Item La cadena de suministro en el sector alimentos en Colombia(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Suárez Jaramillo, René AlbertoFor a long time it has been thought that logistics is part of the supply chain, understanding that this is the generation and organization of movements within the daily operation, which is part of the supply chain, which plans, implements and controls the efficiency of two-way flows back and forth, between a point of origin and consumption in a client, in order to meet the requirements of it. Logistics seeks to interact with the other elements of the chain among themselves, thus generating a greater value proposition to customers, as well as the efficiency and maximization of the company's resources; The processes of the supply chain in the food sector in Colombia are the basis for the execution of a good strategy of the organization, generating competitiveness and improving the processes. Companies are discovering that the increasing complexity of supply chains has an important consequence, these processes are generally four and are composed in the following way. Supply, understanding that this process corresponds to the company's strategy in terms of an inventory management model correlated with the sales projection. Storage and Picking corresponds to the second process and leads to everything related to wineries and picking models in terms of optimizing costs and the best way to have inventory stocks. Distribution would be the third process in the supply chain, responsible for the delivery of goods to the final customer, where this can be through a customer spraying, last mile strategy or simply having a third party company specialized in this work. The fourth process is the reverse logistics that for a decade has taken more force in the supply chain, because it collects the most information from the client and has as an improvement model having the customer service system integrated with this process. The supply chain will not always be executed in the same way, this depends on the type of company and its sector, in this way it is the complexity and management of the entire supply chain for the food sector in ColombiaItem Esquema general de intervención para el diseño del sistema de recolección de aguas lluvias en una planta de producción ubicada en Cundinamarca(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Lozano Londoño, Darly; Salazar Calvache, Oscar AndrésThis project is carried out with the purpose of being able to establish in some areas of the plant an intervention scheme for the design of a rainwater collection system that allows compliance with current regulations and efficient water use programs through Use of the resource in a production plant located in Cundinamarca. What is proposed is to demonstrate through a very simple system the use that can be obtained through a scheme with possible solutions that pose in a coordinated, planned and sustainable way generating economic savings, generating a culture of environmental care, avoiding waste of water and being a reference in the plants of the Andean Region for being environmentally responsible
