sessions to get the proposed achievements at Llano Verde School located in Invicali Desepaz. Among the proposals, spaces of discussion and reflection about the didactic theories, concepts and activities of the teaching and learning process; and specifically, in the case of fractions, concerns and lack of information that is evidenced by teachers, which it represents what allows to validate whether a student learned or not, were created. For that matter, some theoretical references were exposed and some successful experiences related to teaching process of fractions were shared from internet. Finally, it is presented a didactic sequence about teaching of fraction designed by the same teachers as a final result of the educational workshop, in which it is evidenced learning in the concept of fraction and how it should be addressed it in the classroom using manipulative material as a strategy of meaningful learningItem Estrategia de enseñanza de las operaciones matemáticas básicas a través de la herramienta virtual clic 3.0 para el grado segundo de la institución educativa José María Córdoba sede Antonio José de sucre(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Alegría Hurtado, Juan Carlos; Álvarez Cano, Diego Armando; Paz Samudio, AlfonsoItem Estrategias de aprendizaje para la suma de números enteros utilizando plataformas virtuales educativas(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Aristizabal Gutiérrez, Ruth Verónica; Lizcano Rojas, Lucelly; Villota Enriquez, Jakeline AmparoThe present investigation consisted of characterizing the strategies that students use for the sum of whole numbers through virtual educational platforms. The context of this study were two educational institutions: Miravalle School Institution and Liceo Porvenir Institution; where the participants were 67 students, which were distributed in two courses in the following way, 45 students in first grade, 22 in sixth grade, for the analysis and the data a sample of four students of each grade was taken in a random way. The study method was qualitative and the direct observation type; the instruments used for the collection of information were the implementation of mathematical tasks, the observation which was approached through filming and / or videos, photos and field notebook. The results obtained showed that there are different learning strategies which are used by the students in a conscious and unconscious way, but in most cases they are employed autonomously and voluntarily in order to develop the proposed mathematical tasks. It should be noted that the proposed mathematical tasks were mediated by the use of virtual educational platforms (Sofiaxt and Educaplay), with the intention of improving the student's interaction with the task to be performed and recognizing the strengths of these tools in the current educational contextItem Estrategias utilizadas por los estudiantes para desarrollar operaciones básicas con números enteros mediante la implementación de herramientas virtuales(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Muñoz Meneses, Elide Yisela; Gutiérrez Agudelo, Luz Albenis; Paz Samudio, AlfonsoThis work consisted of describing the learning strategies to develop basic operations with whole numbers through the implementation of virtual tools. This work of degree was executed in the General School Pedro Alcántara Herrán located in the city of Cali belonging to the commune six (6); whose participants were sixth grade students. The methodology implemented in this study was qualitative, where the data collection process was carried out through documents (guides), videos and photos. The results show us that students use different strategies to operate with whole numbers through the implementation of virtual tools where each of them has a certain intentionality linked to mathematical tasks.Item El juego como estrategia metodológica para desarrollar la adición y sustracción con los números naturales en estudiantes del grado segundo(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Manzano Choco, Claudia Patricia; Murillo Tamayo, Brayner Isaac; Villota Enríquez, Jakeline AmparoThe present investigation was developed with the objective of implementing the game as a methodological proposal for the development of addition and subtraction with natural numbers in the second grade of the San Joaquin II School, located in the corregimiento El Hormiguero of the city of Cali. This investigation is cutting qualitative-descriptive and whose data collection instruments were: the survey which was applied in a population of 23 students, who are between 6 and 7 years old, and the sequence of mathematical tasks centered on the game for learning the addition and subtraction of natural numbers. The results show that the implementation of game as a learning strategy (the ladder, the domino, the park, the boat is going to sink, among others.) allowed to obtain better results in basic operations addition and subtraction math with natural numbersItem Las Regletas de Cuisenaire como Alternativa para Fortalecer la Modelación de Problemas que Involucren Sistemas de Ecuaciones de dos Incógnitas(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2020) Castro Muñoz, Jhon Alexis; González Ceballos, Claudia Ximena; Reyes Santa, Carolina; Peña Rengifo, Celimo AlexanderThe research entitled "The Cuisenaire Rods as an Alternative to Strengthen the Modeling of Problems Involving Systems of Equations in Two Variables" was developed with the objective of implementing the Singapore method through the sub-method of the Cuisenaire rods as an alternative to strengthen the modeling problems of lengths and parts that involve systems of equations of two variables at the educational institution Nueva Salomia of Cali. Qualitative work in a sample of nine students belonging to the ninth grade of the educational institution Nueva Salomia of the city of Cali, using as data collection the following instruments: the interview, the diagnostic test (pre-test) and post-test. The main results show significant progress on the subject of motivation, interest and leadership, taking into account the change in methodology which is far from a traditional educational system, that students would solve mathematical operations without the need of the teacher's total attention, allowing autonomous and collaborative work and also to internalize the processes, and have a didactic tool to establish procedures in relation to the resolution of mathematical problems of lengths and parts that involve systems of equations of two variablesItem Secuencia didáctica para la enseñanza del concepto de rotación a través del método Singapur y mediante la implementación del cubo de rubik como recurso educativo(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Ku Peñaranda, Geovany Alexander; Rodríguez Origua, Jerly Mercedes; Paz Samudio, Alfonso
