Formulación y análisis de estabilidad y actividad antimicrobiana de un desodorante natural

Five formulations of a natural cream-type deodorant, emulsified by solid particles, were made using materials with antibacterial properties such as citronella essential oil and pine oil, in addition to using ingredients that are not related to health problems or biodegradation. to obtain an environmentally sustainable product. Bacterial growth tests were performed on these extracts by the disk diffusion method, following the population behavior of the Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. It was found that the best formulation was the combination of ZnO with citronella oil, while all the formulations were stable after four months, and using a preservative free of parabens, they preserved well, except for the blank.
