Comparative study between two academic models corresponding to the career of prehospital care of two countries, in the case of the United States is the state of California and in Colombia the department of Valle del Cauca which were the subject of study of the researchers described above; the universities that were used for analysis were: In Colombia, Universidad Santiago de Cali and Universidad del Valle, which correspond to the department of Valle Del Cauca and in the United States Crafton Hills College Riverside and the Foothill College California University School belonging to the State of California, of these universities an analysis of the academic pensum both theoretical and practical was carried out , which showed some similarities in terms of basic sciences but also showed differences such as the admission profile that the applicant must meet in order to be admitted to the educational institution
