The purpose of this literary article is to review dental implants, such as their methods, materials and innovations to improve oral wellbeing with patients who will have missing teeth. After the introduction, the objective of dental implants will be highlighted, the types of implants most used in implantology due to their success in procedures, among which immediate loading implants, implants with partially removable prostheses, implants all on four will stand out. , all on six, endo-osseous implants and zygomatic implants. Then we proceed to explain the general procedures that must be taken into account by the professional to perform the dental implant, always accompanied by illustrative images as well as taking care of the line of impartiality in order to have an objective article.
