Item Presencia de estrés post traumático secundario causado por la pandemia del COVID 19 en el personal de salud de primera línea en Latinoamérica: revisión de alcance(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2023) Sánchez Real, Brayam Alfredo; Lucio Herrera, Sara María (Directora)This article allows obtaining a critical and comparative analysis among health personnel worldwide, specifically in Latin and Central America where 20 articles were found from various Latin American countries such as Paraguay, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Argentina, Cuba, Brazil and Chile, however, in the latter a minimum percentage of research related to the topic was found.Likewise, it was evidenced that most of the articles cover the approach at a general level in physicians, specialists and nurses, hence the knowledge gap regarding secondary posttraumatic stress, which has not been studied in the Colombian pre-hospital care personnel. Objective: To identify symptoms of secondary post-traumatic stress caused by the Covid 19 pandemic in Latin American and Central American health personnel. Materials and Methods: This article is a scoping review based on the prism guide method for article coding; segmenting the information based on the PCC question (Population, concept and context). It is a qualitative, descriptive, retrospective study. Conclusions: to identify symptomatologies of post-traumatic stress in health personnel in the face of the Covid 19 pandemic and to watch over the mental health of this population, which is the most vulnerable and a risk factor worldwide. Also to socialize and reflect on different types of mental, psychological and social treatments.
